The EOE lands actually look pretty good
>>96212748Yeah but where are the rest :(
>>96212897the selection seems really weird. now the manabases for different color pairs are all over the place. some pairs like orzhov have both a fastland and a shockland, while selesnya has neither.
>>96212946Im playing grixis and i only got watery grave and lost 6 others. Big sad.

Late start this time, but we here. 2-1 to kick things off on RBw. I think the deck was mostly fine, but the lower end of the curve was severely lacking. 3x hullcarvers is not where you want to be, unfortunately I didn't see many good 2 drops. Other than that, things went pretty well, bombs were bomby and the synergy was there. Circuit feeder is absurd, it counts itself so even just another artifact on board means you're probably sniping something while dropping a 4/4 flier and getting in a few extra points of damage. Landseeker did better than I expected, I was hesitant about the temporary lander but it's good sac fodder and can help with void even without a sac outlet. I did end up crewing the frigate into a creature at one point, I'm not super high on spacecraft but I think anons are underrating them (for limited). I probably should've ran hylderblade, idk what my thought process was there.
I wish I was better at drafting.
>1-3 with some weird abzan amalgamation that did not work how I expected
>1-3 with a UW list
>7-2 with UIW double spell with 2 of the signpost uncommons and two of the unblockable draw 1 cards that just overran people
I really want to get better so I can start going infinite but I'm so inconsistent
>>96212946My selesnya gearhulk/counter deck is hurting right now. Lacking manabase, lost Botanical Brawler and Haywire Mite, I'm sure I can figure something out once I save up some wildcards but I'm still sad.
Ill throw down the link one last time. I made a transcord for this fucking place. The main idea is to use it for draft rigging but if you retards just want to post in there go nuts. If it doesnt really have anyone join ill just destroy the server in a few days. Not a big deal I threw it together in like 5mins.

Funny 3-0 draft with my entire pool being in RG. Never got to play Tezz, but didn't really matter. Greenhouse is nuts, I think generally speaking the best spacecraft will end up being the ones that help crew themselves. It also helped a bunch with war ragers, alongside pollinator. Tannuk is also really good, basically turns every lander token into a clue as well. Wayfarer feels quite strong, I'd happily play as many as I could pick up. Less happy with the kavu, they feel a bit all over the place. Blooming stinger doesn't feel great either.

>>96214260It's been fine so far, definitely more complex than FIN. Both warp and station force you to decide between tempo and value, so you need to be good at reading that. Landers are easy fixing and the cards are pretty strong, I expect multicolor piles to be a bit better than usual.

This was a mess, but still managed to 2-1. RGu pile that I took too long to decide colors for. Lands were sometimes an issue, even with all the landers. Codecracker hound is obviously the best blue uncommon/common in the set, potentially top 3 blue card period. Basically a sidegrade of that one zombie from MID. Eusocial engineering solves the big unplayable enchantment problem by letting you basically make a 2 mana 2/2 with it early, which is very nice. Pollinator puts in work again, it's super easy to have something to tap, plus it's a 1/2 and even an artifact for synergies. Terrapact intimidator is pretty good too, I'm usually not a fan of punisher type cards, but the value here is good enough to justify it when you drop it t2. A fair bit worse on later turns when a 2 mana 4/3 isn't that crazy. Turbodrone has been performing better than I expected, the extra stat boost was helpful for pushing past blockers. Between those and fatemaker, there's a decent amount of damage you can sneak in. Literally never got to cast a bruntar, I probably should've cut one.
How likely is an Elder Scrolls set in the near future?

>Rust Harvester + Scour for Scrap + Secluded Starforge in a deck with 13 artifacts
>Quantum Riddler
>Nova Hellkite
>Still only went 2-1 instead of 3-0
This format isn't messing around, huh? Half the games I won were nerve wracking, too. Was on 1 life for 4 turns until Rust Harvester won me the game
I've only done one draft but I think this format gives a bunch of opportunities to misplay (stationing, keeping trash around for void, skipping warp...). Reminds me of Brother's War but slower and I loved that set. The one thing that's unnerved me is how good Godmaw looked, I know it's a lot of mana but it closes fast. In any case if the sets is about removal, card draw and making rectangles I'm going to have a good time.
>>96215035Yeah I've noticed my games have been tougher this set too. Lots of synergies to look out for and lots of decisions to make every turn.
I spent an awfully long amount of time meandering with this draft before finally settling on red/blue. And I took a couple of off color cards just because they were rares I wanted.
It looks like a control deck betting on the 5 drops and counters to win the late game.
Any advice?
When will Standard get good again? Rotation didn't help.

