Diablo 3 can be an inspiration on resource mechanics. You build, you expend, you build again. There might be benefits to staying at maximum or minimum of whatever it is you are working with, but cycling through tends to work best.

Dryad Quest has the player character outright count amounts of quality of shots she takes in all of her holes, for example. Might be useful for a succubus themed system / class.

For my actual gameplay, stuck in journaling hell, converting play notes into writefaggotry. Still fun; since my human thief has left the elven capital in search of riches, returning to the ruins where he rescured an elf noblewoman captured by orcs that so happens to be over a dungeon, he has entered the dungeon only to meet with goblins. One of them spoke the same "common", and since they weren't hostile and were drinking, the thief sat down with them, broke bread and learned they were at war with a tribe of kobolds in the lower levels of the dungeon. He went to meet the goblins' chief, agreed to help them in exchange for treasure, and has been fighting both Kobolds and human treasure hunters (bandits). In the dungeon's second level, he met by chance one of the Orcesses he had previously defeated and extracted an oath from to never draw steel against him again, searching for a treasure for her tribe in the depths. They've decided to work together, which is where I took a break. She's still upset with him for basically forcing her to swear she'll never try to beat him in combat, since my setting orcs are tribals, driven by honor but take oaths extremely seriously. Her attitude was described as "savvy" and "inconsistent" when I generated her, so I read her as a tsundere. There's also a language barrier between them, since she speaks Orcish and she's partially fluent in Goblin, and the thief speaks Common, full stop. Their communication the first time was through another Orcess who spoke Common, and this time to show the thief is working with the goblins the chief sent one of his women, an old, ugly-as-sin gobliness who speaks common and is acting as an interpreter for them. I'm excited to get back into their situation, but housekeeping my notes comes first.

Currently starting a whole new solo campaign because I'm tired of fiddling with formatting of my notes on my computer. So what I've done is buy a binder with a zipper so I can just play analogue with physical paper and maps, and instead of using AI constantly to generate images, I'll draw things (Like I used to when I was a kid.) I don't know how viable this might be for an RPG (so far I've only been doing worldbuilding and writing with the setting I got out of this), but here's the method I've been trying:

it's nice because it implies two religious denominations, one that's benevolent but fallen on the wayside and another that's growing rapidly but is basically just corrupt nightmare sexland. transformation's a big part of My Shit too and the financial struggle to get those transformations removed before you lose your mind to them is more or less the "core loop" and loss condition as opposed to just dying, which is pretty much a nonissue. instead if a character is killed while transformed, resurrection is pretty available, but the mind has always been damaged by such things and it just accelerates that loss condition rather than being the end right there

thematically it's pretty fucking dark I guess, and it's definitely one of those settings I kind of just play one character in for a while until they lose. but I keep my oracles and general tone of things pretty light in play

Hardest part has been curating material to take along. Printed out a few spare character sheets, a collection of random tables, and the random dungeon generator from the D&D adventure game from the late 90s.

I am! I've been playing around with it a little bit as I can, although there haven't been any real major changes I've made since the third iteration. Of note, I expanded the descriptions and options for End States, mostly dealing with Willpower hitting 0 (So fucking them / getting fucked silly), but it's mostly flavor, as pictured.

The "big" problem I'm looking at is I want to add a stages system; I got some feedback that characters jumping right to penetration can be jarring, so I've been testing out having a First Stage, Second Stage, where certain actions are limited until you've done enough damage to their Endurance/Willpower (so no penetration until they've been buttered up/tired out), or separating it into two instances of the game played back-to-back where succeeding during the first match with limited, over-the-shirt actions (Foreplay, Sweet nothings) gives bonuses to make the second match (the deed itself) more likely to succeed as well. It's till very work-in-progress though, more so an ideas thing to fix a narrative incongruence. Another idea I had was that you could just do Foreplay and SN, but every failure does Endurance Damage; you aren't tiring them out, you're literally putting them to sleep with bad performance (but it came off as a little bland).

