The new episode was peak and now I want doujins with Kagetsu and Ruka having fights(sex) for three days and three nights culminating with Kagetsu proposing with an epilogue of him wearing a wedding ring still running his shop while Ruka goes back to America as a recognized pro having a ton of fights(sex) with other men
Michiru was looking at Ruka's boobs.

Is Veissrugr saved?
Ah, so this confirms that Michiru defeated Ruka last season. Someone add it to the wiki pls.
>>96070133Not until he gets his power creep triple driving boss upgrade.
>>96069759As he should. Her dress is provocative and her overall style is bizarre like a prostitutes thats on the road.
>>96070133This admittedly does a lot for the deck but I don't think it's enough.
>>96070133From what I saw in the board states, it's probably EB3 to rip a <Lunarite> from deck, since Kagetsu had no energy at the end of his turn.
>didn't forget to charge his Energy, since he had some charged by the end of Ruka's grade 2 turn> Roztnir used a counterblast to draw during his final turn, and he only used the skill once since his hand size started at 5>called 2, went -0 off of Gullmani since he went up to 6 from 5 with Helgvarr's skill> ended on 7 hand cards due to the draw trigger, so there isn't a discard cost on paper>Helgvarr never used CB herself since she went into soul before Veiss' CB when Kagetsu had 1 face down damage andended with all 4 face down in a combination of Roztnir, Veissruger and Garzorums' effects
>Helgvarr was the last card in his soul by the end of the game, Kagetsu soulblasted his ride line and then SC'd her, meaning there isn't a SB cost
Helgvarr is very like EB3 on place, at the very least by card effect though possibly on regular call, to rip a <Lunarite> from
deck at no other cost and add it to hand in a +1 to hand, which would be pretty fair since Lithosargour is straight up draw
1 for EB3 when placed and this filters out extremely key pieces of its deck on top of that, but likely requires an effect to do
so as a condition.
This is ultimately a compression of Bobalmine and Pantera the Slasher for Energy instead of dropping a hand card and
doesn't recycle it back to the bottom after use, but it will cost you a regular Moon Gate use unless you run that damn
RR dracokid and saw it the turn prior, and all that does is zero sum the soul she gives in addition of requiring waiting a
turn unless you either don't Moon Gate on grade 2 or went second.
Is it also just me, or does Helgvarr kind of look like a genderbent Greion from a distance?

