You still wouldn't go to jail, a contract dispute isn't a criminal matter. The club would have to seek a county court judgement and they'd try get a private organisation to reclaim the money he owes via bailiffs etc

Liverpoo customers are in for a RUDE awakening this season.

All those signings will take at least half a season to gel, they'll be playing championship quality link-up play until Christmas. Think Darwin Nunez but in all of those positions they bought.

Follow that up with Salad getting older and demotivated after getting his bumper contract and I'll be surprised if he's not sold by his jewish owners after tweeting "Kill all of the IDF" in January.

Van Disney gets injured and Alisson's wife will suffer a paper-cut at the same time causing that entire backline to collapse. They will be shipping more goals than Sunderland.

They won't be getting Isak this summer and certainly not in January either when the real giants of europe (Barcelona, Bayern, Real, PSG) start bidding for him. That will leave them with Ekitike, Gakpo and a couple teenagers as their only forwards. They're fucked.

They should be happy with a top half finish this year.

Only a stepping stone club would actually like this and think it makes them look good.
If anything they'd fall even lower than stepping stone status, because why would any player want to go to them if this is how they conduct business.
You just know Guimaraes, Tonali, Gordon etc. are looking at this and questioning how the club is run.

I think that if a professional breaks a contract then all the professional leagues should not register him. These players are bought and sold as commodities and receive massive salaries for it. I donโ€™t care for any of the parties involved but to allow stuff like that would be bad for any professional league.

Oh and my understanding of the Goyokeres case was he had a deal with the board that he could leave and they played hardball. Not sure if this was ever mentioned with Isak though.
