>>96014831 (OP)>TTOP, are you stupid? You should realize what kind of content shall flood this thread.
>>96014922Go crazy my dude I don't give a fuck
If I really hated seeing half naked men that much I'd have filtered you long ago
I always enjoy seeing what GPT can do for me via image-to-image generation. Here was my prompt.
>I'd tried sketching a portrait of a character based on their description. Can you tune it up in an anime style? The background can be an out-of-focus club.
>"A lean, skinny Japanese guy in Asia Pop wear. Bright blue jacket, with a chic white beanie and purple EVA-style bottoms. He's well put together, not visibly dirty or anything - a thick black mop of hair peaking out of the bottom of his cap, and a distinct red-metal cyberarm replacing his right. Young and modern, but just low-key enough to blend in with the scenery in a crowd of teens and young adults, elsewhere. Slung under his arm is a businesswear-looking Backpack, carrying something of bulk."
Did I get completely mogged by the AI?
Apparently this is what the internet wishes could be played with an AI game master. Looks like bullshit. What does /tg/ think?
>>96014734It hallucinates in really weird ways and it's specialized styles screw with the prompts too heavily, though that's not always a bad thing. Negative prompts are a huge plus tho.
>>96015017If there's ever going to be a true AI driven RPG, it's going to need several constraints to keep it in check, both from the aspects of game mechanics as well as story consistency. To accomplish this, you'd likely need multiple systems, one to handle and cross-reference hard-coded rules for how certain things should operate in the world, and then another separate system to handle the creative side of things so it's not just focusing single-mindedly on mechanics.
Most systems that are out right now are just cheaping out and trying to force both of those systems to operate within a single AI, which with what we have right now is just not feasible.
>>96015041sometimes the porn it generates is fucking body horror nightmare fuel.
>>96015101From my experience (3 games adapted so far, one in the middle of a rework):
AI solo gaming is 100% doable as of right now. The dice rolling mechanic has been there for 2 years, and now with the release of Gemini, memory isn't an issue. The only issue is that it likes to recap the entire story when the chat goes on too long. You have around 500 messages before you need to export your summaries to a new chat.
I've been playing the Village of Hommlet for weeks, it's playable. The AI knows all the rooms, keeps track of monsters and doesn't respawn them.
Needless to say, it knows all the game rules and follows them, sometimes it improvises when it can't find a suitable rule for a check.
The only downside is you need real devotion to port already existing adventures to stop the AI from generating slop.
Sometimes when I prompt something, Bing gives me things I didn't ask for. Does that happen to anyone else?

pretty much this. Right now, I use AI to help me develop characters, factions, and other world-building stuff. It's also pretty good at generating items if you want some quick loot tables. You can give it parameters like
>No more than 25 damage >Give each "special" weapon 2 traits like "attacking 3 targets in one turn" or "Attacks ignite enemies and the weapon does bonus damage to enemies on fire". Feel free to be creative here and think of unique traits. >Only generate Ranged bows, crossbows, polearms, and swords.>Have the names of the weapons reference Dragons since they're getting them from Drakeborn Village's ancient ruins.Pic related is the result. You could have more specific outputs based on how autistic you want to get with the parameters.
>>96014919>>96015175I can't tell if this is some kind of psyop or not and it's upsetting me
>>96015298Some asshole has a sick obsession. They can spam pics like that even when I'm not around
>>96015316Even when you're not around?!?!
>>96015275Those are some pretty insane special traits!
>>96015316More than one, I'm afraid.
>>96001265 >Thanks. I'll play around with it later, not happy with the few results I got so far
>>96015358Yeah, I know, real original, donut steal material. If nothing else, it might help you think of something akin to it if it's a little too clichรฉ. No worse than people who name their ship the "Primrose" or "Windcutter".
>>96014941It adapted what you wrote quite well and, yes, it mogged your sketch.
>>96015389Definitely they have nothing else to do other than sperging over a drawing.
And since they do so even when I'm not posting anything, nothing would change even if I quit /slop/ altogether.