>>96070133AUTO: When this unit is placed on (RC) during any phase except battle phase, choose a grade 3 "Veissrugr" unit
from your ride deck, and reveal it. If you do or have a Grade 3 or greater "Veissrugr" on (VG), perform one of the
following and shuffle your deck.
- Look at the top 5 cards of your deck and reveal up to 1 card with "Veissrugr" in its card name or Order/Lunarite
card from among them and add it to your hand.
- If you Persona Rode this turn, [COST: Energy Blast 3], search your deck for up to one Order/Lunarite card,
reveal it and add it to your hand
AUTO: At the end of the battle this unit boosted, if you have a Grade 3 or greater "Veissrugr" vanguard, [COST:
put this unit into soul] and Counter Charge 1.
So you're telling me they compressed FIVE fucking cards into one, and the deck probably still isn't tier 1.
>Glitchepicenter (searches top cards for Order, but doesn't minus in return for being top 5)>Baldareid (checks top 5 for potential Persona Ride)>Pantera the Slasher (searches deck for Order)>Bobalmine (goes into soul at the end of battle to countercharge)>Ravnorowg (Mythisch that can boost)
This card can be played from drop, and you can play this if you have a "Veissrugr" vanguard and your opponent's vanguard is Grade 3 or greater!
Bind this card, and choose one of your vanguards and it gets [CONT: all of your "Mythisch"
rearguards get +5000 power] until end of turn.
>>96095508So it's the piss order without the CB cost? I guess the drop effect makes it good as discard fodder as well
>>96096267It can't highroll 20k or make 15k magic number boosts, but keep in mind that if you meet the conditions for this, then it's equivalent to hitting a
20k highroll pitbull-bird column if you have a snake-bird column.
Garzo' and Ravno' make for a 45k column with this baby, and that's before Persona Ride and Veissrugr bump it up to 60k, which is unavoidable
if you Garzorums attack extended last turn and it gets targeted immunity, unless they're Ignis, Rakshasa or some shit.
It also means you don't have to minus to start pushing with the massive snake and can still use 2 damage to pop off with 5 attacks; I've seen
people downplay how useful Garzorums is and I think this will make people realize that Garzorums is a nearly unreasonably massive beatstick.
70k is Garzorum's peak with Persona Ride, Gullmani and boosted by the bird after Veissrugr attacks; there is a reason Weasmay was CB 1
and an opposing grade 3 vanguard for this kind of shit back in DZ-BT01.
Thinking Garzorums is something you want to get rid of ASAP is one of the most low IQ takes I've seen from the TCG side and this will put on
display why Garzorums was so restricted as a beatstick; with the ability to play an Order pretty much every turn, after the opponent hits grade 3,
they will almost always have to inevitably stare down at least a 50k Gazorums every single turn, on top of how hard the deck can sack.
Helgvarr only makes this even more consistent with countercharging, filtering for Veissrugr or Lunarites, and even straight up ripping Gullmani
if you have happen to find your pieces.
Veissrugr's final Persona Ride turn can look like
>at least 33k, up to 43k Helgvarr/Roztnir column that opens up the required CB, plus a front row retire that ignores Bracing Angel Ladder>43k Veissrugr, minimum, with a very hot Twin Drive>TWO 58/60k Garzorums, bare minimum numbers with either power up Order, and up to 68/70k each if you highroll with Gullmani
>>96096555Looks like Kagetsu should have beaten Ruka
>>96097642To be fair, she had to both damage check a heal during his Gullmani turn and then sack on a triple drive to win since his ass also was pulling bullshit by having two PGs, the fodder Lunarite and a Persona Ride in hand, so he could've just used that to push hard next turn, especially since she drew the order on her triple drive.
Speaking of her deck, it's literally just a remastered version of Sephirogila in Stoicheia; she deadass has an EB3 act skill that not only checks top five
for any unit to call, but it can also add her Order to hand and if she calls one of her Paradise units, it gets 5k for the turn. She also has both Triple Drive
and a restand effect for any rearguard, even if the opponent is grade 2. Nannaclir is even more generic than Sephirogila since it doesn't rely on
fucking Espereidea or, Gui forbid, SPALLATION REACTOR DRAGON, for multiattacks, though at the cost of lacking Dragontree markers and not having
the retrained G2 Wretches that can tutor Persona Ride straight from deck.
The order itself either recurs a Paradise rearguard from drop directly to the board or giving one of your Paradise rearguards 5k and the effect to
get a critical when restood while your world is Stray Garden, neither of course having a grade restriction, in all explaining why those two Zorga orders
got errata'd, on top of them being fairly generic and not futureproofed; it also can also draw you a card when revealed by any Paradise card's effect,
Nannaclir or not, so Nannaclir ripping it off of her EB skill goes +2 for EB3, since it also reveals the card like many searchers do.
Suffice to say, Nannaclir going quadruple drive or swinging twice with a 2 crit rearguard would make Veissrugr's Gullmani going first turns look tame;
I could see that being what Kagetsu was thinking of when he said he was crushed by her, and I haven't even taken the time to see what the Paradise
rearguards actually do.
>>96095460>So you're telling me they compressed FIVE fucking cards into one, and the deck probably still isn't tier 1.Of course not. Its still behind the power curve that things like Bav and Heartluru have where theres an extra bit of pressure to guarantee the win
Aksayya getting to essentially Impauldio Divine Skill every fucking turn while also getting a front row nuke and a draw engine is some wackass game balance, even after Vairlord is set to one
Trickmoon being a consistent double recursion due to Cindi is also wackass, all this because they forgot they made many strong cards balanced around a 3 attack deck before it eventually got a multiattacker that Impauldio still doesnt ha ve
As for Heartlulu, can someone explain how the fuck they made that deck function right out the box while it took Veissrugr as long as X-overDress to become a functional yet still tier 2 deck? That shit got a guard restrict, critical restander and even has a Roztnir for SB1 and that was just in the booster it came in, while Veissrugr still only has above average endgame numbers and relies on a somewhat heavily filtered twin drive while these two get to have triple drive
>>96099605My schizo theory is that they do it on purpose.
They expect anime decks to be popular regardless of power level so they go out of their way to spread it's support across multiple different sets so that fans now have to be every set. They did the same to Youthberk. Absolutely neutered support so they can better support later.
For decks like Heartlulu it's the opposite they probably don't expect the deck to be popular just based off aesthetic so they make it powercreep instead to encourage pulling for it.
>>96100141Speaking of Youth, I go to the official website and see that it unironically lists NONE of the new support for a suggested deck list and instead it's just Keter Pile with the persona shield generator, corino and the new Youthberks and ride line; it's not even proper Youth Pile with the order from D-BT06 that also works with the normal pile and in spite of the deck's soul issues due to how Rebuild kind of fucks up the soul
They cooked so bad that even they aren't insane enough to even suggest using the support that comes in the booster
>>96100256That's what I'm saying, they 100% knew the support was bad but released it anyway
Dooringen being an objectively worse Decisive Axe Dragon thats only a Battledore instead of a straight up Elementaria or hard guard with only triggers, and also can't be doubled up on a high roll kill turn like the latter.
At least Duidelijk would be a half-decent card if Pile wasnt a thing, but is still pretty outdated with how comparable to Schneizel it is
>>96100972Duidelijk being a CB1 to look at top 5 was almost an insult. If you whiff you just lose the CB, when so many other decks get to look at top 7 and also refund the cost if they whiff. Like seriously what were they thinking?
>>96099605Aksayya wouldnt be that bad if they just watched the fucking powers it can hit. Bringing everything up to the same 3 triggers to guard standard when not every deck is not designed to do piece removal or have easy access critical is incredibly stupid. Theres like zero trade off anymore for having big numbers and its homogenizing in a damaging way. Thanks to her every non restanding, decent boss from now on seems to be adopting the standard of going +1 drive and things that dont (See: Granifia Julament) is just gonna be trash that cant keep up and the relevance of normal twin drive amongst all the triple and restanders is kinda something I found cool about D card design.
>finally reunite with your crush

