I said at the time it was a mistake to sack ETH, I mean yes ETH also had some duds (onana, antony) but he was also let down by the biggest stars in the club - trashford and bruno. When you end up with mental midgets like that as your senior stars you're in for a lot of trouble and the essence of that toxic culture has been there for a while, so whoever comes in needs TIME to change and turn it around. The likes of Rashford should've been sold the moment there was any interest (like that time with PSG) and instead the board gave him a fat contract till 2028, now he's unsellable for the next 5 years (still 3 to go now lmao).
Bruno, who is still fellated by the fanbase and rivals alike, has fallen off a cliff form-wise 2 years ago now and was a MAJOR reason for ETH getting fired and some people still haven't caught up, it's incredible how this guy can pull off a hollywood pass once out of 30 times and is then hailed as some kind of maestro - he's one of the most nervous guys on the ball I've seen watching this team for 25 years and his antics are fucking infuriating. Him losing the ball like a mong today while pointing at someone perfectly encapsulates his form the past years, and the fact that the head moor sticks him into a midfield two is even more suicidal than the system that was there previously.
Also, how many #10's are there now in the team? Mount, Mbueno, Bruno, Cunha, Zirkzee? What the fuck are they planning on doing with them? I don't understand how Højlund, who wasn't in the 1st team at Atalanta gets stuck upfront and is expected to lead the line in the PL with Zirk (whos not a real striker) as backup yet they have the capacity to stack #10s like there's no tomorrow and for what? kek, Amorim is the worst of the lot by far since fergie and of course he's going to get shafted. This dumb moor is the reason why gazpacho is unsettled - had he started in the EL final in a NORMAL formation they would've beaten that shitty spurs side.
