Countdown to GW legal drama slop
Gotta love how some 70iq retards is about to be nuked for charging for 40K Homebrew. Genuinely can't wait for a bunch of has been YouTubers to cry about the inevitable C&D. Genuinely can't imagine a practice that ruins this hobby more than pay walling homebrew.

Of course there are going to be idiots paying for it, it's the internet, but holy fuck that's lame. Is this some D&D thing where it's been normalized that things that people used to do of love of the hobby now needs to be hidden on a patreon?

Yes. Yes it is and I hate it so much.
I think it is also pretty dumb of the creator to do this with the 40k IP as GW is insane when it comes to 'protecting it's IP' AKA destroying any fan content. Especially when it means the creator can profit off of the IP in any way.

This same artist made an art piece out of spite by drawing a negative stereotype that right wing aligned Warhammer fans would come up with.

A Helltaker style artist drew a sequel to it.

Point being is that this is the type of artist that seems to get off to pissing people off while portraying himself in a positive light as if needing enemies to justify existence.
That's the general impression or "vibes" I get from that artist after "she" (or is it he?) drew the female space marine in wheel chair artwork.

Maybe you could say this artist is a "grifter" through using 40k to get clout on social media.

It wouldn't quite work with either of them.
Sororitas are, ultimately, going to be straight maid art with a bit of 40k chrome daubed on top. They're still women, after all. Even if they're shown as pissed off about it, it's not like tsundere/reluctant/resentful maid art/characters have never been done before.
AdMech: maybe a bit more you can play with here, but you're effectively going to be recycling the Robot Butler tropes. Perhaps more reliant on wordplay for potential humour rather than art.
The marines, though, are the old "big burly man in cute frilly outfit" juxtaposed absurdity. You get the joke at a glance, similar to the related one I've seen somewhere of the Imperial Knight Maid Cafe.
A full codex though? Really, it's another example of a quick, one-panel "mild smile" joke being stretched beyond its limits and ran so far into the ground it's probably spelunking at this point.

Allow me to play Devil's Advocate for a moment:

Why shouldn't someone charge other people to use their homebrew? They put in the work to make it, you didn't. And if you like it enough that you want to use it, then you should compensate the creator, just like you compensate Games Workshop for their "official" rules and models.

Morally speaking, I don't care.
Legally speaking, however, 40k is a British IP so by the Berne convention it's bound by British IP law even here in America. You are not entitled to any money for anything you do using GW's IPs. Full Stop, no exceptions, no wiggle room.
