If you ST Final Form and someone STs Bringing
an End do they immediately take control of you? Also if you only have the normal version of it does someone who STs Bringing an End ntr your Endbringer away from you?
Additional question, if two people ST Bringing an End do they have joint custody, split them or does one of them get all the Endbringers while the other guy gets nothing?

Heroes and Villains should swap their bonuses because Spider-Man is a drawbackfag build that consistently defeats enemies stronger than him, all thanks to strategy or immense rage.

Ryan is a textbook new-age villain; no style, no fanfare, completely remorseless and uninterested in playing the game of cops and robbers. Murder, rape, theft, nothing is above him as long as the crimes in question are perptuated against those dirty minorities that shat on the streets of his beloved city for far too long. There's no doubt that his beliefs are just an excuse for him to take violence against whoever annoys him at the moment, and his humanity steadily wanes in favour of taking on greater challenges.
After he and a couple of fellow gang members took over the docks during a brutal brawl with the nigger menace, they've been planning their attack on the new kids in town, who singlehandedly fucked up Protectorate forces and put the city under a military-enforced quarantine. Once they'll gather their forces and cleanse the city from niggers, jews, spics and gooks, things will go back to normal. . . nevermind the fact that food's running out and the government has shut off water supply 2 weeks ago.
Ryan's powers make him a classic Brute- he gets stronger as he fights, and has a very hard time dying, and often ambushes his targets to hit them even harder with the backup kinetic energy. He's the disposable shocktrooper of the gang and doesn't mind the fact.
We should have come up with a drinking game beforehand. Oh well

Ostensibly one of the leaders of the hero rebellion, but in truth she's just a figurehead with a useful power and way in over her head. She tries to make the best of the situation, even being a bit glad that her powers slowly kill her own emotions. Without that, the fear and anxiety would surely eat her up. Sometimes she turns her power on when she doesn't need too, even knowing that it's eating away at her body in exchange. When her emotions come back she's torn. On one hand she wants to protect her home and return it to normal. On the other hand, she wants to run away and never look back. To the average observer, she seems like a regular, sickly office drone, too anxious to ever let her guard down in a city like this.
Her power is that of a "martial arts teacher". It grants her superhuman physicality and skill, along with the ability to impart those traits to others... temporarily. Her powers wane over time and need to be constantly re-applied. To get the most out of her power, she'd need to be there in person to support her students, but the resistance rarely wants to risk a force multiplier like her if they can help it. The enhancements from her power work better if paired with actual training, but simply being near her enough to get some benefits.
If forced into combat she does her best to kill off her emotions and ignore the pain wracking her body, letting her appear to be the leader the rebellion wants her to be.

To the public and the PRT, Andrenne Bennett is another eccentric in a lab coat, a scatterbrained, vaguely unsettling Tinker who talks to her tools and forgets what day it is. Sheโs โmostly harmless,โ they say. A little too clever to be let off the leash, but reliable in her field: designing modular perimeter fortifications, distortion-based hardlight fences, and spectrum-sensitive tripfields that flicker between the visual, auditory, and microwave bands. To put it simply, her Tinker specialization seems broad and technobabble-heavy at first glance. But its really just about adaptability. She dissects other Tinkersโ blueprints with ease, emulating their tech inside her own wavelength logic.
In truth, the forgetfulness is an act. The quirks, a mask. Andrenne works for Cauldron as one of their engineers, trusted to quietly build the stage for one of their most dangerous gambles yet. She isnโt just heading the zoneโs outer security. Sheโs building the stage for what's basically a Kodoku ritual, reimagined through the lens of power science, where parahumans act as components for further conflict.

Hannah is a bodyguard in the employ of the DFEZ, assigned to protect important assets such as Mr. Palon. Her hairs are worn like clothing, constantly wriggling and floating around her in anticipation of an attack that they will need to halt. Normally, she also shapes it into a glossy black mask over her face. From the tips of her individual hairs, Hannah can launch hair-thin beams of golden light that can pierce anything. She can't spam the beams from every hair, only one beam can exist at one time, and they linger for about a second before vanishing so that she can shoot a new one.
Hannah is concerned primarily with maintaining her comfortable lifestyle. She resents the quarantine immensely, and despite how drunk on power many of the higher-ups in the DFEZ are, she would very much like to garrote whoever she needs to to break the quarantine. She was drinking buddies with Ellen Bainsbridge before the quarantine, and regularly feeds her old friend in the resistance information on other groups. She will not betray the company or break her NDA, however.

A stranger who comes from afar...
Hailing from an alternate earth, now dubbed Earth Malkuth, a brief intersection between the worlds from unknown forces brought him and some of his people into the city with a flash of light and the roar of thunder. Now, a towering temple scrawling towards the sky lies between city blocks, with the original buildings randomly intersecting throughout its rooms, serving as the only proof of the king he was. His entrance to this new world, to put it simply, severely lacked hospitality, as he was besieged by plunderers looking to claim the opulent ruins for themselves. Unknowing that what came with it was a king who was more than capable of bearing arms against these insolent intruders.
It was then he established his presence in full force, raising armies and towers of stone, a new kingdom of Kuhestan. He was quickly labeled a threat, officially deemed a Master/Shaker 7. While it didn't seem like some of the existing citizens of this world were particularly pleased with this development, it seems that there were a few who flocked to his grand palace walls in search of security away from the war and strife that plagued these lands. It wasn't his intention to stay awhile, but he judged that further marches into a mysterious territory would likely bring further conflict. Although he would want nothing more than to go back to his homeworld as the security of his true kingdom hangs in the balance, it seems that his only option is to bide his time and maintain control of the current situation until a true solution is found for his predicament.

Derek Catlow was born inside the quarantine zone and never left. His trigger event came early and violent, but rather than go solo, he built something: a gang that answered to him. The gang is called Redline.
Despite his best efforts, thereโs something about Derek, be it his posture, the way he talks when he forgets to act, the look in his eyes... that makes people assume heโs better than he is. Like heโs got a code, or like heโs trying to do right. Makes him seem more of a noble delinquent. He keeps catching himself giving mercy he swears he doesnโt believe in. Pulling his punches. Turning his back instead of finishing it. Thatโs not what a warlord does. Thatโs not how you rule a gang in a dying city. Right?
He hates that. Itโs not the image he wants. So he overcorrects. Loud mouth. Hard stare. Quick fists. He leans into being crass, aggressive, mean. Tries to feel like the outlaw he pretends to be.
His powers made him the perfect courier. But what really sets him apart is the infrastructure: a wide, well-oiled network of non-powered gang members that he coordinates like a living postal system. Weapons, drugs, information... if it needs to move through the dead city, Derek gets it there. Fast.
His power grants him a baseline enhanced physique and endless stamina, along with a normal speed faster that that of sound. It's upper limits are still unknown.
>>95842015I have a weak spot for kind delinquent characters. Though him trying to deny being one so vehemently is sad.

