Yes, it will improve your punch resistance, but some of the moves in this video are excessive. The knuckle push ups and knuckle to backhand wrist switch are very good, I do those as well. However, this guy is deforming his knuckles and not allowing for enough recovery time it seems like. If your knuckles are like that it will actually be a bitch to get them in the boxing glove properly and have it feel right with the wrist. Also, we still don't know if this guy can actually punch hard, because punching hard is not just based on the size of the knuckles or your punch resistance; it's based on proper movement with the hip and shoulder rotation. You will be able to punch all kinds of shit with it hurting less though, which in general is an advantage in boxing, gloved or bareknuckle.

However, his hand mobility is most likely going to be completely fucked later in life.
