I warned you. Gyökeres was a shitter for his whole career. Then he had an acceptable season in the Championship, mvoed to Portugal and finally did great playing for the best club in a league that isn't known for being competitive. His finishing is great but you can't ignore that Tugão defending is atrocious. He might score some goals but he's not the man you go for if you have any ambition of winning the EPL.

i wasn't impressed with his technique much, he seems a bit of a lumbering guy that can score but he needs space and relies on his physicality a lot. in the premier league both those things are hard to find, you are marked a lot tighter and central defenders are all pretty strong so you cannot really outmuscle them as easily as from the videos i saw of him from the portuguese league

but he'll probably still get his share of goals just by being in the right position and having good finishing, and he can learn to adapt to the pace of the premier league over time