Once, a boy dreamed of a better world. And he sought to make that dream real.
To achieve his dreams, he became the strongest hero the world has seen. And more than that, he became an embodiment of a universal symbol that all of humanity bands behind.
Hope.
An otherwise unremarkable office clerk, Jonah Hopper became an overnight sensation after a small demonstration of his newfound strength, catapulting him to stardom. Despite this, he had never forgotten about his humble beginnings and has done everything within his power to make the world a better place. The Hopeman was the last thing standing between civilisations and the giant monsters that sought to destroy it. He would defeat all the bad guys with just one punch.
Unfortunately, during one of his routine clashes with one of his worst enemies, Golden Skull, he was infected with a special strain of cancer designed to grant him a slow and painful death by a reach of a disease. His enemies had won; with every day, Hopeman is growing weaker, his powers rebelling against his inaction. But even as he crumbles, he refuses to give up. Today, he'll make a difference one last time.

>>95842806Biography:
The now monstrous Villain Salamander was once an exceptionally talented and ingenious Anthropologist and Paleontologist, who made the mistake of dedicating his lifeโs work to the mythological, historical, and biological evidence of the legendary Dragons of old. Though before the advent of Shards, such things got him laughed out of any serious scientific discussion, a constant rejection which left him only with serious depression and smoldering rage that would soon turn into a boundless inferno.
One day, it was too much. He went to the highest building that his middling scientific โstreet credโ could get him, and jumped. As he went tumbling down the many floors of the building, in all but an instant his pathetic mortal form burned away as he descended as a flaming meteor to the city ground below. He was reborn, not as a phoenix to bring wisdom and healing, but a Dragon. A symbol of power and destruction. His mind was shattered with his newfound power. The only things left were his extensive knowledge on medieval dragons that he believed to be instinctual memory, and the metaphorical urge to burn down every bridge in his life warped into crazed pyromania.
He now acts like a โstereotypicalโ dragon from medieval times, dive bombing in a flaming meteor and burning everything in sight to the ground in search of something shiny, interesting, and of course fireproof to steal for his ever-expanding Hoard. After heโs satisfied with his rampaging, he flies off into the night with his chosen item in his talons to do it again some days, weeks, or even entire months later.
Even with his relative seniority heโs never been seen working with other Villains. Though there are rumors he has been seen attending the most important meetings in the shadows, theorized to be the only time he speaks outside of the usual animalistic roars and growling. but those are just conspiracy theories and have no proof.
>>95842783I don't really know but most of the original groups anons have made only came about after the quarantine was established and the E88 build blamed this on some "new kids in town" who "singlehandedly fucked up Protectorate forces and put the city under a military-enforced quarantine" and according to
>>95842015 the quarantine has at least been going on for long enough for people to have been born and grow up there. So whichever group is responsible should be capable of removing the Protectorate from the city, motivated to do so, and capable of keeping the city from falling apart for years after even with multiple villain groups emerging.
>>95842818Doesn't have to be all on one group either. Could put the blame on one group for being the ones who fucked things up, other groups could be responsible for taking advantage of it and leveraging it into making a villain controlled city, and others who'd want to ensure that it doesn't completely collapse.
>>95842818>>95842845It would be kinda funny if someone fucked up the Protectorate by chance and the villains and gangs just took advantage of that. Now it's been so long nobody remembers the truth.
>>95842845>>95842818nta, but also it could be bias due to incomplete information. I think another part of the setting was that cauldron was letting this happen as part of an experiment, so the villains don't need to be all-powerful or omni-competent. They just needed to be strong enough to take advantage of an artificial state of weakness, and smart enough to manage a city that was essentially left for them to rule over. Who knows, the glowies might even be course correcting in secret to make sure the city doesn't just die to famine or something.
Someone make a cool gang for my edgy villain to join please

>Power DescriptionEvery Parahuman is a loaded weapon, and Lorenzo can copy their blueprints.
Assembling the gun: To copy a parahuman, he needs to observe a target and figure out what they can do. They don't need to be using their powers, nor do the powers need to be visible/physically evident. He just needs vision and a theory.
Loading the bullets: Depending on the amount of information obtained, Lorenzo gains uses for his parahuman gun. Figuring out the basics of a power nets him a single bullet. Understanding it as much as the user nets him around half a dozen bullets. His current limit is six weapons, each with a maximum of six uses. Any more of either will make his brain feel fuzzy and his nose start to bleed.
Pulling the trigger: Lorenzo can hold onto his weapons for as long as he wants. However, he cannot wield multiple of them at the same time, having to swap between them. Once all bullets are exhausted, he must assemble the gun again. If he dies while holding a weapon, he will return to life in exchange for losing the grip. What that means is that he can't copy the parahuman he died with ever again.
>>95843118I forgot it existed.
Thanks, anon!
>>95843133>making a big playerCould I interest you in making a deal?
>>95843145>BackstoryLorenzo was a journalist for The Tribune, a local newspaper that had seen better days. Years of reporting on corruption, crime, and the slow decay of human life had left him gloomy, a little quiet, though not entirely cynical. The attack on the city changed that.
He couldn't remember if it started with a bank robbery or a gang war, but suddenly there were more parahumans spilling into the streets than he'd seen in his entire life. Like the rest of his colleagues, he fled when the collateral damage threatened to spill into his office, but in an instant, the people ahead of him were culled. Lorenzo couldn't even see the villain's power. He only reacted, ducking into a ruined storefront, heart pounding in his throat.
He stood there shaking as the sounds of carnage rang everywhere, until his instincts as a journalist took over. Seek the truth. Figure out their power. Find an opening. He peeked around the corner, eyes trying to make sense of the strange abilities, and his vision blurred, head ringing as if a bullet had been fired right next to his temple. Before he could use his newly-triggered powers, a chunk of rubble struck him from above, knocking him out.
He woke up in a shelter, head throbbing, bandages wrapped around his skull. A hero had saved him, and he soon learned that the city had been deemed a lost cause. The government quarantined it, leaving only those too stubborn or too villainous to flee.
Lorenzo could have left. He should have left. But the people here needed a witness to their struggle. And the people outside needed to know the truth. Now, Tribune, as he introduces himself to those he interviews, walks the ruins with a voice recorder in one hand and a notebook in the other, documenting everyday life in hell.
Man I forgot how early on this tier list was. There are barely any waifus here.

