soccer or baseball, guys? i was watching the world fucking series and it was boring. soccer for me is even more boring though. fucking i'd rather watch tennis than either of those two sports and i don't even know the rules of tennis.

Tennis matches are like 4 hours long. F1 is also pretty boring until like the last 10 laps, if you're a big fan or betting on someone. Basketball gets lame after you've watched like 50 games and realize it's the same shit forever. Soccer is popular because every goal was different, there were cool dribbles, long shots, fans drinking, chanting and fighting in the stands, now it got big, efficient, robotic, pacy africans passing until someone taps in for an audience of geriatrics and leftists.

We've had these threads before, and everyone agrees that the most boring sports are anything long-distance. Marathons, long-distance swimming, 10,000m running, alll that shit. The Tour de France can be comfy because the scenery is nice, but the sport itself is dull too. It is impossible to argue with this.

Basketball is boring. Nothing in the first 3 quarters is memorable. And now, the end of game is ruined due to purposeful fouling. If you're down 3 with ball, you don't even get an attempt at a game tying shot. They foul, give you 2 free throws, and so on.

Baseball. In soccer, at least they're jogging up and down the field while with baseball, everybody just stands around literally doing _nothing_ unless someone gets a rare hit.

I bet third world baseball is more fun to watch or play than over-strategized 4 hour long mlb games. I remember a sports tweet after the 2018 world series long game that brought up the fact that the 1939 world series took under 4 hours total to play 4 games.

baseball is a shittier version of cricket i'm afraid, and i say that as someone who isn't particularly into cricket. i hate wogball with every fibre of my being but it's definitely better than baseball.
