Considering I didn't get what I want for my chaos armies: Not really.
I will say perusing the last thread, the argument of "But they are competitively good!" doesn't mean that I don't want to have more variety in my armies. How can anyone look at the state of World Eaters and go "This is fine because they have close to a 50% win rate". Is win rate all that matters, not the models, not the army variety, just win rate?

I poured a few drops of IPA in the paint pot and backflowed and it sprays again, I don't know what really happened. I'll follow VinceV's guide again as it's been a while.
I haven't put them on bases as it'll be difficult to get to their bodies otherwise.

If you ignore the Sons of Horus (Chaos Undivided) is the only real, proper Chaos Legion the Death Guard? Does Nurgle alone have a real, organized, objective-oriented Legion with an actually functioning and productive world behind it? For example how do the World Eaters even function as an organized Legion at all? The Death Guard will do maintenance, construction, keep scriptoriums, do research, focus on objectives and not what it makes them feel, communicate normally with one another and other Legions, and all while doing the will of Nurgle.

They don't, they're like orks in that warbands are drawn to large fights and there just so happens to be enough world eaters to make it a unified force. Usually, they just follow Angron or Kharn around.

I got a dumb question. I got myself a Chaos Knight, but from CHYNA.

How do I assemble a larger recast properly? Or just a Forge World resin really. Obviously can't use plastic cement, but I'm not sure regular Locite/Gorilla glue will be strong enough to hold large pieces.

Should I look into pinning? Epoxy? Both?

The reason why I keep thinking Hrud are a likely candidate for a new xenos faction is because of how they would be immediately aesthetically distinctive from the other armies and thus easier to market.
Also all it would take lore wise to justify them spilling out from everywhere and becoming a player in the galaxy would be just saying “oh shit, Qah actually came back like the Hrud are now hyped up and ready to take on the galaxy”

It's probably just the needle's clogged, IPA is thin enough to get through but paint isn't, you should be able to push it back with the pipe cleaner and then push it out with the airbrush needle, don't push too hard with the needle though, if you do you could bend the needle which would ruin it.

If someone were to offer you money in exchange for your warhams collection, how much would your minimum be?

For me I would say 25,000usd. I've spent about 10,000usd on the models, I don't even know how to price the labor I've put into painting them since they're painted above average, and then you add in sentimental value of all the friends I've made through them and tournaments and stuff.

I cleaned everything, I can see through from one end to another if that's the thing. Lemme try again.
I really don't want to go back to using spray cans, I also want to paint their carapace with an airbrush if I can otherwise it'd take too much work. It worked great when painting the armor of neophytes, it's not precise at all but I was able to basecoat their armor in 10 minutes max.
I don't have space for a compressor, but I see the value in investing into a decent airbrush setup. Preferably one that does not cause too much headache like this one.

An okay sized compressor for airbrushing is like the size of two loaves of bread. You don't need a giant one like you'd need for airtools

I've had it before where it's looked clean but it's because the buildup of paint was hugging the side of the nozzle, what I tend to do is scrape the needle along the inside of the nozzle as that will usually loosen up any dried paint. Unfortunately airbrushes can be a hassle and primer is usually the source of most clogs, but it's worth it in the long run. My recommendation is to always at least flush out with water between colours, and always do a full clean whenever you put it away. Also you are lubing the needle aren't you?

I have no idea what I'm doing really, and no I haven't lubed it at all. I drop a few drops of flow improver + thinner mix before putting any primer in the pot.
One thing I noticed was it was spraying paint briefly when I let the trigger go, instead of pulling it and getting a steady flow. I was able to prime two minis by moving the trigger back and front but this isn't how it's supposed to be really. It's past midnight and I'm tired of having to deal with this.
