Deviated Form is pretty much free. Valuable gets countered by Shadow Spirit, though only later and partially so I'll want to hunt down some stealthy creatures asap. I hope (read: pray) to outscale and eventually devour the dragon; ideally I can hide until I'm strong enough with Shadow Spirit/the aforementioned stealth devouring. Parasite can be located via Heaven Blessed/Seventh Sense/Iska (I assume) and the Tonic should allow me to survive the surgery. Finally, Alice is the most evil one so dealing with her should score me a bunch of karmic brownie points.

I'm really considering taking phylactery to get nests (like sauron spawning pits for my units and stuff) and Recycling. This would pair well with my plan for No Mercy and Joining. Well the earning of poins was meant to represent growing closer to the artifact so losing them is a representation of coming apart but it is difficult to do so you just have to stay cordial to avoid it.
It makes the CYOA better imo by enforcing that the artifacts are infact living beings they are very much inclined to adore you but still need a bit of attention from you to trive.

As for the gauntlet the point is having to learn to work as a team with Luva she is very impulsive so will likely get you into trouble but also wants the best for you and willing to do entusiastically do her best.
The pact is a show of great trust towards her from you and she knows it.

1. We know that Hedin's (super short chant) strongest offensive spell Varian Hildr can vaporize individuals equal in level to him without leaving behind a trace, and can destroy small islands.
2. We know that Riveria's (super long chant) strongest offensive spell Vas Windheim can take out monsters (Delphine) two levels higher than her own, while her preceding spell Rea Laevateinn just couldn't.
3. We know that Alfia's (super long chant) Genos Angelus is above even that, and can annihilate entire dungeon floors, and took out things like the Leviathan, one of the three legendary monsters.

We can conclude that Spirit Fire can prooobably take out levels higher than it. At least 2-3 levels. It wouldn't be "the most destructive spell known to exist", otherwise.

I believe this is why the Concurrent Chant skill exists. It can also be taught/learned. I imagine being more familiar with combat helps.
