Most NFL players just play in the "stand there and get heemed" positions, and that's why their careers don't last as long as the average quarterback's.
I think Michael Jordan is the most overrated player up there, because marketing him as le GOAT man and selling shoes and putting him in cartoons with Bugs Bunny was his entire deal. He existed to be overrated. Most people in the world know who he is, but have never heard of Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Wilt Chamberlain, Bill Russell, or even LeBron James if we're being brutally honest and including women who live in Finland and have never watched basketball in their lives. No matter what Michael Jordan achieved, he didn't achieve ten times as much as any other player and yet he is easily ten times more famous than any other player.
Least overrated is either Tom Brady or Wayne Gretzky, since they are actually the GOATs of their sports. Brady is underrated since they're already trying to hype up new GOATs and downplaying his achievements, or Wayne Gretzky because he revolutionised his sport completely and still nobody has come close to him in 40 years, even when they already had the original Gretzky to use as a template.
