Anne Tenna, probably! I really like her base character concept, especially how it was used to convey her personality through her relationship chart, and the constant balance of slight absurdity with her deadly serious passion for her work is really wonderful. It's even reflected in her design (unintentionally?): she's a little ladybug with a big lab coat that, due to Orbeetle's body plan, looks like it'd be wildly uncomfortable to put on. But, because she's dedicated to her work and being professional about it, she dons the coat anyways and goes about the place like it's completely normal. I know that's a completely extraneous detail, but idk it always stuck out to me as a good reflection of her character. Really looking forward to writing about her :)

Just barely tied between Corrin Thunder-Fist and Dusty. I love the latter's concept to death, but I really like the former's role! Granted, I have a soft spot for wandering mercs or lone gunmen types who exist mostly in rumor, but I still think Corrin pulls it off well. It's especially neat because he's not even fully-evolved, so there's always potential for him to get *even scarier* and really blow the socks off of everyone he's already scaring lol.
Dusty is just extremely solid all around! His motivation ties perfectly into his career, his backstory and species choice are very unique, and he's a great concept. I hope his anon does more with him.

Minrathous Cicero! Not much of a contest lol. He's been extremely intriguing from the moment he debuted. Even ignoring the cool custom spell, his backstory fits in so perfectly with the world and slots into history in such a way that just makes him even existing an interesting proposition. The real Cicero's family died out long before modern times, so what could a world where his bloodline not only went on, but became fucking *magic* look like? How would that have changed even just the Magical World?
The extraneous worldbuilding does a great job of giving Cicero a solid foundation to start from, and then the character himself also does a good job of expanding on it! He's cool and mysterious, leader of a house known for the total opposite of his character, which seems to have happened a lot come to think of it, but remains approachable enough to teach and foreign enough to be interesting just on a base level. I think I'm rambling at this point, but you get the idea. Cicero good.

Ah man, I don't know? Maybe Olympia, at least concept-wise. All the fleshing out through prompts and the emphasis on how she needs to regulate even the most basic parts of her function to keep from rapidly aging, as well as her small circle of friends and the fact that she's made out of paper, it's extremely creative and very well-executed.
I think Mythran's idea is a great one, too, though I'm not sure if Mythran's anon is still around. Same goes for Thomas Hippos.
In terms of personality, maybe Minagi Sukasuka. I find myself thinking about her a lot when the mp pops into my mind, she's very distinct. Reading over my choices, though, maybe I just have a bias for foreign students or something lmao.

The fact that most of them are made with the intent that it's a Choose YOUR Own Adventure, for instance. I don't think it's unusable but my biggest gripe with it is that you need to use a lot of external means to make a build. Going wiki diving to make a build more accurate to the lore is fine but I'd prefer if generally knowledge about the world is in the CYOA itself. The problem is it's required crunch wise to reference outside sources which may not be consistent such as in the case for move pools.

Few questions for Minosanon if he's here:

Does he hate the Minotaur, Poseidon, Theseus, or Daedalus? Or all of the above? Writing Part 1 of Rhapsody 1 rn and am leaning towards he is bros with Daedalus and hates Poseidon and Theseus (former cucked him and latter turned Ariadne into Nuovo Fabric and is trying to kill the Minotaur), but I don't know his stance on the Minotaur. I really think HP, if nothing else, is full of a lot of really interesting character concepts. I elaborated on it a bit in my autistic favorite character rant, but I can point to multiple students and even teachers with something very inherently interesting about even their basic premises. Cicero as a foreign glowie, Mythran taking real advantage of being a human changeling, Olympia as a living Howler, Studios as a complete magical impostor who compensates greatly in other ways. That's just off the top of my head.

I also like the diversity in personality most of them have. Despite the whole House thing arguably restricting personality, I think pretty much every single House in the mp has a good selection of archetypes. Weird kids, outspoken fun-havers, snobs, teacher's pets. I think about every house has at least three of these, and they're all executed in various different ways that make them very interesting.

Again, I'd really love to do them justice. I have a few ideas for lots of them, but it's hard to go past typical SoL for them just because their personalities don't gel so well with my trio. Ah well, I'll figure it out some day

I Made the old .pdf CYOA into 12 pages with a bunch of balance changes to smooth it out into a far better building experience. I like the new werebeasts and demigods, cut down human magic, and the unique perk system. The demon sin rework is interesting, and I think I like it more than the old metamagic. I believe that exactly because it's text heavy, that the font should have readability in mind first and foremost. Fancy titles are okay, but the text itself should be easily readable. So going with a classic like Arial is fine. I definitely wouldn't go for cursive. The most level of stylization I think might be acceptable would be something like Grenze Gotisch, Medula, Nova Oval or Iceberg, but even there it might be pushing it slightly with some of those variants.

The latter is actually superior, authors just don't do it due to how secularized and competitive factions typically are.

Amazing work! Just got back from a convention and this was a great thing to see out.

I feel inspired to write Selene sequestering herself away, trying to figure out how to track and bait Asterion while trying to get more info out of Minos.

I figure it might be a good way to explain what the thing(which I assume you have an idea about already) and how to capture it alive. I'll write some lore about Selene's home district too but that's on my end to work on.
