I'm finishing the oceanboroughs' arc whether the mp dies or not, I had plans for shafiq too but not a soul has picked up on the clues so I kind of ditched them lmao. If someone picks up on the completely unsubtle shit i've sprinkled all over her prompt answers and writefag appearances I might pick them up again, but I really doubt it'll happen at this point

Writefag for the 26th has a full outline that I just need to flesh out. Stupid thing is enormous but there's no way I'm letting it go unfinished. I'm not reposting the cover art I made for it though that shit was awful. Probably just going to edit an existing image since I found a somewhat fitting one.

After I make that June 26th writefag I'm updating their relationship charts and probably writing the pair some fluff. I really wanted to do something with Tina, Mythran, and Hippos at some point so I might end up throwing them all in one writefag or doing shorter individual ones idk. Marvin is also on the docket but lower priority since I don't think I can give him a whole story, Veronica/Zach is also on the agenda but I've gotta figure out how to implement her posse and stop Zach from being a pussy before I do that

anyways, lots of plans. If the mp properly croaks I'll probably just write it for personal reasons and not post it here. Really love the cast and do not want to give up.

Worm's dead - I tried my best with Nightmare, but seems like people weren't very interested in the run. Maybe next time it'll go better if we roll with a more traditional run, but MHA kinda fills the cape niche when it's active.

I just finished writing for City, and plan on doing more as soon as I get ideas - I'm having a lot of fun with it! I don't know if we plan on going the route of having full cantos for each Sinner or writefags being more intermingled with the Boughs acquired at the end of their arc. If no one gets the plot moving in the coming days, I'll try to think of a good 'first mission' to get the bus moving.

I am doing a Color Fixer, and I ain't sure about immortality. The idea is that he's so good that he's evaded death numerous times while people thought they killed him while in reality the original knight passed the mantle onto Gawain, who since then is trying to do the right thing., I don't think resurrective/immortality abilities are a good idea to tackle in a city that explicitly prohibits it.

Well, a couple of anons seem to want to join but the cyoa is holding them back. I would not be opposed to a new cyoa but it would cause a series of complications. The old builds may not be compatible/possible anymore for one. Also even if someone starts making one now all it will do is kill the current MP because everyone will just say "we may as well wait for the new one". I think it's better for anons to post what concept they want if they don't know how to make it/don't feel like it's possible so that the thread can help like that one anon proposed. It's a stopgap measure but it runs less of a risk of killing the MP. Just a complete 0% chance of victory.

Also a roughish estimation on how much the Only The Best perk and its boosted version from Wing Elite would put it compared to its peers as I don't know how weighty those contributors should be considered for designing an Augment.

I want to offer advice but I made Elixir a tool specifically because I didn't know how to really balance that stuff. The physical side of the augment is probably a lot less impressive after the Sinner contract, but hes only below the Bloodfiends in raw strength. He's also got the best 'processing power' of all the Sinners from the mental half - a tier 3 mental aug is comparable to a supercomputer, so a tier 5 should be crazy even if it is sharing with a physical boost.

Technically it's a 13 way tie between all of our sinners due to how that works (we all have the same general physicals now, so if someone can exert more force than someone else it's a result of skill).
If we're talking about pre-sinner then bloodfiends are more bloodmage than anything. They're probably fairly physically strong, but it's only because they'd be powerful entities in general. Any physically focused sinner who was more than mid-tier in the past would at least be their equal if not their better... Unless someone fluffs themselves otherwise, anyway.

Dusty doesn't do a lot of "unwinding", there's always work to be done on the farm, but Dusty does enjoy relaxing amidst all its gemstones and other cool rocks it's collected or bartered for.

Most of Dusty's work is pro-bono. It gets what it needs from people, and anything produced in excess of that is usually just given away. Staryu/Starmie culture seems to have placed little value on material things, or at least Dusty's tribe didn't. Not much option for keeping or tracking possessions in the Bottomless Lake, after all.

Dusty's young, and doesn't really understand what parties are. It likes the sense of community, and being surrounded by companions, but only really imitates what others are doing, in a very crude, unsure fashion. Everyone finds it adorable when Dusty "breakdances" though, it's really just spinning in a circle on the floor.

A person usually can't handle a ID beyond their power. If you try and become someone else who's far more experienced and stronger you run the risk of getting taken over and losing who is the "real" you. So a Sinner getting weaker would probably roll over to the identities they could handle.

For the most part I'd just guess that even with Hod you wouldn't even be getting Grade 3 fixer identities at first unless you also got Hokma to shrug off most of the debuffs, but I'm just throwing theories at the wall because theres no real definitive linear path for Sinners other than the correlation that they get stronger over the course of their journey and that gives them access to greater identities and totally isn't an excuse for powercreep.

Personally as an anon who's made a build for it before and complained about it many times, I think the canon stuff hurts it the most. Not like I wikidived for it but working with what the CYOA displays as there's way too much incentive to be a Human, Angel, or Demon.

It makes any of the other options just feel like a trap when it just sets right in front of you "These three are the absolute strongest factions and everyone else are pretty much spectators in their eternal war." Even Dragons don't feel like they can stand up because the other opposing sides have an armoury of legendary tools, random ass ancient bloodlines which make them built different from anyone else, and magic that seems to only be able to be matched by other magic of the highest caliber.

If we got rid of most of that I think it could work but its too much wanking for the big three.

Also you think too much about factions and not enough about characters, your race does not determine your faction 90% of the time, and factions searching for ways to get powerful sarcred gears is a key part of the setting too, be it by resurrecting humans into another race, making fake ones or what have you. The cyoa, the old one especially, offers us the chance to decide a lot more of the setting than what you think.

That's actually just not true. There's exactly 3 factions from the PDF version, which I assume is the old one you are talking about, that allow anyone to join in. Grigori, Khaos Brigade, and Kuoh University. The rest only allow certain races meaning that what you choose filters you out of basically 80% of the other factions. Resurrecting into another race or making fake ones doesn't really help that case that the only way you can really involve yourself is by being that race since that just changes the method from being born as one to instead be created.

Also the problem of some of the factions having way higher importance and power over the others is also by extension of the races themselves. Angels and Devils naturally start with natural insane strength which is just complementary on top of their busted magics. Bringing up Sacred Gears here as factions looking for them just sorts humans into the other top 3 factions, every single thing in the setting hinges on them and their actions. The eras, the political state, you can't go anywhere in the CYOA without having to consider what involvement the Devils, Angels, and Fallen Angels have. If we're acting on the behalf of our faction, we have to consider it when making our characters because in this setting you can't really just be independent. It's like being some random soldier while a war between 3 countries is breaking out and you just to jump in and do... something I guess.

Genuinely, what's wrong with Haki? It was a great way to equalise characters by giving them the power to beat the shit out of Logia users, immediately know power levels and put people to sleep if their willpower was strong enough. It only started getting wacky once Oda wanked it as a power system that eventually trumps everything else, since a guy with Haki can just cancel DFs at certain mastery.
