You'd have to get an NFL commissioner who was more interested in the sport than the NFLs bottom line. Every solution for the low frequency of actual gameplay will necessarily reduce the intensity of the gameplay, and that seems to be a priority for the fans.

American (((sports))) are unwatchable. It's a coaches game not a players game. It removes all individuality from the game. Soccer is turning to that to because of the American investment.