>>95843031I'd offer Wonderland since the Machine is only one of like 3 builds that would be resistant to Nightmare's schtick (but I'm not sure how sapient the Machine is so the benefit of that might be a moot point) and it would make the mooks freaks physically as well as mentally, but I didn't buy Secret Lair so starting out with a super base might be a bit much. Desc:
Lanna was your stereotypical popular bitch. All the teachers would take her side instead of yours, and every adult seemed to treat her with more respect than she deserves. Her grades weree suspiciously high from a combination of people doing her homewok for her and the teachers liking her so much. Infact very few people have anything mean to say about her in public.
In other words she was the closest thing to a villain in the normal world. Then she got her powers during a frat party that got a little too horror movie for her liking and suddenly everything was so much better. Everyone loves her and wants to do whatever they can to make her happy. It would have been her perfect meteoric ascension if she hadn't been shunted through a portal by Cauldron and discarded here in this backwater irrelevent reality.
>>95843286She quickly decided not to bother with trying to live a normal life and instead got involved in full time villainy and ultimately became a supervillain - Joining up with the local Slaughterhouse equivalent under her moniker Queen Anne and before long with her help they had taken over an entire city so thoroughly that the entire place was declared a quarantine zone. Nobody visits willingly and damn sure nobody ever leaves. Suddenly her power is once again letting her live the perfect life - This time with a crown atop her head.
She has taken over the theatre district and has 'Guards' that patrol the place and everything. Providing a sort of bastardized safety to those who pay her tribute. Getting invited to her parties or even better having her attend one of your parties is how you know you've truly made it in the city.
[Alraune]
A sickly sweet scent that clouds the mind and makes you protect your love.
Being around the Queen causes feelings of love to take hold in even the coldest hearts, but only prolonged exposure can render one unable to see her done harm. The more of her lovers that surround her, the more powerful she is and Injuries dealt to her are instead absorbed by her willing meatshields.
Meeting her gaze, physical contact, and whispered words can all cause you to fall deeper under her spell. You must exercise great caution lest you forget she was your enemy to begin with and gladly bare your weakpoints for her to strike.
You cannot build up a resistance to the effects, but various things can make the effects slower. The most obvious being not finding her sexually/romantically attractive to begin with, or having a clear mind or strong morals. And as long as you stay away from her for a while you can clear your mind of her influence... Those that are farthest gone however may take days or even weeks away from her to break from the bond.
Endbringer targets have been marked to partake in one of Sloan's films.

This warped perception of time has affected his circadian rhythm, effectively eliminating his need to sleep as he never thinks the day is over. He still has the need to eat, his meals consist of snacks throughout his day. Always seeks out to make things "interesting", causing conflict between any cape groups involved. A small afterimage effect can be seen around him, making it seem as though he is creating a small blur with every movement. This effect dissipates and reappears periodically.

Time is meaningless to him. Or at least, it was. After opening the same door to a different room over and over again, he was seriously starting to be concerned about going insane. But as they say, when one door closes, another one opens, so he took a step into the wardrobe and came out a new man. Actually, scratch that, it was a new world, still same old self. If he thought time had little hold over him before, its lost whatever grip it had left. Could've given him abandonment issues with the way it dumped him, but its better to celebrate being unshackled then to mourn a relationship that'd never work out. A little bit of working on himself renewed his confidence to really stick how much he didn't need them around. Look like this timeless dog can learn some new tricks. Now not only able to leap across time like he's walking into another room, he's able to choose exactly how far he wants to travel. Always has to be looking forward however, if he was so keen on keeping himself in the past, he wouldn't have shown up here at all. Doesn't help that his other selves have unionized and won't bother helping out unless it benefits them, selfish pricks. Guess if you want something done right, you'll have to do it yourself. He won't feel sorry for those guys when they have to deal with injuries a week for now. Far bolder with displays of power, especially when it comes to the disconnect from the flow of things.
The quarantine is serving as a useful distraction, both for himself and the capes who think about pursuing him. Who in their right mind would try and risk their neck in a place that'd likely kill them alongside the target they're after? A man who puts himself in a cage isn't the one who's trapped however. In his perspective, its them behind bars. But enough waxing and waning about the odds and ends and the is or isn't, its high time to get this party started.

>BioToshiko isn't much of a team player; she usually drifts between jobs with little she won't do for the right price. That changed when she received a 'special' commission that required more manpower than usual. She agreed, got some people together, and faithfully carried out her orders. After that, she should've had enough to make a clean break, but things escalated past what she expected. It felt like everything decided to give at once. It felt deliberate. Even so, it was none of her concern. The HOSV designation was inconvenient, but packing her bags and skipping town was an easy choice for someone like her. The real problem came when she realized that her family didn't seem to have any intention of evacuating. She should've left them. After all, they would've only weighed her down anyway. She should've, but she didn't.
>>95843923She stayed to keep them safe, kept the group she'd organized together, and eventually, she received another special commission from the same client. Now that the fire was burning, they wanted her to maintain. Stoke the flames when necessary, snuff out stray embers, and create controlled chaos. With few options, she agreed. For obvious reasons, she has a fair amount of freedom in how she does this but is given specific assignments from time to time. She mainly concerns herself with maintaining some order so that neither she nor the people close to her starve. Paranoia has driven her to spend more time than she ever did before with her family despite how busy she is, and the burden of running a gang has caused her to fade from the front lines of conflict increasingly.
In some ways, she has gotten her clean break, and her mind has felt clearer the more she fades into the background. A large part of why she wanted to escape from everything was because of the way she became more and more detached from herself. She wasn't living like Toshiko but was toying with the concept of Toshiko. Unfortunately, her shard has come to despise her for this pseudo-retirement. When she does use her powers, they feel more finicky, as if her being might unravel. Even when she doesn't use them, she seems to "glitch." They are pretty useful, though. Simply put, she is able to displace herself and her actions. This allows her to be in many places at once and the actions she takes at one point in space to take effect in another. Beyond this, she is also capable of layering and delaying her actions.
>>95843930Toshiko is a woman primarily concerned with what benefits her. She's not a demented serial killer, but she's far from a saint, even if her shard thinks she's gone soft. She'll still put her hand through someone's chest without a second thought if they get in her way, and the main reason she doesn't overtly break too many rules is that getting sent to the Birdcage or receiving a Kill Order would be a greater inconvenience than her current situation. At the same time, she really has mellowed out a good bit. While most people have had to adjust to a new normal, she's enjoyed engaging in entirely mundane activities she never cared for before: driving her sister to school, helping at her mother's shop, and even some attempts at getting involved in the community in a way that doesn't involve protection money. It's all made her understand a little more why secret identities are generally respected. Still, she's ruthless in operating the Black Hand. It's not their peace she's trying to protect; it's her own, and for that, she'll trample the rules if she has to.