Jesus wept.
>>96102157Ruka slept with every men in Black Out
>>96102157Jesus would be proud that Kagetsu is attempting to conquer such an experienced hole
>>96102157gonna be honest, while he was pretty human and people tend to exaggerate how much of a crashout and simp he is, his whole "reason for playing Vanguard" is a bit too simple for how long it took for us to hear it; at least Helgvarr made the deck tier 2 after half a year
maybe its just one of those things where they cant be direct with what this is actually about and ESPECIALLY with what we know those three days and nights are supposed to imply
it's like, he basically became a bum over the fact he couldnt tell this one girl he liked how hes a tryhard, which is in spite of the fact i think his ass felt like cruising through the Deluxe with a deliberately maloptimized version of his own deck by not including the best Mythisch until he got to fight her, or the best order that never goes minus when it hits the drop, which would be the most chad thing this guy did that cements him as a top fighter if not for his woman problem
Will my wife ever get a physical card?
>>96101484Veissrugr being probably an eternal twin drive is one of the appeals to me, as the idea is, instead of having filter with a triple drive like a lot of decks, it's instead some of the hardest filtering in format with a more limited twin drive to compensate, which feels like a shift from the normal schema of regular filters and triple/extra drive checking like in Youthberk or Sephirogila.
Another thing is that, strangely, Veissrugr almost embodies everything about vanguard: it's luck-based with its premise, it almost focuses on trigger sacking for offense and defense with how hot it can make its twin drive and damage checks, it uses Normal Orders as a staple along with a set order, it uses all three resources extensively and it has certain effects that defy conventional game rules like attacking multiple things at once and attacking from the back row, even if these are far from unique effects; I was hoping Helgvarr might do something with the drop zone but instead they just made a Lunarite that does that by default, which would have helped her stay on theme with the other two as convention defiers.
I'm also hoping they don't fuck up the lore, the premise of the Moonkeepers and Mythisch has a lot of potential and from what I might reckon a guess, the Mythisch possibly being survivors of previous lunarian apocalypses is a cool idea after the red moon disease was revealed and as it turns out, all three ancestor Mythisch have red moons in their backgrounds, and also what exactly the Mythisch are supposed to be in terms of physiology hasn't been elaborated upon apart from apparently using solar power according to Ravnorowg's flavor text; however at the same time I'm seeing Veissrugr somehow and constantly crossing his huge fucking arms and trying to aura farm and now he gets stoned in the latest unit story by Nannaclir the drug dealer who's being pursued by law enforcement.
>>96083697could she live out of being a Vtuber/OF instead?
>>96106340She's a woman, so yes
>>96104158I wonder what's next for Veissrugr? New form? New mythischs forever?
>>96107006If they errata that fucking Heroic Deeds to have a continuous Mythisch name via effect and plus off of being Moon Gated, like if you Moon Gate it then you can rip a Mythisch from order zone after souling itself and if called then you can put a Mythisch from drop into the Order Zone, that may or may not be a good addition; between having immense sacking power, really good defensive power due to the shield boosts and the trigger rates, and Garzorums being a consistent 45k/50k beatstick past turn 4 minimum, adding a guard restrict could be dicey and hard due to how the engine works.
Veissrugr is simultaneously awkward to make new cards for and yet has so much flexibility in how they can support it; it's not like Veissrugr itself is a bad VG, but the deck is just too balanced. It lowkey feels like they conceptualized a deck from early D, retrained it for DZ and now it's in an awkward state of trying to fix it without accidentally breaking it, which we saw with Garzorums and OSV and only after a few more months of it doing nothing do they create the 5-in-1 and a recurring half-Gullmani that STILL don't feel like they broke the deck from what my playtesting suggests.
I can see how Veissrugr, in the anime, might've worked where the Moon Gate needed to use Veissrugr's skill to actually use back when it was in the same format as Drajeweled, and the gate only got the EB3 and rest effect when Energy became a thing and the meta game got faster, so they turned Moonkeepers from a slower, midrange deck into a rapid filterer. Garzorums feels comparable to Rockargour in terms of design and the deck is so modular, while Helgvarr feels like one of those "build a card" cards that exists primarily to unfuck a deck's issues and is usually a promo.
>>96106340She should use her knowledge of events 3 years into the future to do meta-insider trading, considering how little should have actually changed aside from D3 happening.

