You can do some janky shit with them, like spamming board wipes in between swings. Vehicles stay safe from Supreme Verdict. It's a cool, though not particularly amazing, interaction.

I think, without the pressure of ungodly retarded aggro you are going to have a lot more time to do things that aren't incredibly boring bog standard LE CONTROL! and LE ATTACK! strategies.

Monument to Endurance is a card I'd watch in the next iteration of Standard. I think discard has a lot of support, and we'll see if it gets anymore in Edge. Seems like the format might be not total ass, now that people will have even a single fucking turn to do anything but cast removal.

Standard was fine before they printer Cutter. Worlds was won by Domain in a wide open meta. Aggro was easily defeated.
But as commanders and BO1 Arena players, none of you would know that.

Or some kind of Artist's Talent deck could emerge (doubtful).

Before, there was literally nothing because every turn you didn't spend casting removal is a turn you are instantly dead. With Mice gone, Standard brews have at least some minimum amount of room to breathe.

The black aggro creatures are good, but don't justify running bad cards like unholy strength. You'd need card advantage like corrupted conviction.

A slower game with less resources (power points for example) allows for more decisions throughout the game and more interaction and games are less repetitive, not saying that even formats like scam modern don't have their fairly complex tree of decisions but a slower game is more ponderated and allows for more moves.

Premodern is trash that was solved long ago and never changes.

Limited remains the only truly based format, the very design stops it from being Jewed for the sake of constructed

I've read it. It's literally not good at all. It's a vanilla that you can cast turn 4 to cheat a 4-cost permanent out of your hand (instead of, you know, PLAYING THE 4 COST) and then cast later for 6 to maybe cheat out a 6 cost or bigger if the enemy kills it.
If it was any card, not just a permanent, you could maybe cheat out Inevitable Betrayal or Crashing Footfalls, and even then it'd be mid as hell.

Middling cards banned from legacy because JotC hates white people. Because somehow destroy all "black creatures," "White creatures get +1/+1," and "White creatures get +2/+1 as long as the chosen player controls a nontoken permanent of the chosen color" is somehow racist. They also banned Felidar even though it was Saheeli that was the problem. Felidar is a middling card without Saheeli.

Moreover, four mana cost resurrection has been in standard several times before before. Replenish which was not banned from its standard is still stronger than Abuelo. A few years ago there was Redress Fate which could be played for four if drawn during the turn and Resurgent Belief which let you do the same thing but with plot for 2 mana. Black still has Zombify, a four mana cost resurrection for creatures. Abuelo has been in the format for more than a year before Foundations.

It wasn't until after foundations released omniscience that the omniscience deck was even a thing. They're using White as a scapegoat when Omniscience was the problem. Abuelo was only ran to get omniscience out of the graveyard. Then omniscience was the card that did everything for the deck. Fact of the matter is that JotC hates white. They hate white people. Whenever they ban a white card, usually something else is the problem.
