I'm a custodes player in 40K and i wanted to try the opposite end of the spectrum (cannon fodder army), but I worry that the rat models that games workshops offers just aren't sexy enough. I found some suitably busty rats on etsy, though! is it okay to use 3rd party models in your army, or are there rules against it? i'm a casual player, so i'm not doing any faggy GW-funded events.

If you are playing casually at non-GW events then proxies are fine; you still wont be allowed to play at GW stores though.

If its a different LGS then sure go ahead but you will be playing with strangers or around strangers. People tend to not like NSFW/Pinup models (even though they secretly buy them) keep that in mind. You will probably end up playing with friends who dont mind.
