Nice rundown of the situation. That's really toxic for the sport. And I don't have a solution for it.

I never emotionally connected to cycling because of all the cheating. It has all the problems counter espionage has as well. The ones who research and proof all the doping or espionage don't get rewarded enough to make it worthwhile.

Maybe after AI generates abundance all elite athletes should get some basic salary and retirement fund that gets cancelled if they're caught cheating?
