This is boxing, we've seen Inoue hurt multiple times now. The other guys at the top of the p4p list aren't nearly as reckless and aren't getting downed nearly as much, or at all. Inoue can box well when he wants to, but what he wants to lately is crash the pocket like he's fucking edgar berlanga crushing cans. I need legit arguments, scientific without subjective bullshit as to how anyone thinks Canelo can actually win this fight.
I'll begin by summoning history.. The most obvious critique about the 'size' thing is that Canelo in his physical prime couldn't even put a dent in a washed up Miguel Cotto. Is Cotto better than Crawford, idk, but Canelo couldn't do shit with him. Canelo also clearly lost to mayweather, arguably lost to a fleeting runner Lara and looked very bad in that fight. Lots of shenanigans as well with Rivera's corner repeatedly dumping ice and water in the corner so much they had to delay starting 2 rounds to clean it up, so much water on Rivera he kept making slick spots in the ring that had to stop the fight to be cleaned, his tape, etc. Cordova kept trying his left hook but Rivera would be in southpaw and turn his head to the left so he'd get hit in the back of the head. Managed to get Cordova to take a point deduction for it and he stopped using it, neutered one of his best punches.
