That's not the issue. It's basically absurdly draconian anti-CP law, where websites that feature user uploads are required to jump through a ton of hoops to prove they're actively working to prevent illegal content being shared. Naturally 4chan, like any sane global company, has ignored the UK's requests to prove they're doing that. It's an extremely stupid law that requires even small private forums of a few hundred users to carry out risk assessments that would require expensive legal support to do to the standards Ofcom requires.

I love using Dark Cleric and Cultists. They are both easier to produce and their magic comes with utility. Same with Sappers, they're very useful and you can have a lot of them. What's stopping me from picking Blasters is that they're above average. Above Average doesn't seem all that helpful (to me) when I can out-number them with Cultists and Sappers and still have them do more.

I just like utility more than straight-up power.

The cultist rituals kind of don't sound that useful though, while blasters are dedicated actual mages. That's kind of what's making it harder. Sappers are kind of just like advanced miners and construction workers, honestly.

What I'm aiming for is that they can do more than just being an attack mage. The Rituals the cultists can do can be anything from blaster-type attacks to buffs of your forces to nerfing the enemy. Same with the Sapper, they can construct, but they're also Ambushers. I'm not into fair fights, I'll have my Sapppers always bombing the shit out of the enemy.

The cultists can't really do anything an blaster can, for instance though. Just from reading, cultists are minor magicians with a heavy focus on setup. So they do stuff like conduct rituals that could be like raising undead, or cursing a land, or doing traditional witch stuff like "They got a lock of your hair so now you've got a wasting curse" type stuff. They're essentially just doing witch stuff, meanwhile a blaster can almost act like an offensively geared medium tier magus, being a mage that's focused around lobbing fireballs and stuff. Blasters can also just be dragons.

Sappers are kind of like cultists in this regard, they lose straight up to enemy foes, but they're good at exactly what it says they are, if you can create explosives, they're probably good at setting them up, and they can mine through fortifications, create tunnel systems and can setup and operate siege equipment on top of probably generally being good at construction especially for stuff like fortifications, but they suck shit in actual combat. Good for prolonged combat or defensive battles where you have time to set stuff up, but shitty otherwise, and that's kind of how I view the cultists as well but they at least have the potential for magic rituals, so maybe like setting up sites of power or something.

Depend what is you strategy, propably pick the units you would use more often.
I see you don't have some kind of artillery/range aoe (magical or otherwise) and that look like a massive oversight to me.
I don't think your specific build need Vanguard, you already got lot of melee unit and the Monstrous Mount for flying. And keep Shadow only if you think they would be able to reliably sneak in, kill target and come back, really expansive if they are one off and they don't sound really strong to me so no killing "hero unit".
Drop both and get Sapper and some Elite level mage unit that cost 1, one to make or break fortification and the other for some magic support.
I recommend Plaguebearer or Dark Cleric, the first can debuffs armies and really strain logistics (curse the land/water, make everyone sick after a battle), the other is a more generic magic support. Could get Spy or Infiltaror instead of the Sapper to really combo with Plaguebearer.

Above Average is a positive, not a negative Anon. Units explicitly scale in quality based on cost, you can see in the blurb below the Medium & Elite tier sections. Nest has a flat one Medium tier produced per Nest per month and a flat one Basic tier produced per Nest per day. So the higher the cost of the unit is, while staying in it's tier, the more efficient it is at being pumped out by Nest.

Coincidentally, this is why Heavy Infantry is the best line infantry equivalent for an Elitism Nest build, as it's a Medium-tier unit so it bypasses Elitism's downside, it's well rounded so it saves you slots that would otherwise be spent on more specialized forms of infantry, and it's Above Average so it gives you the most bang for your buck with Nest.

Flow 2, Warding, and Midnight Roads for fast forming magic arrays. Concealment for hidden arrays. Sense 2 and Blindsight to sense danger from far away and set up arrays early. With this combo, I'll have no problem protecting myself or escaping. Once I learn some attack spells, especially on using spatial magic offensively, my arrays will become death traps.

Those are great questions. Compel forces actions despite the targets thoughts, while beast speech is more of enhanced persuasion. Your ability to speak with animals would also let you use Compel on them, but it would function separately from the number you can control with Beast Speech. Eh, writing quality is just as important in my opinion, as spelling and text errors can not only lead to potential lore and balance weirdness but it also takes you out of the cyoa when you see them.