The fact she got cooked by the deck in brackets was a deliberate strategy to only increase the value of those counterfeit DSR Vairlords and Secret Rare Cindis she should also convince Kiyokura Group executives to produce.

Will they make the next vanguard f2p.....
>>96112878Just make another gacha, D-Zero
I don't know why they don't just realize Cardfight Area is made in fucking BYOND and has survived for so damn long because a playerbase doesn't give too much shits as long as a client is at least free by default
Sure, a large chunk of why Master Duel and Arena have been profitable is due to the IPs being decades ahead of Vanguard and having either the history or the publicity to ride off the coattails of, but is no way they couldn't just try to experiment with a decent emulator that uses a similar freemium model, even as a one-off experiment.
Instead they're trying to copy Nintendo with 70$ overpriced games that resemble the automotive industry with how much shit they try to cram in to inflate the price; you're telling me they couldn't just look at CFA and then make a slightly better version for 10$ or some shit?
>>96113159BYOND is kino, it had some of the best YGO games too. The devs for this engine had some insane dedication.
>>96114280CFA is a pretty good emulator for something made with a game engine from the '90s.
That and Space Station 13 make it a home name, but that just makes it seem like Bushiroad is cheap as hell for not being able to top it after over a decade in the business; they recycled EX's engine and then resold a similar experience for a markup
I can get selling a caramel jar with no caramel, we call it audacity, but being outdone by an emulator made with retrofitted 90s software is embarrassing
>>96114280That yugioh game looks freaking sick. Where did all the fun games go? Everything is so bland nowadays. I actually appreciate CFA for not being like that.
>>96097642She had way too much wiggle room by being at 2 damage on his Persona turn so no way. Kagetsu was quite lucky in that fight too. Because in that 3 damage she took in one turn she only saw 1 trigger and then theres those sentinels he was able to hoarde through his draws rather than seeing triggers.
>>96112878Nope enjoy dear days 3 priced at the new inflation proper price of 79.99 plus tax
>>96115209might just be that theres so many options that the gems are obscured
i swear CFA was listed on the wiki somewhere at some point
>>96115623Her being at 2 damage screwed him in the long haul, but she admits that she needed to sack to win, and knowing what Alfini does
means we know he was clapping back hard with two top decks, a double Moon Gate and at least 20k to the front row with Veiss, Alfini and
Persona Ride with a bird and massive snake still on board, she wasn't surviving that by a damn sight at 5 damage.
She would've been in hotter water if she didn't check a functioning Heal, though, even a Draw would've been better for Kagetsu considering
how hot that turn was, although she probably did have all 4 still in deck by then and saw some Fronts in hand so it's not unreasonably lucky
she hit at least one heal that turn; she did need to get lucky to not hit it when she was at 4 damage since it wouldn't work. She also would have
likely missed Persona Ride that turn if she couldn't take one more hit, even if she Draw triggered into another PG, unless she hard drew into
it on what was her kill turn.
It's more so how not only is her deck straight up worse than a post-DZ set 10 Veissrugr, she also went second when her deck very much
wants to go first, and won first and foremost by sacking on Triple Drive, albeit Kagetsu made the most logical play since a rearguard was
already swinging lethal critical and hitting another critical meant any other incoming attack was also going lethal.
But like shit, even a DZ-BT08 Veissrugr deck is probably better than what we saw Ruka have simply because it has Gullmani and filters,
although that might be a stretch; Veissrugr's support in DZ-BT10 is so fucking good that it's at least a tier 2 deck and arguably a lower
end rogue deck if not for being hard countered by Dragon Empire and being a strictly worse Heartlulu; currently Nannaclir is roughly
tier 3 due to lacking a means of pushing for game.

