Ultramarines have an aux detachment that includes a command slot that must be an optae, so they can take unlimited optae (and it's a prime slot so they can even have paragon of battle)

You take a praetor and 3 centurions in the main force. Apex in a command detachment for 2 more centuirions and an optae.
Each of them takes 2 primus demi company aux detachments, which take a prime advantage optae (paragon of battle).

You now spent 1000+ odd points on characters and that enemy herald came in his pants.