>>95843885>>95843902Her thing is that she attacks you where you were last week, not where you are right now. So if she's fighting that close-up something has gone wrong.

- In other words she's really hard to kill for real but good at faking being dead.
Many of the villains ruling this hellhole have their own enforcers. They get beat up, they die, and there's a new one next week taking the exact same spot. Nobody really thinks too much about them - Whether they hvae a family or kids or a life and that's the point. They just are some shardless schmuck that dies.
Except they don't really die that often. And there aren't as many as people think. Cauldron has gone to great lengths to embed an agent in the city who can handle this important role. Nearly impossible to kill and a skilled combatant to the point they can put up a token resistance before 'dying' and returning home with all the gathered intel about whoever they were working for or whoever they were fighting.
She's a what goes bump in the night to a lot of other field agents, the things she has accomplished and endured are terrifying. But was that ever really her? She's simply sitting at home relaxing and playing videogames and reading books and going out to meet friends. Life goes on nomatter who is in charge and most people steer clear of trying to rob her. She does look tired though.
>>95844095Why would she even end up in a fight in the first place, the entire point of hindsight as a power is to know what the consequences of your actions are, and having the future-clone lets her tell herself in the past before anything goes wrong.
>>95844145When my awesome blindspot build rapes her
>>95844106If you need a underling to make you look like a bigger deal than you actually are, I'm your gal.
Or if you want to go drinking I guess.
I work for a lot of people at once.
>>95844168What's that mean?
I just used my vial I get free ST's for as a conspirator. Is that some 'trick' ? It felt intended.
>>95844167For how much everyone takes it, its really overrated.
Theres not really that much to work with in terms of 'future sight' powers. I wonder if anyone is even gonna take a power that blindspot stops.
>>95844187Its an old complaint about people using the vial themself instead of making a second build to use it.

>>95844218See I have a ST Refinement blindspot that lets me not appear in future sight OR any deriviatives of future sight (anything that's not normal natural everyday sight).
That way you'll never see the rape coming.
>>95844270Future hearing victim

>>95844106Something amusing about the idea that half the mooks in the city are all one person just pretending to job in like 20 different outfits.
Cauldron gets all their intel first hand by this one agent getting beaten up cause people can't resist showing off.

Officially, she doesnโt exist. Valerie was scrubbed from records before she ever crossed the quarantine perimeter. A covert Cauldron asset, embedded with a quiet directive: disrupt the balance.
Inside the zone, things had gone still. Not safe, never safe, but predictable. Warlords ruled sections of the dead city with violent but measured hands, their uneasy truce holding just enough to slow the chaos. But Cauldron wanted chaos. The formation of power blocs wasnโt part of the long game. And at the center of that fragile order there's a blindspot, possibly the true power behind the zoneโs equilibrium. There's rumors about how the most influential villains in the zone have met said blindspot.
Valerieโs mission is to find it and destabilize everything around it. The best way to do that? Become a name. A warlord herself. Gain influence, shake the tree, and see what falls out.
Sheโs good at her job. Focused. Cold when she needs to be. But also inexperienced , so there's a small, unwelcome thought gnawing at her mind, doubts regarding her mission as an agent of disruption. Even if she understands it's for the greater good, going against peace doesn't sit completely right with her.
Also, while her power is indeed strong, she's easily plagued by debilitating thinker headaches if she uses it too much, something that could prove fatal in the zone.
I'll start working on a writefag later today

Anyway these builds aren't any more shit than usual. Golden Bat was one of the best Worm villain build we've ever had and he was practically a copy and paste. If anons watched more Superfriends we'd have better villains.

I miss early mha. I hope it does die so we can just make a completely fresh run

>>95843353Missed this somehow! Reading shortly.
>>95845815She gets mogged by 3 different blindspots . What could she do against a cyborg assassin with save reloads, a time traveling psychopath, and an mind controlling queen who can offload threats to her army? It'd be one thing to send a PTV agent into some dangerous area to take control of the situation, that makes sense... but why in the hell would they send them into a place that has their one weakness that's also supposed to be some pivotal power in the zone? It's like telling Superman to go and infiltrate a secret society that worships a giant shard of kryptonite.
>>95845852At least any mp already done. Is it just me or has cyoa production greatly decreased?

>>95845991What causes anxiety here?
>>95845906>Is it just me or has cyoa production greatly decreased? It mostly stayed the same in my opinion, at least when compared to when /mcyoag/ started. There's a lot more people making CYOAs if you can count reddit and all the other spaces we don't know about, but making them has become harder since each CYOA has to justify their existence by being better than what's currently on offer or else what's the point? The bar has been rising and it gets harder and harder to match that bar despite more people discovering and trying to make their own thing.
>>95846054Thats a fair point, though we will probably play whatever here so long as its fresh.
>>95846018basically what anon said but instead of frauding its the feeling of dread that my presence and the things i make are directly responsible for others not having enjoying themselves
>>95845924She does seem above street tier, and also a bit all over the place but not in the way intended. What exactly do you want to write with her? What sort of themes are you trying to explore with all the elements you've added in? And what exactly does she want to do in her perspective? I think we can try to focus two to three main points to give ourselves a tighter character to work with so it doesn't feel as lacking. Keeping things simple makes it easier to write for and explore.
>>95845884>It'd be one thing to send a PTV agent into some dangerous area to take control of the situation, that makes senseHer ability is too valuable to be wasted on shit like this, not to mention the cases where PtV got around blindspots by constructing models based on prediction. >>95846124Yeah I've seen the error of my ways. I'll repost the build next thread using stuff like destiny weaver for the precog vibe.
>>95846124>not to mention the cases where PtV got around blindspots by constructing models based on prediction.I don't see it working on Stalcka considering that she has her own precog powers which will naturally interfere with other precog powers working at the same time. Not only will she be working with a model only based on the original, the person the model is based on is actively working against any future that results in their demise/containment. Similarly, Paradox is a blindspot who can circumvent normal future predictions by being able to actually go back in time. Granted its only 5 minutes so theoretically could put him in some checkmate situation, but he still has other get out of jail cards with his other time stuff. Queen Anne is the least defended since she doesn't have anything that directly messes with possible futures, but could probably get someone into her court who has the capability to.
I do agree though, it's using the wrong tool for the wrong situation when sometimes all you need is a really big hammer.

