I get what you're saying. Kind of have a similar feeling. If Fritz is ever going to beat Djokovic in an important match now would probably be the time. The odds even seem too suspiciously low. But it's still hard to trust Fritz in this matchup considering how hard he struggles in it every time. Needed Djokovic to win this second set for a likely 3-1. Too shaky in too many services games so he gave the break back too easily. Looks like a 3-0 at this point. Alcaraz serve hasn't even been that amazing this match.Djokovic just hasn't done a very good job in the return games. Serving in general has been a big liability in the past for Alcaraz. Especially on hard courts. Big part of the reason why Alcaraz lost to Djokovic last time at the AO was that he was tinkering with his serve. But Sinner completely serves Djokovic off the court, yes. My calls for the finals are Sabalenka 2-0 and Alcaraz 3-2. Not that I'm betting on that. Just taking the ML. The thing that convinces me the most about Alcaraz this time is that he doesn't have these extreme lapses in his play this tournament he often had in past hard court tournaments. There were still some shakier games and breaks but he always stayed focused. Serve seems much more confident now too than it was at AO even if it's obviously not perfect.