>>96015166How you've gone about things is pretty close to what I was thinking of, now all you need is a second system to essentially automate the memory issues.
>>96015275It's ironic because in some ways an AIs ability to "hallucinate" can almost be a perfect replica for a GM's on-the-fly thinking that's needed for a campaign, but despite these tech nerds having accidentally created the perfect technology for us they keep trying to use it for other things that require actual, hard facts.
>>96015416I wouldn't waste my time mocking you, but I do see the appeal. You're a rather odious individual.
>>96015426The memory is almost infinite with Gemini 2.5 models. The issue is LLMs get bad when a chat goes on for too long. When I get tired, I tell it to print out all relevant chatacter sheets, as well as entire cast and plot summary. Works like a charm, but the process is quite demoralizing.
>>96014831 (OP)>Astraea Her name (meaning โstar-maidenโ) is woven from myth and stardust, evoking celestial eternal cycle of creation.
>MythosAstraea is said to have descended in the quiet of a moonless night, born from the collapse of a radiant star longing to nurture rather than burn. Her arrival marked the first bloom of wildflowers in barren lands and the softening of hearts hardened by war. She walks unseen among lovers and mothers, seeding beauty wherever sorrow dwells. Legends say that when she blows a kiss, it becomes a constellationโeach one representing a soul healed by love.
>Tenets of Worshipโข Love, openly and without fear:
To withhold love is to waste the very breath she grants.
โข Create beauty where there is none:
Whether through art, nature, or kindness, beauty is a sacred act.
โข Fertility is more than birth:
It is the blooming of ideas, the nurturing of peace, the growth of joy.
โข Cherish the night:
In its stillness, her whispers are most clearly heard.
>Divine Domainsโข Fertility & Growth:
She is invoked in planting seasons and in childbirth alike.
โข Beauty & Art:
Inspiration flows from her kiss and takes form in music, dance, and creation.
โข Love & Desire:
She delights in the tender and the passionate alike, blessing unions of all kinds.
โข Stars & Cosmic Mystery:
Her essence echoes in the night sky, and her priestesses are often stargazers and dream-interpreters.
Just playing with HTML profiles and I'm surprised at the stuff you can do (well, AI I can, I couldn't do it). I'm playing a roleplaying game in a few months and I'm like gagging to play a character who has a sports theme or something stupid like that solely so I can have a cool league card that you can flip over for stats. I know I will get sick of such a character, of course, but AI has me acting unwise.

since she's pretty much been considered a sex symbol throughout most of her life and unlife.
My vampire's sire, born Florence Eva Joyce in Britain, was an art model in her youth, she later became a pin-up model and a sex work advocate, among other things, but she's better known for her unusually long career as Diva Mastix Lasch, the world-touring professional dominatrix - as it was her proficiency in this art that got her into the Toreador clan. Aliases predating this current nom de guerre include: Lacey Strangelove, Ms. Payne, Mistress Stern, Governess Oldham, and my vampire's favorite: Mrs. Dickinson.
One fateful night our Diva found herself all alone at a petrol station in Paris, ordinarily she wouldn't be wasting a second of her unlife refueling her car by herself, but that particular hypercar turned out to be even more environmentally unfriendly than advertised. An unsuspecting mugger saw the oversized furs and hoary hair, and imagined himself facing an easy prey, but to the surprise of both, a young woman interfered, and kicked him in the groin so hard, she fractured a pair of bones in her foot, and our Toreador dominatrix was transfixed.
Our mugger would then try to get his revenge and got his gang to nearly kill the girl. Diva Mastix Lasch was definitely not amused by the thought of a man needing such numerical advantage and weapons just to fight an already injured girl. Indeed it was no fight, it was a massacre: the girl even forgot her own name and almost died to a hemorrhagic shock.
A second massacre happened shortly after the embrace.
>>96015629The truth is the 20-something-year-old hapa mortal was already on the Toreadors' radar for her skill in the martial arts, so even though the embrace happened in an emergency situation, the Prince (technically a subordinate of a subordinate of his) had already given his blessing.
