We have to remember that GGG was pushing 36 in the first fight. He was already passed it. That fight should've happened in 2014 but in typical cinabum fashion they waited as long as possible until he slowed down noticeably.
I rewatched the first fight last night and i forgot how slow GGG looked. Yeah he landed jabs and pressed the fight, but never really landed anything clean that canelo didn't see coming from a mile away. Canelo was more efficient with his power punching, landed more and at a higher percentage. In hindsight the draw wasn't a bad result but its just to say, the fight was way past its sell by date. Crawford's frantic footwork doesn't really pack much of a threat, it's more like peacocking than a legit setup, and Canelo wouldn't be easily rattled by such gimmicks.
