Steering imbalance.
Check your tire pressure and wear (all four should be equal) and check that your wheels are properly mounted. If necessary check the steering column.
Sometimes car imbalance can also be a result of uneven loading. That should be rather obvious though, for example if you have Edd in the companion seat.

At high speeds a cars nimbleness is decided by the amount of downforce, at low speeds a cars nimbleness is usually decided by its weight, but when a car is equipped with a fan, that fan generates massive downforce at very low speed - the complete opposite of most wings, which build increasing amounts of downforce as the speed goes up. Since the downforce at low speed generated by the fan would massively outweigh any increase in weight the overall nimbleness of the car would increase at any speed.

The Brabham 46b our only example of an fan car weighed - 600-650kg being ~25-50kg heavier than the non fan version, hardly an excessive increase considering the advantages.

The reason merc got such a engine advantage in 2014 was just because they were the only ones paying attention to the rules and therefore got a head-start.

Because we all lived through the 2014-2020 years of shit everyone will be paying attention to the engine regs to make sure no other team gets a lead on them, merc might have the most competent engine department of all the teams, but if they do it's really not by that much. Since they won't have the same head start on everyone like they did in '14 i really don't expect the championship to be decided by the engine.
Certainly one or two manufacturers may get it very wrong (like merc getting the aero very wrong in '22) and that will rule them out of championship contention, but i expect the strongest and the second strongest engines to be within about ~10hp of each other, so things will likely get decided by aero instead. If merc neglect their aero department in favour of going all out on their engine they may regret it.

Will Mclaren really get the full power engines the same ones as merc runs in their cars, or will merc be frightened that if they're given the same engines and Mclaren is their main competitor that Mclaren will out-aero them?
There's been some talk that all the teams are getting the same spec engines as the factory teams now, but i think that's bull. Almost certainly merc will have a electronic way to enable or disable higher engine modes, if they manufacture the engines with this control built in and hard-coded, then i really don't see how you would know about it, let alone be able to stop it from happening.

The only reason merc is fine with giving Mclaren full-power at the moment is because merc themselves don't have any hope of a championship.