Our new vampire is now named Jang Hyun-ah and was taken by her beloved Diva on a world tour lasting over 20 years learning and appreciating the arts, be them her sire's, architecture, and martial, including European combat sports and wrestling, Southeast Asian kickboxing, modern Chinese, Japanese and Korean martial arts, and Brazilian martial arts.
>>96015592I imagine the more "cute" goblins being a mixture of catty bratty girls and bad bitches. They'd laugh at you for trying to get their number.
>>96014831 (OP)>Velmora, the Gilded ViceHer name rolls off the tongue with a sense of beauty hiding danger, like a forbidden perfume that clings to silk sheets or a name whispered between sins.
>MythosIn primordial times, before law or virtue took root in mortal hearts, Velmora arose from the molten blood of a fallen celestial who dared to savor mortal pleasures. Her descent marked the birth of shadowed desireโintoxicating, unrepentant, and enthralling. Mortals call to her in whispers during acts of forbidden longing, while corrupt monarchs toast to her name in candlelit revels. She is the flame behind indulgence and the voice that urges, โOne more tasteโฆโ
>Tenets of Velmoraโข Freedom lies in surrender:
True power is found in yielding to oneโs nature.
โข Shame is a leash forged by the weak:
Cast it off and rise unbound.
โข Indulge beautifully:
Decadence is sacred when performed with reverence and style.
โข Corruption is a gift:
To awaken others is to sanctify them.
โข Beauty is dominion:
Adorn yourself and others as offerings to the goddess.
>Divine Domainsโข Lust:
The sacred drive entwined in every heartbeat.
โข Charm:
Influence woven like silk, seductive and sharp.
โข Darkness:
The veil behind which desire thrives.
โข Tyranny:
Subtle domination through pleasure and compulsion.

>>96015704My lore is the shittier violent goblins are the ones that get culled and outbred by the more amicable goblins. Through natural selection, the cuter and less evil goblins will begin to flourish. The gobbo on the right like the abbo version, a genetic deadend trying to cargo cult the one on the left, not understanding why humans aren't nice to them. I do think the cuter, more human-like goblins do have evil tendencies expressed in their genes, which result in some being underhanded, sneaky, violent, and generally bad, but they have the intellect not to be overtly evil like their more violent cousins.

hey, an opportunity to post a couple of the gods from my setting I've talked about a couple times. Tried posting exactly these paragraphs as the prompts and got these pics. It's a setting where 60% of the population are halflings, so everything is from their world view instead of humans.
Dialos is the colors goddess of emotional outbursts and self control depicted in red and black. There are very few events that happen in a person's life that don't illicite an emotional response. A fresh morning breakfast made with love or a splash of anger from hitting your finger with a hammer. Many of these emotions are unexpected and visible to all around you. Some emotions are seen as negative, but its all in how you utilize their energy. Denying or smothering your inner feelings is a great sin, for Dialos teaches you must learn to forgive your outbursts and understand your thoughts just as you must not let your emotional state control your every action. The tales that center around Dialos focus on the most tragic of events paralleled by the happiest of celebrations. Of all the gods, Dialos is the most likely to be alone in the narrative, but will occassionally show up as a counterpoint to Kulun (god of pride and humility). Humans know Dialos as the god of Wrath and Forgiveness.
>>96016006Awona is the colors goddess of community and friendship depicted in green and yellow. A bit of a cumulative effect, Awona is felt when chatting with friends, succeeding on a project with coworkers, or trying to keep up with the neighbors. Of all the halfling gods, Awona is the quietest. You could spend days with a terrible feeling in your chest that grows worse every time you see a friends new engagement ring, or have a burst of happiness when you help an elderly woman cross a busy street. Jealousy of the things you don't have is a sin. Awona's tales are most commonly told to young children where they emphasize introspection and empathy. Humans know Awona as the goddess of Envy and Kindness.
