When you have dumb faggots who go "uh be a hipster because there isn't the same winner all the time!" and then there is the same winner all the time, what do you expect? You can have one guy win all the time and not being boring as shit anyways, once again Japanese superbike was the best racing of the weekend even with Nakasuga winning by 10 seconds.

I'm as curious as everybody else is to what happened. I just know that we're not where we're supposed to be at the end of a run here. So, just confused. I got one hell of a headache and banged my left hand up. But I've been through sprint car crashes way worse than this, I'm pretty sure. We're good. We're good. We're fine. I promise we're fine."

> The proposal is interesting but we are not happy, because we proposed to have one driver in the technical working group and they never accepted to put one of the drivers in the group. it was always like that in every form of motorsport , in the old days with how shit reliability and manufacturing QC was, it offsetted the chances of slurpers, but if nothing extraodinary happened it was rarely that much different to today. (and yeah not just grand prix racing, but sportscars and rallying as well). In sportscars there were for example, FWL, multiple eras of PWL, PWL french edition, MWL, etc... in rally we've gone from LWL to PWL to LWL in a decade (AWL was never really a thing given how shit reliability audi had early on, and both Lancia and Opel gave them a hard time until Audi fixed their reliability to be then quickly clapped by Peugeot)...

Even without Marc in Gigi's ear, Alex deserves a go of a factory bike for a season at least, he's won 2 races this year while the VR46 lads have done nothing, scamadelli is on his 2nd year on the best bike (24) and is still ramming other riders off the track while his boss is getting pictures of himself being an ambassador for yamaha.

Plus Aldequeer has gotten a few podiums, Gresini have a done a much better job while Rossi who doesn't be at 90% of the races when he does show up is promoting yamaha, its a disgrace Audi hasn't stepped in and made ducati tear up the contract with him, especially with the fact he drives for bmw in his car career.

Wow, that's quite a reaction there, my dude. For me, it's just a bit sad to see motor/sp/orts Christmas broken up. The whole day had a nice flow to it. I would wake up and do food prep for the barbecue while watching F1, grill and watch the Indy 500, then finish up the evening drinking beer watching /turnleft/. I would absolutely love to see every weekend line up that well. If they would commit to running IMSA/WEC on Saturdays, there would be very little conflict between F1, IndyCar, sports cars and NASCAR.
I get that F1 travels all over the world, but the core concept is sound and the schedule could be adjusted to accommodate such things. The only major events that wouldn't fit in would be the 24 hour races and of course the ERC/WRC. Hopefully, the nascent partnership between IndyCar and NASCAR will help a bit.

I don't hate Penske now (like a lot of people) and my main concern is that Power is going to fall victim to the same pit crew and strategist that made Herta go to F3 to farm Super Loiscense points. That would be particularly sad because I feel like he was already let down by Penske in the last two years. Will is still a very talented and capable driver and he deserves better.

Which says that if he cant reach a performance clause on the best bike on the grid then Gigi isn't going to give him a 26 bike and wont be giving him red leathers to wear either, remember, ducati have been in motogp 22 years now, only 2 of those years there was no Italian in the factory team.

one of my theories is that the reason why a lot of road cars in the past 15 years look "too busy" looks wise because advancement in manufacturing and everyone went haywire in "whoooa we can make this many ridges in a flat survace" etc etc and they became both a manufacturing tech masturbation and a lot less tied down the hands of the designers and the clean aesthetic went down the drain (to reborn at the current dogshit minimalism trend ofc)

Personally, I believe it was CAD that killed automotive aesthetics. You can really see it in the 1980s. The old method of making a drawing with pencil and paper and then a model with clay is much more conducive to flowing curves. On a computer, it is much easier to make angular shapes than compound curves. It's also easier to manufacture.

don't let to distract yourself with the fact that angular design was a trend and became prevalent before the car industry started to use CAD software for whole car designs instead of just smaller invidual components. They've obviously decided they have Marc now who is the number one rider and know Pecco is never going to win another championship that they want to start making space for a new young rider they can develop to replace Marc, Alex and Diggia might be a short term replacement for Pecco with ducati ultimately looking at somebody like Acosta im thinking.

If you are talking about a road car, it's because it's so far removed from anything that is street legal that it would need heroic amounts of re-engineering to make it feasible. Which isn't impossible, as per the 936.
It would also be cool if they would make an NSX that wasn't a pigfat hybrid cuckwagon or a modernized S2000 to compete with the BMW Supra, but Honda has really let themselves go. They clearly don't give a fuck about motorsports (their Japanese effort is simply an obligation) and I really wish they would fuck off from IndyCar so other manufacturers would be more confident about entering.

Yeah, it was pretty cool and I got to see two of them. There were so many cool cars I just couldn't snap them all. It was just a test night for a big gasser event happening today. If it wasn't an IMSA weekend, I would probably go watch the actual competition. A lot of the cars were blisteringly fast and there was one minor crash and a couple of very near misses, including a few lane invasions. Not that you want to see it, but it was really wild.
