I lift 4 days a week, sometimes 5, and work a manual labor job. I think bicep curls with a really strong, immobile base, and the weight being curled as far away from you in a long arc and back down would feel even better on forearms while also hitting biceps, and it's a more functional lift, and a compound which is basically a core exercise to boot, but at the end of the day if you're seeing progress and increase in size/strength that's what's important.
