that aside, he waited for a good bit to get another job after the Roma stint and he picked the Turkish league of all places? why not try your luck again with another Serie A or LaLiga team? its not like many of them have good managers and having a good season with any of them would be a greenlight to show that his brand of managing can still work in 2025.

Mourinho was genuinely elite, above any manager from 2004-2011. He just couldn't adapt to the speed of tactical complexity post-Guardiola, even though his biggest achievement is arguably winning the league with Real Madrid against Guardiola's Barcelona.