Also been thinking about adding more content for female PCs, both for straight and sapphic options, but that's a whole other can of worms and I fell down a rabbit hole in my own game about languages that kept me locked down for like three weeks.

So, as an example:
Jane picks up Psionics (Telepathy) powers at level 3 and buys 6 ranks into it to send lewd thoughts into her party member's minds directly. She has +2 WIS giving her a total of +8 modifier; meaning she has 8 PP to spare. In order to actually use psionics she has to meditate for 8 hours to become focused for the first time, taking up 31 ML from her total limit. For the next 24 hours she can use any Psionic (Telepathy) power that costs 8 PP or less, no need to learn or prepare spells in advance. If she fails to mediate for 1 hour after the initial 8 hour buy in, or chooses to spend 1 hour clearing her mind at any time while focused; she stops being psionically focused, frees up her ML and no longer can use any psionic powers.

Also an Ops and Tactics question, for extremity damage it reads similarly to bleed damage but instead of being prevented if you have armor against the type, it says it's prevented if you have armor in general. Is that the case or was it just a mistake in the writing? Also, when you take extremity damage is it one for one like, take 3 extremity damage and you have 3 damage or more like bleeding where taking 3 damage equates to 1 bleed damage. I'd assume it's 1 to 1, but the rule is written similarly to how bleed damage is written so I'm just wanting to make sure.

Extremity damage is a threshold per limb/location, if you have appropriate armor DR on the location at all you prevent the crippling damage from happening, it is written a bit weird because it used to be that 3 points of damage at all, even through armor, would cripple the limb.

So how it's supposed to work:
Jane has armor that provides 10 DR ballistic and buys protectors to cover all her limbs. Someone shoots her with a gun in the leg and deals 13 damage. Armor reduces damage by 10, subtract 10 AP from the armor and she suffers 3 damage to her HP track (XHP on a regular hit/if she has any remaining, CHP on a critical/she no longer has XHP).

On the next turn, an opponent with a light club runs up to her and swings at the same leg twice, both hits land. The first hit deals 2 damage and because it's less than 3 damage in a single attack her limb remains uncrippled and she only suffers 2 damage to her HP track.

The next hit deals 5 damage, and because that second hit dealt 3 or more damage in one hit, and she's not wearing appropriate armor on the limb, her leg is crippled by the second blow and she suffers the penalty for having a crippled leg until it heals.

A further note: If Jane had a feat, augmentation or racial ability (such as Defensive Martial Arts) that reduces bludgeoning damage, but did not count as armor; this can reduce the reduce the damage below the threshold and lead to her limb staying in tact. The only thing that matters is whether or not the final damage is 3 or more, the same applies to bleeding damage.

Nope. That's the benefit of playing a psion; they have ready access to a huge array of powers at will. The downsides is compared to a mage or even an incanter, they're far less flexible and have less utility to work with.

You'd be surprised actually, simple weapons can absolutely put in work. Even if she is denied her psionic powers from being unable to meditate. Another note, she could also suffer ML damage; normally this is a comedown effect of drugs or the entire point of neural inhibitors, but it could easily be the side effect of an aphrodisiac gas or lust provoking spell. If your girl goes below the amount required to reserve when focused she'll also lose access to her psionics, just like if she failed to meditate or cleared her ML manually.

There is no minimum PP/IP/SP, for psionics this doesn't really matter as the cost reduction feats are functionally a skill increase; but it matters a lot more for incanters and mages.

All cost reduction feats reduce the final cost of the ability/spell. So if you have fireball (5 PP) with the increase damage (4 PP) enhancement the normal total would be 9 PP, then you simply subtract the reduction from the feat, in your case it would cost 8 PP total. The feats also stack and do not replace the previous feat; this is a general rule in the game that all things stack unless explicitly stated otherwise.

