I think that Hollywood slices & chops up so many scripts that whatever the Bill & Ted parts were (if true) would be nearly unrecognizable to the Biodome we got. I've seen a few movies from the 1980s taken and given a modern mindset overhaul and its like its a completely different movie and it completely lacks the things in the OG that made it good. and the modern people don't see anything wrong with this and think their modern mindset being injected over the content that was good is a fine route to go and who cares who it upsets times have changed blah blah. I get it but man they miss the mark so often making movies from the past in a modern setting and mindset.

On the plus I do now watch older movies more and enjoy them for what they are. It seems pre 1950s movies are fairly safe from remakes so I ended up exploring more movies from the silent era up to about 1960s (70s a bit also) and the pre 1950s has some interesting stuff buried in it. Interesting seeing 1940s/50s version of horror movies and than comparing it to 80s or modern horror.