>>96115958The more I look over the new support the more I'm actually excited about the deck. A lot of problems got fixed with this last wave.
It sucks having to buy 3 dollar commons only to start dropping copies now that Hel is out though. I feel for my friend who bought into the hype.
>>96117793Birds being over 2$ a piece back when they came out is pretty wack, but to be fair, they were experimenting with the Moon Gate engine and had to make a way for people to prototype it and, importantly, find the ratios, which at this point honestly don't even matter since Helgvarr is all four cards the deck seriously demanded all rolled into a slightly more awkward Ravnorowg at 8k.
Bird is still extremely useful for budget Moon Gate because every sodden Ancestor Mythisch for the deck would be catastrophically expensive if not for just how weak the deck was for months on end, and one of the points of the bird is that it's NEVER bad to see: it can boost turn 3 onwards, it can serve as a 25k front row swing in a pinch that's now 35k past turn 4 onwards or going second, it can switch places after going for early game rush and isn't all that painful to shove into drop or used as guard fodder for shuffling back in shit like Garzorums.
Garzorums is probably the biggest problem child of the deck at the moment, because it's currently the only actual garnet in deck that's extremely bad to have in hand unless you're going second since it's only a huge beatstick going second or on turn 4, which is EXTREMELY slow when the dog is already an option for early game beating and drawing and Helgvarr also going online as a Bobalmine on turn 3, helps with rushing and filters like no tomorrow for your kill turn pieces while being pretty hard to remove if you went first since you'll get her Bobalmine off before the opponent hits grade 3.
>>96115958Going through the play by play again, Kagetsu didn't see a single damage trigger that entire fucking game despite playing god damn Moonkeepers, and especially post-DZ-BT10 Moonkeepers; his damages were also all bad in general
>Ravnorowg, not the worst>Garzorums, a garnet he could've used on his Gullmani kill turn that could've won him the game if he got it in his Moon Gate over a Roztnir since it would've swung 60k to Ruka's 53k guard after triggers>a PG, that would've been handy even if he did managed to hold onto two regardless>another Rav', that late in the game but not too bad>the new Order, right when a damage trigger would've demanded a triple trigger sack>Persona damage, per usual, didn't matter since he already had Persona in handIn comparison, she hit an early game critical that set him to two and he effectively let her get away with a decent turn 3 since he played for resources for his turn 3, rather than going for the Eilift rushdown on turn 3 like he did with Akina that would've been enabled by even a single Helgvarr on board and total 5 attacks against grade 2.
As a matter of fact, his ass didn't even see Helgvarr whatsoever until late in the game despite presumably running her at four, Moon Gating twice and drawing off of Roztnir; him hard drawing into Gullmani was irrelevant when he used Helgvarr's search anyway; his turn 3 was also just what Nannaclir could've asked for as Kagetsu decided to target rearguards against a deck with recursion instead of playing the matchup and bumrushing, which would've made more sense with what we currently know since Nannaclir doesn't pop off worth shit even with all that CB to work with and Helgvarr enabling Gullmani with two damage.
I have a feeling they weren't sure what either the Order or Helgvarr fully did until after the episode aired but either way, Kagetsu's luck was kind of shit that fight in spite of seeing the necessary pieces for that turn 4

I DONT CARE IF IT WAS ONLY A VAIRLORD AND TWO TRICKMOONS THEY SHOULDVE BURNED TO THE GROUND AS MICHIRU MADE OFF WITH DANJI
First the Vairlord to one, then only Dragveda removed, and now they don't even humble Mirei's 0:3 using a tier 0 deck against a deck that would've slightly countered her deck's peak boardstate; credit where credit is due, I can appreciate how raunchy this season has been across all of two actual episodes, but come on man

Mirei didnt really have to guard the initial Lith attack. If she just took it she would have saved herself 48k in shield. If she intercepted that likely wouldve been enough to win.
New Drajeweled looks hella fucking weak though because they omitted the retirement the G4 gave.

We know Megumi is going to job and it was already a pleasant surprise what a strong run she's had, but I wonder how they'll actually make that match up interesting. We had two great ones so far, Erika vs Suo has a very strong narrative weight even if he's losing for sure. Megumi and Akina's connection is that she happened to be the witness to Akina having his sexual awakening.

Not sure why it reminded me of that but it seemed rather specific enough to almost feel like a reference, especially given the Buddyfight collab going on.

>>96126859Yeah, weird to see such a big misplay in the show.
New Drajeweled is interesting, turn 4 it makes the same numbers Ignis does but you swap out the backrow wipe for a rearguard drive check.
You probably just do a Bastion Accord and play both.
Why was this episode so well animated.

I love watching Michiru play. I feel like I'm deepening my knowledge of the game even if it's just a little bit.
>>96133342That might just be Bifrons being a borderline overpowered card if not for her ass being an entire CB1, but probably the best CB1 to draw in format
Like straight up Veirmeil's unique skill is arguably worse than Bifrons if you don't have two cards in Order Zone and Bif can be used more than once and can set up the soul for certain decks; it would probably get Almajestar archetype locked if it was in Brandt Gate due to being nearly Veirmeil on crack like how the Zorga Orders were straight up too synergistical with Nannaclir and outmoded Cead Mile Failte, albeit they were already getting on with their years with shit like quadruple driving Sephirogila against grade 2 on high roll
Also I think the subtitles were shitting themselves a bit. I think Kagetsu was saying that Michiru knew damn well that being on two damage that early against a going second Bav was practically a death knell, which is why he was grabbing defensive pieces for her turn 3; also explains why he wouldn't go for Ignis since it wasn't worth it given her reduced hand size and greater odds of sacking with Magnus' four drives in all and equivalent power boost due to Mangus' 5k and the Persona Ride.
As a matter of fact, he probably knew damn well Ignis was too slow for the matchup and probably side decked it out; he'll have more reason to break it out against Akina's slower deck, but that's wishful thinking
>>96133138There's a man faced woman there
>>96121205 so Mirei mogs
>>96133751He would have jobbed if Mirei wasn't being stupid for plot reason anyway
>>96133751The big thing for me is how they verbalize the concepts.
There's an unconscious understanding to it, obviously you want to spam out Bifrons + Focalors in Draj but phrasing it as "creating winning patterns and eliminating losing patterns" feels like a sleep agent activation command. A lot of his post game discussions explain a strat he employed like guarding early vs Mag which is refreshing.
Should Mirei have won? Probably. That first Lithos was the only attack guaranteed to be crit 1 but you could just say she didn't know Magnus's text so she didn't know about a second twin drive coming her way, people don't read their opponents cards after all.
The subtitles did make it a little difficult to parse what he meant but thankfully it's pretty clear that he was talking about dying on turn 3 after getting crit.
Curious how the deck is going to evolve going forward. It doesn't have the cb1 draw of the original Drajeweled so even if the rest of the rideline is better I'm curious if Magnus is going to turn into it's own build or be the new g3 for ignis builds.
The rear guard drivecheck changes math slightly compared to the regular trip drive on vanguard, so even 5 attack turns aren't strictly worse but you can do a 5 attack turn with the Ignis g1 while still doing 4 drive checks.
Is it true Gundam is destroying Hololive? We even got a head start since Gundam has only released starters. They are laughing at us in /acg/.

