Is it a 'bump' if you reply two minutes later?

It's got some interesting concepts, but I feel like the execution is retardedly bleak to the point that most people will check out and want to stop playing before they close to the final dungeon, and if they get through that, the twist will just make them groan and roll their eyes

If my players want their dead characters to go to an afterlife and play their way through literal hell then I might use this zine. Or not.
English is not my mother tongue so it's double the work to read through one and then translate it.

I really dig the art.

I dunno, it seems, one-note? Not really into these kind of settings, they feel like the authors had one idea and that was it.
Describing it as "liminal" feels like it was inspired by trends on subreddits the author reads rather than anything interesting.

You got through a bunch of extremely elaborate bullshit to find the exit to this hellish realm of ruin and mystery, even sacrificing a party member, and suffering all kinds of extreme hardship... Then you return to the presumably normal fantasy world your player characters presumably came from, go on with your lives, etc. If they ever die, from old age or otherwise, they are immediately shunted back to "The Vast" because you can't ever truly escape it or some shit

All of Feral Indie's stuff (Wyrd and Wild, Cess and Citadel) has great art. I feel like it strikes that balance of not being too realistic but not literal sketches like a lot of zine stuff.

Is a limited colour pallet a guarantor for visual kino?

It definitely helps to establish a consistent mood, and encourage interpretation, both useful for 'theme' books like Vast and Wyld.