>>95846162>not to mention the cases where PtV got around blindspots by constructing models based on prediction.Just swap to Hypothesis. You lose the ease of use of just asking a question since its now based entirely on your own knowledge rather than precognition offloading it all to your shard to take care of it, but you could compensate with other powers like Perfect Mind to make up for it, and that particular combination costs the same as base PTV. Any other info gathering power will also pair nicely to broaden the range that your powers can work without you actually needing to see it yourself.

Thank you previous anon for suggesting I bump up the power level a bit, that helped me get unstuck so easily it isnโt even funny.

>>95847179I try to write for every mp I engage in fir as long as possible. I would make something new, yes.
>>95847158I mentioned it a few threads back, but itโs a (currently heavily) WIP CYOA about fighting giant monsters with your own slightly smaller monster (see: 10 feet tall instead of 20). It was originally going to be a really low power level, to the point where I was questioning adding any kind of basic elemental stuff because that might be โtoo much,โ but after I ended up stuck with no ideas for four days straight I upped the power level a little. Iโm going for a sort of low-fantasy brothers in arms sort of thing, where your monster relies on you and you rely on it. Focusing on powers that bounce off of one another, like the human channeling electricity for the monster to use as teleportation or the monster helping the human fly miles into the air to dive bomb the opponent off its back. Stuff like that.
Iโve spent a week or so tweaking it. Iโm mostly just brainstorming stuff to add since Iโm really new to this (first CYOA Iโve ever made), Iโve barely even touched point totals or anything like that, but so far I think I have the skeleton of almost every single section in there at least slightly fleshed out.
I'm trying to type cohesive replies but I'm so tired.
>>95847270I do love low power. I look forward to checking it out anon
>>95847179I don't really like rerunning cyoas much. My ideal future is that we run MHA until 2-D graduates and in that timespan all its storyline come to closure. We get epilogues and all that. Then we move on to new OC cyoas. Maybe after a long break after that we can return to MHA, but I don't feel a need for that. I'd also prefer if the first MHA elements made at most cameo appearances in the new one.

As for the WIP CYOA, feel free to look over the dump I guess. I'm using a different link mostly because the old one had a lot of thread-specific complaining in it and I want to keep it the same for posterity.
Here's the rentry dump (note: little to no formatting involved):

>>95850920>They aren't really replying to each other's builds much eitherThat isn't something that normally happens at all unless someone decided to call your build shit or lust after it. I can count the number of times my build was just replied to for no reason on one hand.

