I have more faith in Hurts to be consistent plus you can always count on points from tush push first downs. I had JD5 in one of my leagues and several of his big games came off flukes after being mediocre most of the time in them, the Hail Mary game and the comeback against the Eagles are ones that come to mind. I can still see him doing well but I wouldnโ€™t chance it personally.

Chubb, Kirk, Mahomes for Hurts... Who wins?
Anonymous United States No.150392292

I think Chubb/Kirk/Mahomes side wins. Mahomes has proven he can have QB1 overall upside, despite coming off back to back disappointing years, and Kirk is in line for a lot of targets from Stroud. Hurts is amazing and his floor is way higher than Mahomes, but I like the upside of Kirk + Mahomes.

Is this a standard league? I ask because I donโ€™t see how Chubb and Kirk move the needle much in trading down value at QB. Mahomes does have potential upside with the Chiefs beings stacked at receivers but I wouldnโ€™t chance think you could get a better deal for Hurts.

Depends how others drafted but this roster isnโ€™t that impressive for a 10-man league in my opinion. It has a lot of boom and bust if last season is anything to go on.
>>150401304
Also got a C and making it at least to the finals. Likely same boat as you, weak at QB and TE but stacked at RB and WR in a 12-man league.

>TE: Engram
* denotes bench
Howโ€™d I do, spee? Was an odd year for drafting for me. Couldnโ€™t get my best feel on what position to take where other than RB early. Handful of league mates ended up autodrafting so a lot of what ended up being their QB2s were taken in front of my pick for a QB1 in someone like Dak or Goff.

rate my draft, highlight was definitely getting BTJ and Nabers back-to-back, my league somehow passed on Nabers which is dumb personally, I only passed on him in 2nd since I think BTJ has probably the higher ceiling overall, his career's prolly gonna pan out better too

I'm not in love with any of the KC players for fantasy purposes. I can see you winning the high score a week or two but also having some really low-output weeks. Gibbs and Nabers should help out with that at least.
>>150402599
Your WRs are stacked. I'd almost consider trying to flip one with a RB for a solid RB3/flex starter, since I don't trust Swift week-to-week. I also agree I'm a little uncertain on value going into the mid-high rounds.

8.5 or 9/10, very solid, i like your late round picks save for maybe judkins and you nailed the first 4 rounds
>>150402534
to be honest, it's pretty shit unless your league is deep. your WR room is not good enough for a 3WR format and i don't see you making up the difference at any other position. dunno what your team looked like last year, but i don't think hurts was the move for keeper
>>150402599
i like jacobs, engram, and your WRs. you've got good depth at RB but i think hampton was a misplay. i don't hate maye, but i personally would have gotten someone in the purdy/dak/fields range instead and stroud is a no from me. 7/10, if you trade wisely you'll do vrey well
>>150402844
good: getting gibbs, BTJ, and nabers is insane
bad: most everything else, i really do not like these other picks in general. you had a giga-stacked WR setup and WR is deep this year, you could have picked one of smith/ridley, forgotten worthy altogether, and wound up with a significantly better RB and TE situation

My thinking was that a lot of those WRs have the potential to pop off with high ceilings and I wanted solid guys at RB before the RB drop off
For my keeper the only other serviceable option would've been Jayden Reed (in this league you can only keep picks after your 4th pick the previous year) and he's in a boot right now.
High hopes for Golden, Hunter, Pearsall, W. Robinson (if Nabers continues to be injured or gets hurt worse), Tillman based on his potential before being concussed etc.
I think JSN could be him this year too

its pretty much the copium squad that hopefully moore goes back to what he once was along with deebo on top of warren breaking out like bowers or atleast feasting on targets, but overall tight end felt like a dart throw after last year where if you dont have mcbride bowers or kittle then your just hoping for 8 points

like a 4/10... you invested too much into unknowns like rice and mooney and two guys with question marks at TE (although i don't mind the warren pick). but it's not terrible, you have a pretty good QB and a strong RB room.
>the players in the 4th round werent worth taking so early because 2 retards went qb in the 3rd so
this line of reasoning is exactly what fucked you up. how does this even make sense? if you think two players got drafted too early in the 3rd, that should mean there are MORE viable players in their place in the 4th round.

Oh my god mate I gotta be honest. Your WR room is atrocious. Like my god your team is already touched if you left the draft like that. And you wasted a high pick on laporta who probably wonโ€™t return his value. Meanwhile I think Isiah is injured so Andrewโ€™s will be the better te to start. So why have two?? Your running backs will carry your team but your wr room is gonna kill you. Love Wilson and his role in the team but letโ€™s face it, fields is not drafted for his passing ability. Meyers was a reasonable wr2 but now his status is up in the air. And Jennings might be good but missed all of preseason for a contract dispute.

I had the number one over all pick in a 12 team keeper league. I traded it out for a 2nd and a 4th round pick from a team drafting 4th. Looking at who i like and where and who I could reasonably get, I might end up with James Cook and Marvin Harrison Jr. Did I fuck up? who would you be targeting. I mean, it really depends on your strategy and personal preferences.

IMO - take whoever is left of Chase, Bijan, Barkley, Gibbs, CeeDee or JJ in the first. On the second, Iโ€™d grab a RB like king Henry (likely gone by then tho), Bucky or Chase Brown. But, if one of the other top tier WRs fell a bit you could grab them (Brian Thomas JR, AJ brown). 3rd round you could grab Hampton or Kyren or something like that. Your later picks depend on what your team looks like. For reference, I was pick 9 and went RB-RB-RB and then WR for like, the next 7 picks. I always punt on TE and QB though. But, some people like to grab their TE early or QB early/mid rounds and you may feel like grabbing Bowers in the second and/or Josh Allen in the third etcโ€ฆ personal preference and risk tolerance.

ESPN has a near mock draft tool specific to your league settings and you can choose your draft position. Youโ€™ll be drafting against bots, but I found it helpful to do a few of those at my draft position to have somewhat of an idea of who may be available at your position for each round

5th Pick Snake Draft PPR 14 teams. Thoughts? Little shaky on Tetairoa and MHJ, but I think Pickens could really break out on the Cowboys Offense. Pretty satisfied with Saquon / Chase, and Jordan Mason's potential if old man Aaron Jones goes down. Not so sure on Kelce, but he fell to the 7th and felt like I had to take him. Doubled up on QB/TE with Purdy / Njoku in rounds 8 and 9 because the WR/RB options were really thin and felt overvalued at those picks. Legette is sort of insurance if McMillan doesn't pan out, while Palmer / Wilson are just fliers on them potentially breaking out.

Overall I'm pretty happy, I think I have good depth and a strong starting team so long as my WRs pan out.

It really depends on the scoring and how bullish your league is at QB for supahflex. If you'll end up taking like a CJ Stroud with your second-rounder just to get a QB for the super-spot then maybe it's worth it. In general though, like that other anon said, you can probably do better at WR/RB with Burrow as your anchor.

yeah I definitely didnt mean to go that heavy on chicago, just the way my draft worked out. I am really high on odunze so not worried about him, and swift is just a flex so I dont care too much, plus he still has a ton of upside as a ben johnson rb1. loveland was an absolute panick TE pick who will probably be replaced by a waiver guy after week 1.

as for RJ harvey, Ill take a pass catching RB in a sean payton offense in a heartbeat. got him in the 7th round it was a no brainer. not worried about glass joints dobbins one bit.