>>96135388He would've gotten smoked if that was full powered Aksayya, and even post banlist she played like shit by not loading up on Trickmoons and boosting one of the Yyugs with Vairlord and then swung hard with a Trickmoon dressBoosted Bav' that would've demanded more than the Overtrigger to guard; losing to Bav' is far from jobbing when it's still a top tier 1 deck
At least Kagetsu had somewhat shitty luck, Mirei just played like hogass because Vairlord and Trickmoon are supposed to be "special"; at that point they might as well just errata those two to only work when boosting Bav', which is kind of odd how they don't, but that would absolutely gut Bav's numbers catastrophically in an environment where giving at least two attacks 30k every turn for free is why the deck remains strong, in addition to Apalra and Yyugmashad being disgusting plusers along with the shield being able to be turned into a Pot of Greed by calling Samadhi and then ultimately recuring Vairlord via Cindi somewhere else in addition to being a de facto SB1 to draw into a 20k shield every turn, and SB2 to nuke the front row and gain crit pressure regardless of the opponent's grade and stealing Impauldio's divine skill
>>96135540It was a lot more than just Bifrons, poor bastard only used it once, but that one usage can go a long way, especially since you don't have to reveal the card you add to hand.
Drive check does add to the pressure, as going -1 to get it is the standard and decks were willing to go -2 for just one as Ye Wandering Souls has been a pressure staple in many a Stoicheia deck for a while; it's basically 10k pseudo pressure that might just kill your ass and it was basically the equivalent of making the rearguard going critical and have a vaguer power value
Definitely competes with Ignis in faster games but even in the current format of immense plusing and recursion, that back row nuke on Ignis is nuts if the game drags on.
>>96135621>DBS between two Bushi propertiesTrapped. And. Betrayed.
>>96135621Is this why Bushiroad keeps shilling their in house bands instead of checking back with BUSHI7 and JAM Project or is it functionally free to just get the in house bands to make music?
But when I look into it, at the least, all of the intros in Divinez aren't in house, which makes me wonder if it's just part of the aesthetics change
>>96137863The latest opening is a bang dream group.
>>96138626And all of the upcoming EDs, although I will admit that they're starting to grow on me; Zeal of Proud was pretty damn good for in house
Mad respect for them going for allegedly 10 different ED animations, might also where be where the budget's going; I didn't check Feathered Dreams because the wiki lacked a page for it and thus the intros in a timeline stopped at DZS3's opening
>>96135596Probably, I thought he'd start appearing a bit more after his cameo at the end of S2, but he still hasn't shown up.
Looking at Geodrahl, I'm coming up with a Drajeweled deck's Veidrock with it being a CB1 to soulcharge off the top and toolbox from soul, in addition to probably being a Vinschtar with a much easier requirement for the full twin drive in return for lacking a quadruple driving Vangaurd swing, rather than Veidrock's huge power scaling
And as if Drajeweled didn't already have Zagan in the Ignis build, and you can almost certainly run both in a newer Ignis build with Magnus in ride deck, but might be Magnus locked and brick if you go into Ignis; that Demonic Stone Dragon searcher became a lot more practical with Magnus demanding the archetype on board to get the extra drives
I think if Magnus is basically an Impauldio when going second, in addition to a second soul toolbox in Geodrahl, that would help massively since Drajeweled is currently like Dragontree where it desperately prefers going first, I feel; although i'm more interested in seeing if this changes how scuffed the hybrid Masque variant already would be by trying to fit Magnus support, Masque support and Ignis support in the same build
that last bit's probably too bricky to make functional, at least until we get a G2 Dragontree Wretch retrain for Dark States that lets it rip Drajeweled Masques straight from deck and EB3 for the Masque to immediately get the pop off right then and there, and even then Magnus' support might be hard locked; I heard Lianorn Masque manages to see play if the pilot is cracked enough to work with her inclusion, but Magnus might just make Masques unnecessary if it can sodden quadrive with five attacks going second.
>>96135595>Gundam TCG>Implying Bandai wouldn't just either reboot it or ditch it altogether within five years given its previous history with Gundam WarThat and I am not sure whether TCG players and vtuber watchers really intersect that well internationally since playing the game requires you to touch grass
Anyone here play Shadowverse Evolve?
The digital client for Shadowverse Worlds Beyond launched a month and some change ago, but it's left something to be desired compared to the first game's early metas, and I can't really go back to that game for such an experience. I know Evolve is a totally different beast, but how does it play? I like the sound of the mechanical changes they made to it.
>>96140094The really nice thing with Ignis + Magnus is that you can do a 5 attack turn while still getting the quad drive by using the Ignis locked G1.
Honestly I'm thinking of just using Ignis as a garnet to use the rears that reveal it or an occasional flex ride up to kill backrows.
Deckspace sounds a bit too tight for that though.
Is picrel good for double sleeve a Max Rarity deck?
>>96150356This also fully denies the possibility of a possibly hextuple drive in total off of Magnus since Magnus only gives the drive check ability on attack, which is when all of the restands in deck activate off of the soul blast
Also teching in the Masque engine would become a lot less impractical if we get the Chemdah retrain that grabs both pieces for EB3 and CB1, although Magnus is damn near self sufficient going second with the 5k boost, set to 0 over Masques' set to 1 and the likelihood of quadruple driving immediately like an Impauldio divine skill split between two attacks but without a Vindschtar
Masques being CB1 for an inferior power set is also a bite in the ass on top of the theoretical retrained Chemdah also CB1ing and the multiattackers need CB1 each unless you specifically have Empousa and Varpula for potentially lower numbers; a tad disappointing how rough Drajeweled Masques is to run with Magnus on the rise
Liael Dragonis better have something that can block Nannaclir's 10 attacks