>>95851385lol, not even a month. I'm as green as they get methinks. I've been trying to catch up, though. No fun spoiling everyone's fun by not knowing protocol haha.
>>95851479Feel free to ask away, especially during secret hours. There isn't much to understand though other than a few injokes from past events. Worm is a bit of a special case due to being one of the first MPs along side OR, while also being one of the first instances of long running MPs having over 200 characters or so. Some anons just want to relive that era of a single dominant MP, while others want something similarly long term to work on.
>>95851528I guess I'll ask whatever, though I really don't know what more I need to know. I guess what's the standard fare for most mps? I'm mainly doing HP right now and that one seems to have a lot of emphasis on the writing and interesting character concepts, but from what I can gather that isn't normal? Dunno, a lot of mps have like twice or thrice as many characters as they do writefags. Most don't seem to have many artfags or shitposts or anything like that either, which is odd. Granted, I'm going off of sparse archive skimming + One Piece, MHA, and MHBW since that's what I've been here for, as well as some previous experience with similar sorts of writing as a group, so maybe the standards are just a bit skewed due to that.
I kind of hope most MPs aren't just people dumping builds and then powerscaling. That seems like /cyoag/'s bread and butter, especially since that cesspool won't even post actual CYOAs anymore like they used to a year or two ago. I guess it depends on who's participating? Dunno.
>>95851592>I kind of hope most MPs aren't just people dumping builds and then powerscalingWe're currently just in ADHD season. Standard fare was usually a few months however with the leaner thread activity it seems people are in a hurry for short term dopamine to get a flood of initial builds, and when inevitably it wanes off people don't want to take their time before starting a brand new one which causes some to face burnout. It's just an unfortunate cycle at the moment.
MHA has had a long lifespan however, been going for well over 2 years at this point but that's an abnormality kept alive by a select few effortfags. Plenty of art and shitposts made for it, mostly by the same handful of anons. MP's can achieve a similar level of activity, although probably not going to beat the record of how long they stand against time, but currently it seems people are busier irl.
>>95851592NTA, but it's unfortunately a kinda dead time right now. I think if we get some genuinely good OC or just something that gets all the more active, good faith anons inspired at the same time, you'll get to see the kind of energy some of the past big MPs got. Lots of steady talk, writefags, memes, artfags, etc which draw the whole thread into having fun together.
>>95851592>what's the standard fare for most mps?Around 2 weeks to a month of chatting about stuff like potential scenarios, team ups, jokes, etc. Effortfags such as writing, edits, tier lists, and drawings were more of an exception before MHA started and made it the standard. It still is the standard now, but we're a bit on the slow side now, so outputs such as those can be a bit sparse.
>I kind of hope most MPs aren't just people dumping builds and then powerscalingI don't want to dissuade you since you're pretty cool but that's to be expected with this sort of thing. Whether they mean to or not, you're going to have a bunch of dumps no matter what. Some start participating when they see significant activity, others wait for inclusions or for the plot/premise to solidify so they know what to work on, other still want to get in early so they don't miss out when it does blow up. Powerscaling is mostly an easy way to have a conversation while waiting for stuff to happen, especially if it's more pvp focused. Talking about the MP, whether through mechanics or story is how we know something is "alive" and worth putting in the effort to contribute.
>>95851748I hope so. The way you describe it sounds a lot like my kind of thing, and very comfy in general. I hope that, if I get to finish my WIP, it ends up doing something like that for the general.
>>95851788>Around 2 weeks to a month of chatting about stuff like potential scenarios, team ups, jokes, etc. Effortfags such as writing, edits, tier lists, and drawings were more of an exception before MHA started and made it the standard. It still is the standard now, but we're a bit on the slow side now, so outputs such as those can be a bit sparse.Ah, this makes a lot of stuff make sense. Thank you! I'll keep it in mind. Honestly, I was thinking a month or so seemed right; I was very surprised when people started shouting protest within a week or so of HP taking off. The thread where anons tried to start like 3 MPs at once threw me way off, I had no clue what was going on haha. Just tried to keep my head down and do my own thing.
>I don't want to dissuade you since you're pretty cool but that's to be expected with this sort of thing. Whether they mean to or not, you're going to have a bunch of dumps no matter what.Nah, I know that much, I think it's expected. I'm just hoping it's not like 99% dumps and maybe 1% effort. HP honestly seems like a good balance, where something like 30% of the cast is relatively active while the remaining 70% is good fat for writefags.
>Powerscaling is mostly an easy way to have a conversation while waiting for stuff to happen, especially if it's more pvp focused.I guess, I've just always found it supremely boring. Huge reason why I kept dipping in and out of /cyoag/ even when I was super crazy for MPs 3-4 years ago. It's just playground-tier "no you"ing into oblivion most of the time, and when it isn't I just find it very unengaging. Maybe because I don't care much for pvp, dunno.
>[explanation of reasons that people might join an mp game]Thank you loads for this!
>>95851788It's worth noting that this community is small enough for one newfag to make a difference simply by taking the initiative to discuss other people's builds in a non-powerscaling context. I've actually made a mental note to do that more myself next time we get an MP that interests me, simply because I find prompts, while a helpful tool for writing about other people's characters, lacking when it comes to producing organic in-thread discussion on their own.
>>95851890agreed; this is why I try to review whatever writefags I end up reading
>>95851860Nta, I try to participate in all MPs, and I do try to write for it too, it's just been a bad time lately both personally and for the thread. Just be warned, no matter what there will be people calling an MP dead just because nobody talked about it for a couple of hours and the shitposters that try to sabotage MPs are real, if not as numerous as some would make you believe. I wanted to join worm because I liked last run and I think my character would make sense for a return, but the athmosphere is way worse than usual and the new thread devolved into powerscaling and optimization talk that has nothing to do with the MP so now I don't really feel like it anymore. There is also someone that wants to spite me in particular apparently but that's probably just random shitposting.
>>95851860Is it your first cyoa?
>>95851890I do try to comment on pompt responses.
>>95851860>even when I was super crazy for MPs 3-4 years agoAh, so you were in some pre-split MPs, just not here?
>>95851860Unrelated cos i rmb u mentioned few threads back tt u were in uni. shit sucks rn but i think its good to rmb tt it must end eventually. light at the end of the tunnel type sh. ngl in retrospect mcyoag wasnt the most optimal way to keep myself sane but wtv works kek
>>95851930First time making one, yep. I've been doing CYOAs on my own for about three or four years now, on-off. Also tried some jumpchain, and now I can say I've done a multiplayer too lol.
>>95851922>Just be warned, no matter what there will be people calling an MP dead just because nobody talked about it for a couple of hours and the shitposters that try to sabotage MPs are real, if not as numerous as some would make you believe.Yeah, I already picked up on that unfortunately. At this point I'm genuinely thinking it's an extremely dedicated autist or two; there are very specific times of day when these kinds of posts show up, and they go on for HOURS without end. Knowing 4chan, I'm completely certain that the thread has either attracted one of /tg/'s personal schizos or spawned one all of its own. The obsessives that this site spawns are really insane.
As for the dead thing: yeah, that's 4chan being 4chan I think. Given that it's the closest you can get to something like bait in this setting, it seemed fitting.
>I wanted to join worm because I liked last run and I think my character would make sense for a return, but the athmosphere is way worse than usual and the new thread devolved into powerscaling and optimization talk that has nothing to do with the MP so now I don't really feel like it anymore.yeah, I kind of wanted to give it a shot myself if only for the mythos surrounding it (I honestly don't like the actual CYOA, which is surprising since I'm sorta fond of capeslop) but whatever the fuck it's turned into has really put me off :(
>>95851951Nope, unfortunately not! I was there for the split, in that I saw it happen, but I never gave /mcyoag/ a look because I was very busy + in a bad place at the time and figured something like multiplayer CYOAs would only make it worse. In retrospect, I made the right call. I would have been insufferable holy shit lol.
>>95851970The first MP i've ever actually participated in has been Harry Potter, and I don't think I lurked much at all before. All I heard about it was bitter whispering from /cyoag/ after the whole shebang and maybe the occasional accidental crossover (eg I was doing a Jumpchain that involved the PMD CYOA at one point, someone posted Demon Eyes in /cyoag/ and I did that when it cropped up, etc.)
Oddly enough, I do have a one-off memory from when Demon Eyes was being played? It was like 2am or something and I just felt like lurking /mcyoag/ for some reason so I went, scrolled through some builds, didn't like the weebery, and left lol.
>>95851968yeah, no, this place is like my only relief right now. It's probably why I'm giving it 200% and doing loads and loads for it, even if the entire premise was originally a shitpost that I didn't pick up on because I am socially blind. That light at the end of the tunnel is coming very soon, thankfully. Thank you for the encouragement regardless lol.
>>95851898I try to do the same, though in this case I meant more asking anons directly about their characters, not in response to a writefag or in preparation for one I'm writing, but simply to see where the discussion goes. I think maybe we've systemized this whole MP thing in a way. I might also be crazy kek
>>95851947I do as well, but I also often read one that I'll walk away from viewing the character more favorably but without anything to really reply with. I think it's kinda like going to a party and everyone giving each other notecards about who they are and what's new in their lives. You could generate discussion from that, but you could also just ask what's up.
Not that I have an issue with prompts (I make use of them for writefags and reply to them about my own characters as well). I was just thinking recently about what it is I personally get the most out of MPs and what I could personally be doing to get more of that.
>>95851982Yea no worries... was j thinking tt id have benefited from sth like that when i was still in uni n grinding for mha kek. just a bit of a pick-me-up. costs u nth
>>95851860>The thread where anons tried to start like 3 MPs at once threw me way offThat used to happen pre-MHA, but the reason for doing it now is a bit different. When some anons start to see inactivity in one of the MPs, they try to jump and establish the MP they want. It's not a hard rule, but we can maybe sustain 3 or so MPs at a time, and that honeymoon period of the first week or two is what establishes the big players of the setting. It's usually best to hang back unless you're really interested in the concept they propose.
>I'm just hoping it's not like 99% dumps and maybe 1% effortI think 5 effortfags are enough to get any MP going since those outputs tend to invite other effortfags to join in or undump themselves.
>I've always found it supremely boringMost of the effortfags do too I think? At least most don't have the time to and writefags are how powerlevels are actually established.
>>95851890I've tried once or twice, but I'm mostly taking a backseat role for now to work on threadslaving and OC. If things cool down both IRL and in thread, I might try my hand again at chatting about characters with the current offering we have.
