This, this and more of this.

>inb4 the WNBA doesn't make a le profit so they shouldn't get le paid
You pay people based on the work done, not the profit.

We're now in year what, of trying to make women's sports work? And all it takes in reality is for women to show up to games and financially support women's sports leagues. But women refuse to do that simple task and would instead like to make it about men somehow even though they are half the population and have tons of disposable income that they use on frivolous shit all day. If women are so desperate for this gender wars win, then literally just show up. It's that easy.

Nah, that's bullshit, the Jew Dave Portnly of all people has the correct take. The cost of an expansion team just went up from 50 to 250 million. The value of the league is the price am owner is willing to pay for a team. That's how all companies are valued, it's just that I'm team sports athletes are uniquely positioned to collectively bargain. The nfl and nba settled on 50 of up front gross to players, whichade the owners mad as hell. The girls want that too, and the next collective bargaining agreement is up soon, 2026. All this
> Le girls don't make money
Is posturing. Both sides are posturing, as adversaries do. Big question is what deal the girls will cut next year. I believe the NFL men got cut back from 50% revenue last time because the owners had a plant in the players union (JC tretter). It's a pr game asuch as a business game, so expect theatrics. As for
> Muh final profit
Have you learned nothing from Hollywood? If you take a deal for profit, the movie will magically lose money every time. What a bunch of children you are exposing your lack of knowledge of the world.

It's different right now with the WNBA though, the owners are putting in a bunch of money as a loss right now, hoping that it will turn into money tomorrow. The WNBA is losing more money than ever because they are going all in on trying to market and grow the league. So 50% of revenue doesn't really make sense when a lot of that revenue is from the owners splashing money around everywhere to try and grow the league.
They do have a point if the TV deal is way higher than the last one though, if the reporting is correct.

Every owner cried they are putting so much money in, bitch please. The nba already built the infrastructure (with tax goyim money). It's posturing, plain and simple. Make the owners pay gross points or GTFO.
Bitch ass nfl owners cried last cba that the league costed the money, so the players got hoodwinked into less than 50 percent gross. And now the cowboys are worth $15 billion. Wow what an expense, Jerry Jones is devastated. Call their bluff if you're the muff.

The entire argument of the WNBA is that their earnings should be based on the revenue generated by men in the NBA, not women in the WNBA. This is the case with womens' tennis, soccer, and I believe golf as well.

you pay people based on the value they provide. Labour doesn't have inherent value, it's purely subjective. WNBA players make an active mockery of the sport of basketball, so if anything they owe the league money rather than the other way around.