>>96151303If we're talking just decks, Megumi would've unironically cooked Kagetsu with how bad his luck was if it was her and not Ruka
Not a SINGLE damage trigger the whole game against Magnolia bites, especially when you're playing Moonkeepers who should have some of the best damage checks in the game and with a hand that bricky
>>96150747Masque build would be very nice as an option but yeah, not setting to 0 means it's often making the same guarding numbers even if paired with the persona ride. Something like Empousa.
I really do hope we that Chemdah retrain though, I want to play Almajestars with a Masques build.
>>96154647The delay on the retrained Masque searchers is one of the things holding back Sephirogila in non-Dragon Empire nations, that and especially the lack of a universal multiattacker which confines its viability to Dragon Empire, to say nothing of how a one-card enabler for a Masques going second pop off turn 3 and otherwise a persona ride searcher would be extremely nice for literally every deck that would include a Masque
I get that they would preferably make a Masques unit in addition to each retrain but like damn, it's only two RR slots that they can spread across individual boosters, plus Dark States already has three Masques units and only the most recent Masques nations added get the retrain; I also think Orfist Masques would really appreciate getting rid of Psyber in favor of some shit like Allen Kaitzul since that deck and Ominagruzio are currently Masque centralized, or at least the latter, but bushi instead decided to buff Gandeeva and also give it a one-card going second pop off enabler in addition to letting people use another Stirgna as of late.
On a similar topic, coincidentlaly, Nannaclir has a built in multiattack as well as a similar EB3 to plus off of the top five and access to a triple drive like Sephirogila; it also heralded the removal of the Dragontree Stoicheia deck's synergy with the piss order; also at this point we should be seeing the LM Dragontree rearguards at some point if the Sephirogila lore is any indicator, although I'm not sure how they'll achieve proper sapience since the Wretches are described as robotic. It'd be interesting if they do something similar to Rock instead of the usual Masques unit, or maybe a Reverse Cradle
Is this the final DivineZ season? Feels like an "Everyone is here" celebration except for Halona
>>96155474This is the fourth cour and technically fourth season of Divinez, although it feels more of an extension of season 3
Definitely has wrap up vibes with how fast Kagetsu got one of the better Ws all things considered and especially considering how much effort they're putting into the EDs of all things by making a total of ten from what's been said
>>96155220Worst part is that we're probably going to have to wait for DBT12 for new Masques stuff at the soonest.
>>96156200Honestly, I could see Ominagruzio support in DZ-BT11 considering all of the callback support it has.
And when the retrained Chemdah for Dark States comes out, Astroea can actually make due with running a balanced set of Stella and Masques and go into either-or since Masques has better scaling while Stella can theoretically be a one or two of and still chain into Persona Rides regardless; making Masques work off of finding a single card would help with Stella's poor going second power
>>96155474>>96155712Seems like it's going to be a wrap up with tournament followed by a few episodes to end character arcs.
The framing device of Akina turning in his third year job goals pre graduation plus Nao leaving pretty much puts a timer on the DivineZ story ending
At least Magnus CAN go for the quadruple drive going second, assuming it manages to eat four damage by then; the 5k front row boost being locked behind souling a Drajeweled before the battle phase might be a problem but the deck has Bifrons to work with and can just Empousa the Magnus in pure Magnus builds anyway
Not the worst thing, and Geodrahl turns out to be generic Drajeweled support with a focus on Magnus, so Zagan might be replaced due to the flexibility of Geodrahl, albeit Geo does cost energy that could be used on Lithos while Zagan's is free if you rip a Varpula or somehow a Cranium, so it's build dependent if Zagan gets ditched
Ignis is still required to get a five attack on Magnus' quadrive turn since Geodrahl can't inherently restand, so including Ignis is still the way to go with Magnus making for a halfway decent going second turn if you're massively behind compared Masques, unless the latter gets some Veissrugr levels of countercharge availability and not that poor bastard Cranium Burner
>>96140094As it turns out, the searcher is still useless as it searches Demonic STONE Dragons, as in the 'argours or fucking Matelvaara and both Jewelneels and not the Demonic JEWEL Dragons that Magnus requires, which is all of Rystal Galer, Geodrahl and any serious G3 Drajeweled if, for some dipstick reason, you decided to Zagan or, flat-out trolling, Geodrahl that shit out
Ignis and the trial deck Drajeweled are, respectively, a slightly altered Demonic Jewel TRUE Dragon on top of being a brick until you ride into it since it's a G4 in a deck that has grade locked toolboxing, and just completely missing the name altogether, so they're not viable targets for a Magnus skill
Off topic, but all three of the Bav' support are kind of ass due to Bav's preexisting support being just that fucking busted; there's a useless common that souls itself for all of 5k, worse than that one Bastion trial deck card that at least gave 10k in a 4 attack deck damn near half a decade ago; a rare that admittedly sounds pretty good on paper if not for being a G3 and only being retire immunity when Apalra is also a filter and can come back for dirt cheap; and an in archetype Shenryi that's effectively conditionless, which would be nearly busted with Bav's built in recursion and plusing if Cindi and Trickmoon weren't a thing you were flooding the backrow with, although it does make for a great cycler if the deck has the space and you still haven't found those two
>>96155474>Halonacardgames are only for grownups, she bidding her time
Now that I think about it, Suo is really fucked considering how not only is he going against someone who's presenting new support and also in the intro hyped up as fighting the MC, but on top of that has a card that lets her nullify during his Divine Skill turn that demonstrably fucked over his kill turn in season 1; this is going to be just like that time Kemura broke out Balmung against Genma
At least he's getting the Senka treatment with how his imminent loss can be partially chalked up to a bad matchup, but that didn't really happen with Bav vs. Drajeweled because Michiru didn't go into Ignis and nuke an entire backrow of Vairlords