>>95851982Fun fact, I was there for most of the key events in mcyoag hystory, I just never participated in any of them. I was there for the split, OR, The birth of MHA, but back in the day I was just a lurker in everything.
>>95851994>I was just thinking recently about what it is I personally get the most out of MPs and what I could personally be doing to get more of that. Now that's an interesting question, one I have to reflect a lot more on before being able to give a coherent answer. I never really tought about it before, I just try to be active so as to make sure the MP isn't declared dead.
>>95851994>weve systemized this whole MP thing in a wayTRVTHNVKE. i rmb when ppl would reply as their builds kek
>>95851994>I was just thinking recently about what it is I personally get the most out of MPs and what I could personally be doing to get more of that.me too, quite a bit. Both because i'm new and want to gauge if I want to stick around for a while (as opposed to dipping in and out or leaving), and because whenever I find something new that I enjoy my first thought is usually to try and make it even better with a lot of effort and high spirits.
I agree on the prompt thing, but given how some of the earlier HP prompts went I think it might just be a matter of quality. A prompt that gets 1-3 very good answers (or poses a very good question) could start up several little discussions (see: battle style prompt, spare time prompt)... but those seem very few and far in between, and probably extremely hard to do consistently without being repetitive. I wonder what would start discussion without inviting spergs like powerscaling often does...
>>95852067>i rmb when ppl would reply as their builds kekOh god, Mystery Dungeons style? I'm having flashbacks man LMAO. Very glad that's been ground to a halt. Thank you /mcyoag/goers of the past.
>>95852084It was fresh n exciting in worm 1 and early mha (to the cyoag lurker that i was) but yea would def have gotten tiring if everyone insisted on doing it all the time. as is i think a couple ppl still do it. occasionally?
>>95852067In-character replies are a thing people liked about SC, they came back out of nowhere for that and just disappeared right after. I remember trying it a couple of times but I stopped for a couple of reasons, the first one is simply that I am not used to it so I naturally revert to normal replies if I don't think about it, the second one is that I suck at finding faceclaims so it would be hard to recognize who I am replying as. I had fun when it happened but I am pretty sure the other anon had no idea who I was supposed to be.
>>95852104Oh wow a brief renaissance. kino. i kinda dipped around sc so missed most of that. yea replying in character is fun to watch but def not as easy to pull off if ur the one posting as ur build
>>95852084>Mystery DungeonsWe had a brief run of that lately, but people didn't do it then I don't think, that is also a thing of the past. I still hope for a revival of that, but it's another one that causes irrational anger in anons despite the cyoa being made specifically for mcyoag.
>>95852118There was one anon in particular that made a character a vtuber that broke the 4th wall calling us chat and stuff, he started it and people just kinda kept up with it. It also caused a lot of shitposting but that goes for almost anything that gets attention these days.
>>95851970I've never made a cyoa, but I'd say to try to roll with the punches because you'll most likely get a bunch of negative feedback regardless of quality, and it can sometimes be hard to discern rudely phrased, useful criticism from the wailings of the miserable and never satisfied. Don't get in the way of others trying to help you imrpove, but don't satisfy your vision by letting some dumbass who's less creative than you convince you to cut the things that make your cyoa interesting.
>>95852144OH YEA i rmb that. dead salaryman just tryin to make money from simps kek. seemed amusing
>>95851008Missed this. i think it looks good but like another anon sed in the new thread not sure if the setting choice is useful if ur planning to use it for MP. tho we could just pick one setting out of the range n stick w it. otherwise i think the walls of text do make it abit harder to read than it otherwise would be + maybe good to start looking at point allocations now. do u still plan to add many more options
>>95852144>We had a brief run of that lately, but people didn't do it then I don't think, that is also a thing of the past.oh lol, I'm not talking about PMD. I'm talking about this ongoing TTRPG-like thing based off of it called The Mystery Dungeons. I think it came about shortly before /mcyoag/, on /vp/. I was there for its beginning, ironically *before* everyone started replying as their characters, and I think at some point the jannies forced it to move to /qst/ and when I drop in to see how they're doing from time to time I always see them namefagging as their characters. Just reminded me of that, is all.
Regarding PMD itself: I have forced myself not to suggest a rerun of it because, personally, it would be like lending a rabid dog a chicken leg. I am completely convinced I'd take it way more seriously than everyone else and end up isolated because I'd gotten too into it LMAO. Don't play Pokรฉmon kids, it kills your brain.
>it's another one that causes irrational anger in anons despite the cyoa being made specifically for mcyoag. Is it because it's "kid's stuff" like harry potter or does the cyoa have some murky history?
>>95852146See, I *would* do this, but the last two times I posted my WIP I actually got some incredibly useful and helpful feedback from the people here. Something tells me I'll need to wait a bit for that to happen again, unfortunately, but the feedback was genuinely so good that I'm willing to spend a month waiting if that's what it takes.
>>95852170>not sure if the setting choice is useful if ur planning to use it for MP.I'm making the cyoa *mostly* for this general, but I want to accommodate solo players. Additionally, i'm an alt-hist sperg and really like fictional magicky stuff being thrown into historical settings, so a lot of the time periods there are for personal satisfaction only. otherwise there'd probably be more medieval/futuristic stuff and less industrial revolution wank lol. Big reason why I haven't ditched them entirely.
>i think the walls of text do make it abit harder to read than it otherwise would belol, that's good! Means i've got lots of options. I keep thinking i have fewer than I really do and it nags at me. I promise they won't be walls when I actually make the CYOA, but keeping them bunched together helps me personally digest the categories a bit better so I'm leaving them as-is for my brainstorming doc.
>do u still plan to add many more optionsI am honestly not sure. I feel like I'm approaching the final roster here. I've got a suspicion that too many powers are solo things that don't combo well, but I'm simultaneously unsure of how much I want comboing to factor into powers (would I give up a cool idea for a lamer one that'd be better for combos? do I need every single power to play off of some kind of gear or opposite power? not sure unfortunately) so I think I need to work that out before being able to give you a clear answer unfortunately
>>95852146>but don't satisfy your vision by letting some dumbass who's less creative than you convince you to cut the things that make your cyoa interesting. How could you do this to me.
>>95852171Naw no murky history. my personal take is that the anons who played it are like u n are still pissed @ each other for some petty shit tt happened during the run
>>95852193>althist spergBASED BASED BASED BASED
>combosI think u dont need to think too hard about that. if theres one thing ive learnt in mcyoag its that anons can come up w some insane out of nowhere combos if given the motivation
>>95852171That stuff is still going? I was sure it died, they didn't do anything when I checked last, but then again my sense of time sucks so it may have been longer than I realize. Maybe they resurrected, I am almost tempted to participate, almost.
Depending on what you mean by "too serioulsy" you may not be alone. I take all MPs more seriously than the average anon at least. And if you mean number autism then you are also not alone, that is part of the setting at this point.
>Is it because it's "kid's stuff" like harry potter or does the cyoa have some murky history? No, there is no particular reason, that's why I called it irrational.
>>95852200>>95852228The running theory was that some of the less toxic shitposters just latched onto a relatively old MP and wanted to attribute every bad thing that happened as the fault of those that wanted to play that MP. That's why they picked a relatively lackluster MP. This theory seems to be at least somewhat true because now that we had a recent run the shitposting about it being all the fault of PMD is significantly less.
>>95852144I found that pretty cringe, but just because I find vtubers and streamers cringe. In-character replies can be fun. It's what made WGWL a lot of fun to me.
>>95852263Personally I think it was fun but overused. It was cool having a canon setup for builds to interact at a distance, and in-character replies can be cool, but it blew out of proportion. It was not all that anon's fault, it's just a concept that attracts shitposting. I find it quite ironic that the vtuber character attracted a toxic audience like a real one would.
>>95852223Dude, I've already come up with so many combos that I can believe you. But the brain craves more. INFINITE combo potential... I need it NOW........
nah, I get the point lol. I might look into capping it off soon honestly
>>95852228>That stuff is still going? I was sure it diedit seems to have a phoenix's lifespan. They posted a new thread like a week or two ago and it's still getting replies. I think it's definitely quieter than it was, and it looks very convoluted now, but it's definitely still chugging.
>Depending on what you mean by "too serioulsy" you may not be alone. I take all MPs more seriously than the average anon at least. I'm talking like tragic drama with little dinos seriously. I have a problem, I fucking love the setting to bits and I keep thinking up loads of different ways to wring drama out of it. As example: I once spent several years writing a tragedy about one of the multi-headed mon desperately trying not to evolve out of fear for what he'd become with multiple consciousnesses, finding a new purpose (including a love interest and a stable support network for the first time in his life) along the way, and then devolving into a rabid mess after evolving on accident. Mostly as a coping thing for a personal tragedy but uh I don't think normal people are supposed to use children's media franchises for that. I mean *serious serious,* like the kind that makes people give you weird looks. I'm less "serious" about it and more "passionate" but it's still enough that it usually drives people away.
Then again,
>pokemon fan>PMD fan no lessthat could probably have been gleaned lmao.
>>95852256Also very possible. Then again, pokemon fans are beyond unhinged so I was very willing to accept that it was actually some kind of huge falling-out for petty reasons too!
>>95852263I don't really remember a lot of in character stuff in WGWL. It was mostly just small like a few bits of dialogue before going into their plan for the turn. I might have just not noticed though cause I was too focused on trying to read map movements and locking in on the next course of action.
>>95852293>I'm talking like tragic drama with little dinos seriously.Well, it's the more fun of the two options, PMD has to be my favourite part of pokemon. You would have at least one anon willing to engage in your psychological drama in me, but probably quite a bit more if we go by the charactrers for last run. Take a look at it if you're curios, they are unexplored but they have the potential to be comparable if they were properly developed. Your story sounds interesting too. If we do have a new run I am going to bring back my character, I have the perfect excuse for it anyway.
>>95852320It ebbed and flowed over the course of the arena. There was a period where several anons were basically writing in-character letters to each other to establish shaky alliances and coordinate battle plans. Definitely some cool moments of anons doing some suboptimal stuff because it's what their characters would do too
>>95852379Theres still lotsa room in this bunker
>>95852379ikr? going to be a shame when this thread drops off the board :(
I just want something fresh man
>>95852388Sadly it will probably be gone by the time I wake up. Good night.
>>95852398Gn. i shd prolly go to bed too
>>95852394sorry anon, all we got are canned MP's and I think they've all got botulism. We're not going to survive the hard times.
I wonder what would happen if I just randomly posted something for an MP that isn't posted.
>>95852398>>95852403goodnight, sleep well anons

