I know it is difficult to actually conceptualize the idea of Arsenal being the biggest threat in Champions league, given their notorious history in that competition, specifically during the Wenger banter era; when they used to get knocked out by Barca year after year in RO16, when Bayern used to humiliate them 5-1 twice in a year, when they couldn't even beat Monaco to break the RO16 curse....
But at some point you need to forget about the past and see what's going on right now, think about the facts:
They are statistically the best team in Europe in terms of defense (at least among the 5 major European leagues).
The club (not just the team, but also the coaching staff, the board, the fans and the whole community) are highly concentrated on winning major trophies.
There is a massive squad depth in Arsenal, which is one of the indicators of the club taking the matter seriously: spending big in summer to ensure the success of the team even if some key players are absent.
The team are very flexible team and have established a solid plan for various scenarios they could encounter in the tournament e.g. set pieces against teams that sit back.
There are more reasons, but you get the point. They are really that good.