>>96016008Unna is the colors goddess of curiosity and desire depicted in purple and white. A locked chest with unknown trinkets, a secret only hinted at, the science and mystery of physics, a lover away at work. The inner urge to satiate what you currently can't, the drive to discover, and the anxiety of helplessness are the domain of Unna. Letting your urges overwhelm your reason or actions is a sin. Unna is the sister of Awona, and the two are known to work hand in hand and fight tooth and claw. Stories involving Unna occasionally oppose Gott, often depicting herself as the antagonist. Humans call Unna the goddess of Lust and Chastity.
>>96016006>>96016008>>96016010Interesting juxtapositions of ideals. I imagine the dichotomies would be a struggle for mortal followers to grapple with, given the almost contradictory nature of the tenants. Do all gods in your setting follow that same yin and yang pattern?
>>96016030yeah, though these 3 happen to be color gods, its 4 color gods and 4 objects gods. The seven deadly sins with their counterpoint seven heavenly virtues, and an 8th for growth/decay.
>>96015629>>96015633Neat backstory and character dynamics between them. Jang is very visually reminiscent of Tifa Lockhart, I must say. Intentional homage or coincidence?
>>96016038>objects godsElaborate?
>>96016049Basically instead of being represented by colors they manifest as physical objects. Here is Gott as an example since he was referenced by Unna.
Gott is the objects god of gifts and holdings. Winter is always a possibility, so having a well stocked larder, or a few extra coin squirreled away makes good sense. Having all the right tools for the job, a spare set of shoes, or the knowledge of how to build a well, are all good aspects of Gott. However, it is when you fail to use those things that you have sinned. The stories of Gott have a workmanship quality to them, and his depictions are most commonly those of coins or statues that talk to the recipient. He interacts with many gods, where he acts as a moral center from which others react. Humans treat him as the god of Greed and Charity.
>>96016062Dieu is the objects god of craftsmanship and apathy. The feeling someone gets when they are working on a project they're passionate about, or the exhausted feel when you wake up to another day of tilling the fields. The relief of a hot shower after a days hard labour, and the snide smile you have when you hide from your boss at midday. The greatest sin in the eyes of Dieu is the failure to partake in an opportunity: procrastination. The stories of Dieu almost always contain his wife Shea'Peh (goddess of Growth/Decay) as they rarely are represented apart, and his depiction is most likely that of a well worn tool or implement that is urging its owner to use it. Humans call Dieu the god of Sloth and Diligence.
>>96016044When designing Hyun-ah (Jang is the "family" name and goes first in Korean names) I wasn't going for Tifa's design, Tifa shows a lot more skin.
I imagined this character explicitly for AI in year 2022, but this is the best that NovelAI could do back then.
>>96016093This was Bing in year 2023, back when it all started.
>>96016099And this is Bing now. This was always the same prompt fed through various generators. When I gave it to Perchance I was immediately struck with the same vision I had, but realized, digitized and ready for action.
>>96016093>>96016099I specifically meant the red eyes, black hair, Eastern Asian features, and martial arts background as being what reminded me of her. Obviously those older gens, less so.
>>96016062>>96016074It's a little hard to wrap my head around their conflicting natures, but that probably would make for some compelling in-game discussions if characters adhered to them and got to chatting theology. Thanks for sharing.
>>96016108Since Perchance was so good right off the bat, I'm going to come up with more costumes for her, much like I experimented with different dresses and fur colors and patterns for her sire.
The next will be gothic gyaru (also known as goshikku), I'm debating if I should keep the dark hair or dye them some manner of blonde...
>>96016111Well, I never played FF7, and it's possible I didn't even know Tifa that well back in 2022. Are Tifa's eyes even red or are they a light shade of brown?
>>96016121Yeah that was a heavy part of the setting. It was designed to specifically be a high politics setting. The settings inciting incident so to speak was caused by Dialos. She got pissed at the hobgoblin god of blood (Aztec culture) and forcibly ripped all magic out of existence. Didn't think it through though cause it meant none of the gods could interact with the world any longer and all the races were suddenly abandoned by their gods.
