I wonder if, between the 5-cost evo and the Assembly requirement not exactly encouraging you to stick to one Ver., Kimeramon can support running Sukamon. Sukamon doesn't give you the most powerful version of Kimeramon but it does allow you to reuse him, and if you have Devimon or Gazimon in the trash you get to make him a 12k Retaliation Blocker which would be very obnoxious.

If not, you still have SkullGreymon to recycle Kimeramon and Monochromon as a more friendly source of Blocker.

Hi Andromon ace now makes sense because he can protect chimeramon, Titamon ace is also a good threat or even hard drop during the turn in which chimeramon is played, he can potentially play out two more retaliation blockers your opponent has to deal with.
Whats great about this system is that you dont care if your digimon gets bottom decked, deleted, hits an ace, as long as the sources end up in trash, you can keep replaying chimeramon over and over.
You bait an ace with your level 4 or 5, it gets trashed, you followup with a free chimeramon that nets you memory from said ace digimon, play out an ace of your own or otherwise fill up your board with shitmons and repeat.

Superior Mode has no access to Rush or SA+1 in Hero and has very limited access in Hunters so if you want him to come out swinging he either has to digivolve from something already on field/in raising, go level 3>BT11 Arresterdramon>Superior Mode in Hunters, or Takuya>anything>Superior Mode in Hero.

Kimeramon does have the option of evolving from a level 4 played dying SkullGreymon for only 3 with Meat in addition to just Assembly-ing for 3, and it has access to its own keyword soup like Hunters does including both Raid and Piercing like Superior Mode has.

Also, materials used for reducing evo cost with Hunters are mostly lost when Superior Mode is removed by any means, whereas materials used for Assembly go right back to a zone where they can be used again immediately no matter how Kimeramon gets removed. They have to remove him AND ADDITIONALLY hit your trash with Paladin (or something else that doesn't see nearly as much play) to stop the next one.

You're missing the point. Arresterdramon Superior Mode is an objectively better card than Kimeramon. Arresterdramon is flexible, Kimeramon is exceptionally rigid. Arresterdramon is low commitment, Kimeramon is high commitment. Arresterdramon take advantage one of the most common blindspots in protected Digimon, Kimeramon can only use the weakest form of removal in the game.
Arresterdramon can practically do 2, 4, or even 6 swings in a single turn, Kimeramon can only ever do 2.
Kimeramon is a bad card. He has too many restrictions, he is way overcosted, and he is dreadfully underpowered.

Can I just say how disappointed I am that other than the cyborgs, none of the original V-pet 'mons got some love? This could have been the opportunity for a Nanimon or Etemon or Betamon SR or even AA. Instead almost all the original V-Pet 'mons are packfiller and it's looking like 17 of the 22 AA in the V-Pet set will be... not V-Pet (at least not originals). There's still some utility for GoldNumemon in a Numemon deck. The big thing is that you can still go into PlatinumNumemon if you pass 0 memory going into GoldNumemon, which obviously you wouldn't if you digivolved into Monzaemon.
