I've talked to a lot of 40k players who sincerely believe the game is entirely decided by dice rolls. I don't play 40k, but I believe this is very unlikely to be the case given the faction differences and objectives I do know of, and the fact certain people seem to consistently win 40k tournaments. But my question is really, if you believe the game is totally and completely random, why the fuck would you spend thousands of dollars on it?

It's a dice game, you win if the dice are big numbers. There's no strategy in any of the games people around here play, you just roll high.

I do have this fantasy where Inhave two wives, one that is like my normal wife and one who is my my wife and I get off sharing her with my ear gaming buddies as she sucks them off as a consolation for lossing. Also she is into the hobby and paints minis, because fuck it it’s my fantasy.
