Vince should do it again. Third times a charm and with the sports betting is now they would probably do well,

Why is the UFL doing terribly then?

The names are stupid and they were in markets that already had NFL teams.

Do it without pads next time like A7FL

Well UFL is USFL and XFL merged. Problem is they are in shit markets now. You could have stuck with the 8 XFL2.0 markets and then added 4 more from USFL to make it a solid league. Gotta make it noticeably different from NFL. The lack of extra points after TDs was nice. The 2.0 XFL kickoff was super badass. The 4th and 20 to replace the onside kick was cool too. XFL 2.0 had a winning formula, it just sucks that COVID sucked all the hype and momentum they had carefully been building up. They were in good stadiums too

I forgot that Vince/WWE ever had anything to do with XFL-2. Honestly digging up that brand was probably a net neutral at best. People like us would find it funny and you'd get some press attention, but the boomer audience would say I remember that, it was dogshit

Put nicknames back on the jerseys.
And bring back the ball stealing on interceptions.

1: The people that run it want to run it as a "family friendly" NFL ripoff
2: The markets they've kept and pushed are awful. They are OBSESSED with Memphis for some fucking reason. Just lean into DC and STL, they're the only ones with any fans.
3: Nobody is actually putting money into it. There's no media blitz, no local advertising at all, and they all play at fuckhuge arenas that are at best 90% empty, sans STL and DC. It just sucks to watch.

You're thinking of XFL 3.0, 2.0 Vipers played at Raymond James.

Yeah, I loved it.

UFL is shit, it took all the worst parts of both leagues, mostly the USFL. I think the XFL was cool cause it was kind of raw and silly. UFL takes itself really serious and that doesn't work if you don't have the talent to back it up. XFL teams were developing personality and UFL teams have people in suits trying to decide what personalities they should have. Vince McMahon has an imagination and will let people try to figure out their own path as long as it's working. Dwayne Johnson has no imagination and wants a polished product and will put people around him who will make that happen. USFL was always about having another avenue for gambling revenue. XFL 2.0 realized that the only reason they weren't an amateur league is because they have to pay these guys to play, UFL presents themselves like they are pro tier league and any of these guys could start on an NFL team if they try hard enough and not a single person watching believes that. Maybe a few guys here and there but there's a reason a bulk of them aren't even on NFL practice squads making more money.

Compare the organic beer snake+lemon incident to the modern, regulated, soulless beer snake allowance

They should have chosen smaller venues. Idk why you'd pay the money for an NFL or large college stadium when you know you're not going to get it more than 25% full. Ironically some soccer stadiums would have been a better fit for the league .

That ruins the image that it's a real league. They need to have this shit at a fairgrounds. Have a petting zoo, face painting for the kids, during the game a couple of guys get to wear clown wigs over their helmets and if they score it's worth more points. Imagine all the cool laterals we'll see.

To be fair at that point only like 3 of those cities had professional football.

The Panthers should have been at Eastern Michigan's stadium but their awful gray turf scared the tv people into using unreasonably expensive Ford Field instead. Detroit is building a soccer stadium but it's still a few years off.
