The only semi-recognisable US sportsmen are the top NBA players and the main WWE wrestlers like John Cena. The top baseball, NFL and Ice Hockey players could walk into any room in europe and not be recognised.

Leon Draisaitl is pretty famous here, but he might get away in public since ice hockey players wear helmets. Especially shaven, he would have good chances to go undercover despite his name being fairly well known
MLB is absolute literal who territory and so is 99% of the NFL. NBA players probably have a slight advantage since they tend to be freakishly tall, so people will easily see them and might think "woah, he must be a famous basketballer or something"
