Seriously speaking though, I love me some futbol but sadly its institutionalization does WAY more bad than good - not talking just about the violence, but the hassle it generates for society (for example, if you live in Buenos Aires, you GOTTA check what clubs are playing and when, so as to avoid taking certain routes if you're going somewhere, traffic colapses).
Of course it's not a problem in civil countries (the 1 or 2 that still exist, like Japan), but in latin america, futbol clubs cause a lot of harm, from small things like causing traffic problems (not sure if small though, time is important, people lose a lot of time trying to get to their homes after work getting stuck at traffic, and all because some clubs are playing) to grave things like actual deaths and injuries.
No other hobby causes this much trouble, not even close. Massive music festivals kinda come close but they aren't nearly as frequent as club matches.
