Why did Bayern agree to pay £70.5m for Nicolas Jackson? He failed in the EPL and Chelsea were desperate to get rid of him, yet Bayern are going to pay more than double what Chelsea originally paid.

Is Bayern even that bad? They won the league, something specialists said it was impossible because Leverkusen was guaranteed to win again
I truly believe they'd have a good chance vs Inter if their squad didn't implode right after the games, they were missing most forwards and half of the defence
You guys just want to desperately hate on Megamind

He needs to meet quotas to trigger the clause which probably are scoring 40+goals and winning UCL, if this happens 70m doesn't even matter desu

The man in charge is famous for quitting his job because of "depression" and leaving his club in absolute ruins
And now there are rumors that he has asked the Bayern board to be relieved again
He needs therapy and can't make these kind of decisions anymore

He had a very good reputation a few years ago. When he was in charge at Gladbach, the club had a very good run and said man (Max Eberl) was generally seen as one of the most competent and also likable people in German football. Then he suddenly did a 180 and dropped out because of depression, only to show up at RB fucking Leipzig a bit later, which obviously mortified and angered Gladbach fans. He then did shit work at Leipzig and fucked off in record time before showing up in Munich. Looking back, it's incredible he used to be popular and considered competent and nice. Whenever he opens his mouth, dumb shit comes out. And he's objectively doing a bad job
Basically set a record for ruining your status. Now everyone hates and/or mocks him. The good part about this he's a puzzle piece in Bayern's grip over the league weakening. Still a long way to go, of course

If that was the case you would've signed Wirtz and Woltemade.

How did you get snubbed in favor of English clubs for your own premium local talent? Then you feed off Chelsea's sloppy seconds, simultaneously overpaying massively and helping bail Chelsea out of excessive spending.

Did you know Bayern has a bank account for a rainy day that is supposedly filled with hundreds of millions or only a few 10s depending on who asks?
Only the ex-president and his handpicked CFO are allowed to know the exact numbers. Curiously the rest of the board including the current president, former Adidas CEO, don't have access.
The CFO lost a finger a few years ago in an unfortunate hunting accident. But it wasn't the ex-president that shot, he was in prison at the time.

we have the dumbest management the past 5 years or so.
We are not simply losing because the EPL is getting even more money, but because our management is shit. They managed to scare every single manager away two years ago, after the Nagelsmann then Tuchel disaster and the signings have been terrible except for Kane and Olise. If a single Bundes team had balls this might be the time to dethrone Bayerns supremacy.

Not right away, especially not financially. That shit's going to take years. And Dortmund are dumb retards, Leverkusen and Leipzig are more or less nerfed, Stuttgart and Frankfurt just aren't ready yet. If anyone has a chance this season, it seems to be Frankfurt as of now
If Bayern fuck up the ongoing overhaul while not fixing their financial strain, we might have a chance at witnessing a new era of balance. And we can only hope it actually happens

Really bizarre transfer. I think Jackson is overhated as a player but 70.5m is insane money - are they planning on not meeting the obligation? Would the 15m even be worth however many Nicolas Jackson appearances that would pay for? Why aren't they looking for a younger long term player?

>70 million can you believe it
debating transfer fees is almost exclusively a sport for idiots who don't understand money and fees or they don't understand what and why the clubs are paying. it rings a retard alert like those poor retards who got rich and buy LV or Gucci because it's expensive and they think that's what rich people wear. if it's an amount of money they can't quite comprehend, it's somehow fascinating to them. They will also say shit like "I'd also play badly in a shit club if I earned that much" because they think that men go into footballing career for money and it's the only thing that matters to them and also makes all their problems go away. and then they follow up by saying how crazy that the deodorant is 5 euros nowadays because they don't understand that jews print money.
