This is an extreme example, but it still rings true. Women‘s football has improved a lot in the last 10 years, but there still are so many fucked up small situations that really don’t make sense. The physical aspects also make it look ridiculous from time to time, even though these women are obviously pushing the limits of female biology. It’s just instinctively weird to see them on the pitch, which is always the same size, being 20cm shorter than the men.
The biggest difference is the keepers. They do a lot of retarded stuff and are noticeably short as well. Put a 1.78m keeper from the 6th tier in the goal and any team would improve significantly. And yet, women seem terrible as penalties when they should have a slightly higher conversion rate due to female keepers having less reach
It’s entertaining and not all terrible by any means, but there always are moments that make anyone used to men‘s football go WTF. But you obviously gotta be careful with expressing that, even if it’s just a neutral observation
