Lost Legion
A lost Roman Legion appears in your setting. Tieflings get the cross. Wat do?

They get arrested for murder and crimes against the intelligent peoples of the world, probably put to death. That is, of course, assuming they aren't gunned down in self-defense by said Lowborn (the closest thing my setting/system has to tieflings) since it's modern fantasy and automatic armor-piercing firearms and explosives exist alongside magic including the powers martials have to buff themselves to superhuman levels.

A Roman Legion would get absolutely annihilated in my setting as a result.

>a foreign army arrives in the kingdom and starts to murder the kings subjects
They will be fought by adventurers and whatever local forces are present, till a proper host can be assembles to destroy them

Their first encounter with anything vaguely resembling a military makes Blood River look like a close fight.

It really depends on where they land cause there are parts of the setting that stomp a legions head in and others that would get their shit kicked in

Break down in to individual bandit units because they lack the sophisticated supply lines that enabled the legions to fight effectively.