More or less, remember hitting an arm or leg is the easiest shot and it's a whopping -6 to hit, account for AGI, armor DEF (armor DEF always applies even if the limb is unprotected by protectors), cover if applicable, movement and feats and it's usually a pretty big gamble to hit the arm or leg unless you've got a big advantage through flanking; never mind hitting something like the head or hands. The big thing is the potential to skip armor if they don't have protectors.

critical strikes do NOT bypass armor. That's actually something I had come up in my games before and asked to get changed, when a player got random crit, max damage rolled and nearly one shot even through heavy armor. Large Tentacle Mass

For the purposes of Called Shot attacks, a Tentacle Mass’ extremities do not count as being protected by its natural armor.

Blindsight
A Tentacle Mass can ascertain all creatures and objects within 90 feet just as a creature with sight would. Beyond that range, all targets have total concealment with respect to the Tentacle Mass’ use of this ability.

Improved Grab
To use this ability, a Tentacle Mass must hit with its tentacle attack. It can then attempt to start a grapple without provoking an Attack of Opportunity.

Aphrodisiac Mist
A Tentacle Mass can release a spray of pink mist to cloud the mind and affect the judgement of it’s prey. Once every 1d8 rounds, for 4 Combat Points, a Tentacle Mass can release a spray of mist in a 5’ foot radius originating from a tentacle. Any creature within the mist spray must succeed on a Fortitude Saving Throw or become Inebriated; additional Fortitude Saving Throws must be made every time a creature is exposed to the mist to avoid becoming Inebriated. The Saving Throw TN is equal to (10 + ½ the Tentacle Mass’ Hit Dice + its Constitution modifier). Once an affected creature is removed and no longer exposed to the mist, the effect wears off in 1d4 minutes. A mist spray disperses naturally after 1d4 rounds. The mist penetrates skin, orifices, breathe etc and a creature must be vacuum sealed to not be affected. A Tentacle Mass is immune to its own mist and the mist of other tentacle creatures.

A Tentacle Mass is able to sense the presence and location of any creature affected by an Aphrodisiac Mist (even from another Tentacle Mass) within 30ft., 60ft. if downwind or 90ft if the scent is particularly strong. And this power costs 5 CP so we can do this 3 times a turn?

Some time ago an anon wrote of his Starsworn campaign about a pilot and his maidbot sidekick. I ended up liking the premise so much that I shamelessly copied it to start my own campaign. Against my initial fear, it's extremely fun and even a little kino.

First vow was about escorting a smuggler's ship to a nearby system through mostly uncharted space. Hilarity ensued when our hero's attempts to gain momentum by fucking his protocol gynoid were always interrupted by bullshit, from rumbling and noisy ships in the port to space storms shaking up his own ship's systems and forcing desperate dice rolls. The challenge was initially a little more than what I expected, but pretty manegeable still.

The real highlight however was the final challenge: Just two boxes away from the objective I get an oracle result that implies enemies hiding in the nearby meteor dustcloud. Rolling with it, I generate a new npc to pilot the enemy ship: Get an athletic, demanding, boisterous bitch, surprisingly with no wrangling from my part. Obviously she demands the cargo our hero is escorting, a demand he won't accept, yet still I roll compell to flirt with the pirate. I get a strong hit.

Two options: My character has such a game that she stands down, or she enjoys the flirting and the banter but still attacks because crazy pirate bitch. I went for the second and oh boy: I rolled either too well or too bad, no in-betweens. Not wanting to waste the character, I make pirate bitch escape in a pod, and to make it interesting I attempt the "forge a connection" move with her, hoping to get a friendly rivalry out of it. Tying it back to the hero's backstory, she reveals herself to be the daughter and heir of one of the space-nobles that caused my character to be in exile, all while promising vengeance and bloody murder next time they meet.

To close all of this, after wraping things up and re-reading the obsidian notes, I realized that the earlier "compell"/flirt move also got matching dice, meaning I am sitting on yet another potencial twist. No idea what it might be however, so I am accepting suggestions.

Can't say much about the slavery and mind break part, but unless you want to track each individual girl's monthly cycle you'll want some flavor of rolling a percentile or using a normal check for whatever system you're playing.

I use a d% based on modifiers for character fertility based off their Constitution stat; but you can probably make it a flat 50/50 if you want something really basic (or even say that any sex at all results in a pregnancy)
