Here you'll find magnets of Rarbg. Everything.txt is about 210MB text file containing all magnets so far. Will update the list soon, but meanwhile, save it for safekeeping.

# Use ripgrep to search RARBG Magnets
rarbg() {
rg -aiNF "$1" "$HOME/Documents/Piracy/RARBG Magnets/everything.txt"
}

what program to use to open the "weird" files, like "0e57050e6b06e136a1620d3ecb7378c4ec4a0f2a"?

That means your torrent client hasn't found any peers to download the actual torrent from yet.

That's not what he's asking at all. He doesn't know what to do with the raw hash value.

Although OP means well, this Everything.txt is very incomplete and VERY unwieldy to use. It comes from the VERY earliest days after RARBG's demise (I think literally the first 1 or 2 days, iirc). I remember the context of how and where it first appeared.

It's not "useless" as such, but there are much better options.

I invite both of you to read the first two posts in the nearby Stupid Questions thread, here:

there, I posted the magnet link to a very comprehensive database of rarbg's magnets that easily surpasses "everything.txt" in volume and is stored in a much more useful database format. You'll also find detailed instructions there about how to use it efficiently and search it in very flexible ways if you need.

Someone there later made fun of it and suggested that it's better to use various random online websites that appeared after rarbg's death. While he's not wrong from the point of view of usability for the average user, the advantage of having the database locally means that it will always be with you and you don't need to rely on some random third party websites.

In other words, if you are ALREADY interested in keeping a collection of rarbg's magnets locally on your hard drive, it's MUCH better to use that SQLite database which is fuller and also has more searchable information in it compared to this .txt.