>>95852467I am as always in awe when this happens. But a full revival may be hard to do.
>>95852498Pretty much yeah. My character is uniquely suited for a return. The setting for last run however is also especially suited for a soft reset. I would be fine with either.
>>95852508Even with all our edge it still puts you to sleep?

>>95852549>The setting for last runWasn't that one a Made in Abyss spoof? I only remember this because I *distinctly* remember someone coming up to me, years ago, talking about the exact same thing. When I read through the entry, I saw MiA in there somewhere and I think I might be conflating the two.
Instead of running spoofs, when do we go for the real thing? Abyss Diver MP, permadeath mode. First one alive to the bottom gets everlasting glory.
>>95852574I always say that I am not trying to hide so it doesn't bother me, but this is the first time anyone praised my gramar.

>>95852633has a post-apocalyptic cassette futurism setting been attempted yet
>>95852737idk why I said cassette futurism I just meant 80s ish
Would be cool to have dungeons spawn in abandoned malls or governmental buildings and scrounge around for lost audio records of a bygone human civilization
>>95852737Considering I don't know what that means probably not.
>>95852618I will not dox myself but that is mostly correct.
>>95852767>I don't know what that meansCassette futurism specifically is a gay term used to refer to a cool era right before everything went digital where stuff was still analog. Late Cold War, late 70s to early 90s stuff
When the future looked like this and there were Year 3000 settings that still used Laserdisc
>>95852750Oh, then kinda? Some of the lower levels were supposed to be post apocaliptic civs but they were also more advanced and we never got there. I think the original run was that, but it was more modern? It's been a while and I was just lurking so my memory is less grounded on that. It would be cool to try.
>>95852805lol, how convenient for your character idea! Maybe this new setting is just the lowest floor of the abyss but only your character knows that and nobody believes him because theyโre too far down to remain sane
