it won't do all the work for you but it's best to know what are the best commons in each colour, and which rares are actually trash despite having a bunch of words on them (you might be rare drafting anyways but it's often technically correct to take a common over the rare)
look at some decks from high level drafters to get an idea of curve (you want to have things to do on turns 2/3 in every limited format, preferably on the board) but it will vary depending on your archetype and strategy.
GB is great but it kind of wants some strong rares to ramp into, or at least T-Rexs + good removal.

Traditionally, this isn't how things played out at all. At a competitive level, aggro decks struggled because they lacked the depth and consistency to preform in a best of 3 format. They funneled so many resources in to maximizing their damage out put that simply sideboarding in a few life gain spells of some early game tempo can completely stop their roll.
The current aggro explosion has come as a result of aggro decks gaining so many different cost effective ways to expand their maximum damage output

It's good early, mid and late and enables the degenerate towns combo.

You don't reach the 3 life because Food tokens are a {2} to activate and you're not seeing another turn against the current meta. Besides the fact that the mono red version universally runs 4 copies of Nemesis between main and side board, permanently invalidating lifegain.
The removal only works against izzet, and all it does is turn cori (which was going to make a 2/2 prowess effectively if equipped) into a 3/3 for them instead.
The rest of their prowess package + buffs then kill you as usual.

I'm betting on boros package. FOMO and Lightning will result in turn 4 kills which go through any blocker with ease. Fomo>Lightning>4x damage on boros charm. Beyond that FF has some nice cards that provide gas and haste for red, Brynhildr is the next cutter contender and a card I'd spec on if cutter eats a ban. 1R 2/1 that draws a card and hastes two creatures is nuts