The halfing gods were universally accepted as being the "right" ones cause there was obvious proof they existed.
>>96016140They're red, but I wasn't implying anything with my comparison. Obviously their stories and characteristics are nothing alike, the aesthetic similarities just stood out to me.
>>96016142Intriguing world-building. Have you ran this setting yet?

My fighters stick by me because I get results, not because I genuflect before so-called superiors. Out here, loyaltyโs forged in the clash of steel. So if you want safe, move along; if you crave victory, sharpen your blade and fight at my side. Under my command we donโt flinch or falter. We carve our names into legend, one battle at a time."
>>96009307>>96009086These are great. I wish the landscape poster would do them even half this good

>>96016500I think AI image-to-image tech will help out homebrew module makers who want to up their PDF game. Really pump out some nice artwork to fill pages. Rather than some shitty MS paint, you can get some nice looking visuals for your work. If you have a general idea of what you want, a simple sketch can go a long way with the right AI tools.
>"You stare out the station window onto the planet below."Which image do you think would captivate players more if you displayed it on owlbear/roll20?
"You call THAT an axe!? Bah! Bertha hereโs cleaved beasts twice yer size 'fore breakfast! Aye... she's chipped an' sheโs scarred, but every nick tells a tale o' blood well-spilled. I dinnae fight for gold or glory; I fight 'cause it's in me bones! The roar oโ the wind in the highlands, the clash oโ steel, the sweet sting oโ mead burninโ down me throat... thatโs where I belong. Me clan stands tall, lad, and so long as I draw breath then no beast, bandit, or blasted lowlanderโll set foot on our lands unscathed. Now, step aside or step up! Berthaโs hungry!"
>>96016534I hadn't even considered the method you're using, but it makes perfect sense and yields great results. Good on you for sharing the process.
>>96016554Top notch contrarinism.
>>96016554Thanks for complimenting my MS Paint work. While it does have its own..."charm", if I were trying to produce a module for mass consumption, I'd want something that looks a little nicer.
If I really buckled down, I could do some Photoshop tricks, copy & paste stuff, and add in my own details as needed, but that's a whole lot of work for "Windows that show outer space" that will be used for one sequence of a session that will never be seen again. Instead of burning a lot of time on that, I could be working on balance, lore, and other writefag stuff for the module.
>>96016550Some additional prompting is required to fine-tune stuff, but you usually don't need more than 2 or 3 tries at most if you want something simple on GPT. For everything else, local gen can cover a lot of bases. Here's a robot-faced shopkeeper for my si-fi setting I'd gen'd locally.
I've heard local is getting better image-to-image tech as of late, but I haven't had a chance to try it myself. I'm still using A1111. I need to upgrade to comfy UI or one of the newer APIs. I'll have to do some research into that because I'd love to do image-to-image locally.
Happy 'Murica Day, /slop/!
"These stones remember my familyโs footfalls and the blood we spilled upon them. I am the last of my line, bound in silence to this craggy border. I stand sentinel because beyond these ridges stirs a threat none but I should have to face. >>96018372Very clever interpretation of the parameters given, well done.
>>96014669I think Imagen could work for that, I don't know how well it does anime but I messed with these live action style ones at some point. It was also pretty good with adhering to the prompt, with multiple guys doing different things

>>96018511Imagen is good at photorealistic stuff, so is Sora. Bing is naturally dogshit with it, like with most things.
Perchance is pretty neat when it isn't turning the prompt into unimaginable horrors beyond recognition
>>96018675Bing is okay with it if you say it's like a movie screencap from x decade, but it's real bad with more than one subject, especially if they're meant to have a specific pose or do something. Or maybe my Bing prompts just suck, but Imagen seems way better at understanding who or what you're describing, for example stylized text as well. I can get a decent image quality out of Bing but then it's way more of a lottery what's actually going on

>>96018733There's another Imagen one, where it was able to do four distinct weirdos and then put them and all the fluff in the right place as well, I'm curious if it even has any real upper limit if you could just make the prompt as long as you want
