Anyone else find it kind of hilarious that the liberator decks are all getting level 7s when level 7s are a huge deal in other series with Omni, Susano, Apoclymon, and the others being insanely powerful. But the Liberators are getting level 7s to beat the meta in their story

You got it. "Low end" typically refers to your level 3 and 4s that make up the base of tour deck and where a lot of your support is going to lie. Your top end is where you top out and where your overall gameplan pays off.

I think Merva and Anubis are both good choices. They really help get bodies out so you can swarm your opponent with lower level mons. Definitely play around and tweak it as you see fit because I think Lilith is a really fun version of purple slop.

testing Kimeramon DM slop on DCGO... Why did they make it so bad?
After watching some videos on Youtube, I thought about building it because it kinda seemed fun but now that I tested it, even if Kimeramon's price tanks to like 1 or 2€, it's not worth it.
On the other hand, I decided to test a BT13 Sleipmon deck (because I noticed it was the only Royal Knight I didn't have a deck built around) and it's not that bad. It's certainly better than Kimeramon.

In all honesty, the deck doesnt care much about memory economy during the omni turns because you spend 90% of the game rookie rushing their security and getting your pieces. By the time omni comes out, it is usually a field wipe or your opponent is seconds away from getting ACE'D as you want them to proc the option card while they overextend so theyd lose.

I think it's because for the Tai&Matt combos you specifically need a BT17 Mega and a BT17/22 Rookie with opposite colors to make an Omnimon, whereas with Nokia you can make an Omnimon if they're the same color (replacing BT17 Mega with BT22 Mega of course).

We're not likely to see it in the next couple chapters while we're focusing on the new Arisa and Violet support wave, but I'm really hoping the new cards for Close's mineral deck are a little more evil and creepy while she's brainwashed.

Control is the meta again so you dont worry too much about that, like it or not.
You can try the hunters archetype since it is about fielding a buncha tamers and slowly whittling them away while drawing a million cards. I also heard gammamon is very fun, you can make a fucked stack that keeps stuffing shit inside it every turn for effects and draw/memory power for the tamer.

What about this new Kimeramon deck that revolves around DM cards? Seems like a cooler version of the old white Kimera, which I really liked as a tech card.
Also, would souping in a Machinedra and Millie hurt too much? Not Moon or Zeed, just normal Millie since it's the one I like the most. I used to like souping lvl 7 whenever I made casual decks.

What are some good representations of each of the major play styles this game has to offer? I'm just popping cool looking decks into DCGO but most of the stuff you guys talk about just goes right over my head as a newer player. I messed around with the most recent starter decks and the last 2 a bit.

Game is more archetypal than having certain play styles so it can be kind of hard to explain. Most decks have a gimmick that makes them function that tends to be somewhat unique for it. Going wide is just having multiple digimon to attack with, which sometimes you do because it's the hand you have.

Forgot to add, it might be easier if you just post the ones you thought looked cool and the various anons that play those decks can chime in with how it works. I.E. the 2 most recent starters are best combined and with a few cards from bt21 to make a deck that runs off of the [Adventure] keyword and uses a lot of tamers for resource gain, to play digimon for a reduced cost, and have a lot of effects that revolve around playing other digimon. It's interesting, but not really sure how learner friendly it is since it's a lot of stacking effects from multiple cards

Bright side is that Adventure Decks are choosing to run the DM Alter-S package so I can just watch them crash into a random Ouryuken in my stack and have them hand me 8 memory or drop an Ouryuken on them, giving me 11 in return.
But that Puppet deck is getting real fucking boring to play against.
