The Florida loss looked terrible but so did Ohio states Michigan loss last year. Lots of people thought they were out of it. But at the end of the day Texas has a talented enough team to win it all if they are playing well in December.

The offense was actually able to move the ball on Oklahoma which means they could have moved the ball on anyone. The defense is finally looking how it was advertised preseason. Elite speed everywhere and a nasty pass rush. Only test is if they can stop the run against Georgia. I think that will decide their season.

I want to be clear that I am not saying any of these will happen(and I don't think any of them would make the jump, but with the SEC being the greatest meat grinder in sports, it would not shock me if a lot of the coaches had interest in Penn State. Going from having to deal with Bama, Georgia, Texas, Tennessee, Ole Miss, Oklahoma, A&M, and even Missouri year in and year out is just such an incredibly daunting task when compared to being in the Big Ten and having Oregon and Ohio State being the only true long term threats.