>>96158807>Bav support is kind of ass??? The G1 is super good. I dont know what youre talking about. Its more draw AND soul set up for Bavsarga and because its a grade 1 she can bring it back. Also note too that its stand ability is in reality generic so it works with stuff like Esperarida and it gains +5k in Bavsargra herself.
Like they just banned the shit out of multiple Vailord usage and in the end all the deck really lost with that son of a bitch being @1 now is just 5k BUT IN RETURN it now gets more draw despite potentially removing 8 cards from the deck.
>>96168514It's not bad, but it does speak for Bav's power level that an upgraded Shenryi is ONLY good and not outstanding like it would be in nearly any other deck.
The draw effect is Bav locked since it requires two Arms and is only an 8k boost on its own, 13k after both restanding and if you have a Bavanguard; admittedly Sephirogila does get some milage out of this since it gets 13k at all times, letting it emulate the full board restand of Griph', but that deck already would want to run Shenryi and that deck's space is pretty tight as is with Espereidea, all of the marker generators and Retsuji along with Shenryi
I think the problem this card entails is that we're probably not getting a Yyugmashad hit anytime soon unless an Apalra/Yyug choice restriction is in the cards. This also doesn't change the fact Michiru would've lost if the Vairlord was used properly and a second Trickmoon was found to boost Bav' with as it would've made it so even Gallmageheld would've been a 1 to pass because Yyug' could swing and front row boost 10k before Bav' swings with Trickmoon's humongous 25k boost
To say it's a bad card by itself is ridiculous, but it ain't no Cindi, Vairlord or Trickmoon; if you can find the space then it's good, very nice, and all it's really competing with is Samadhi since Vairlord's to one so it's not like it's hard to throw in; it just demonstrates how cracked this deck is with all of the other shit considered that it's ONLY good, it compresses a free booster restander and Shenryi in a deck that can recur it and it's not outlandishly good
Also, don't you dare think this is comparable to Vairlord at all, that shit is literally a Persona ride without grade restriction every time it boosts, which is why Bav' would've been able to hit over Gallmageheld with just one trigger with Trickmoon, this is a good card, but it is nothing to Vairlord giving 30k-50k in total power just off of one boost, 150k+ was damn near unstoppable if it got that far