Another 2-1, now on WG. Really wanted some better removal here, but no luck. Still, it had some explosive starts that could punish anyone getting screwed on lands, especially with a t1 pollinator. I wanted to like broodguard elite but it's just so slow even for a mana sink, at least tenderfoot can be an early 2/2 body. Dual sun adepts was crazy good though, never sad to draw it. Haliya was quite nice, and I'd imagine even better in a deck with more token generators. She notably counts noncreature artifacts, so all the landers and spacecraft work too. Hemosymbic mite really shone in this one, between the spacecraft and pollinator it was always handing out buffs. Edge rover was nice, isamaru on crack is no slouch and the death trigger is barely a downside. Never drew godmaw or battleship, and I'm thinking I probably shouldn't have ran battleship at all.
>>96215225>next set is spidermannot for a long, long time
>>96215225When every tranny in California is rounded up and set on fire.
>>96215191This deck seems like it's in a tough spot where it's good at controlling the early game but doesn't have any huge threats for the late game. The Chrome Companion is usually a shit card, but it's a good call here. Good luck, anon.
I know you're trying to hedge your bets and vary it up, but Annul is dogshit on the mainboard. Just substitute it for the third divert disaster.
Substitute one of the light jammers for the nutrient block.
>>96215225what's wrong with standard? what are you playing if not standard?
>>96215247>Substitute one of the light jammers for the nutrient block.I understand most of what you say, but I don't get this one. I don't have a lot of creatures and if they remove both of my whales with Gravkill or trajectory I'm probably just dead.
Or is it that important to have the card draw, which might let me protect them with counters anyway?
Also, on a bit of tangent, what's with these cards that have no rarity sign like Inventor's Fair here? I don't think I want it in my deck, but there's a handful of these cards that don't have all the markings and I don't understand why.

sisters, what's your play-in point status?
>>96215191>>96215247>>96215287And here are the results:
1 - enemy bricked on lands
2 - I bricked on lands
3 - I mulligan to prevent myself from bricking on lands, get RAPED IN THE ASS by Chorale of the void and somehow win anyway. At one point, I was on 4 hp while the opponent was on 25 and I went down to 1 before the mechadog rescued me from a Seedship Broodtender graveyard search. And got me like 5 life.
4 - I use pinnacle emmisary to make some drones, generally just survive until I get Kavaron Skywarden (the enemy was white/green with flyers) and hold up the light jammer all game. Eventually cast my big surveil and draw card, then counter his 5 drop and he quits. The deck working exactly as intended here the one and only time.
5 - Mirror match, the opponent goes first, easy loss
6 - I keep the intial hand because it has okay mana, but I don't get much in terms of early game draws. Utterly gigaflood, like, I drew 14 of 17 lands in the deck and eventually lose to having nothing to play. The game rapidly went to 10 lands on each side and I drew all three of my counters that were completely useless in this situation.
3/3, I'm declaring this a failure.

the sphinx's tutelage into water crystal combo is pretty funny in pioneer, it's surprisingly consistent with some digging and control spells and usually goes off turn 4 or 5. Late night 2-1 to close out the day. Sadly this time the loss was to an even greedier pile on sultai. I definitely should've gone down to 16 lands here, slipped my mind. My boy pollinator shines yet again, great for ramp and fixing and triggering the getting tapped abilities safely. Disappointed by skywarden, I wanted to like him but it's harder to trigger void while playing defensively so the reach is awkward. Plus a fair number of spacecraft actually match or outsize the base stats, so you might need to tank a few hits and by then you're half dead anyway. I do think EOE is shaping up to be a slower format, the aggro decks have not been impressing as much as the slower ones. Warp and station are valuable enough that it's often worth slowing the game down and playing for value. There do seem to be a lot of synergy pieces though, and I mostly stuck with RG/UG midrangey stuff today. G looks to be the strongest color, with U or B second. I might actually trudge through bo1 draft this set just for the double mythic achievement, it's close to the end of the season and standard might be a bit less shit now after rotation.
EOE day 1 results:
One 3-0, four 2-1s, for a total of 11-4.
Spent 7,500 gems and won back 6,500 for a net -1,000 gems
Won 18 packs, that's 3,600 gems

>>96221024This deck was basically 2 for 1s, removal and a draw 7, kind of basic. I assumed I had every lategame but a million options to reach there. A card like Faller's Faithful can be powerful while dangerous but avoiding danger at all costs means missing out. I also used Specimen Freighter to bounce my opponent creatures with decent ETBs because I wanted to tie his mana and keep deploying my board until I could get to Weftwalking. Then there's the trinkety shit and void and landers...
Hmm, I'm feeling quirky today so on turn one I'll play 3 Sazh's Chocobo and then pass

A nice 3-0 on WG, the green streak continues after I had to pivot off red despite an early harvester and technician. Impressed with focus fire, not hard to get a few creatures on the board and get a 1 mana osseous exhale. Combined with a fair number of +1/+1 counters, this list could push through damage pretty regularly. Seedship impact is way better than shattered wings imo, most of the dangerous fliers are artifacts anyway. Command bridge has some cute synergy with the tapped down abilities, though I don't think it's strong enough to justify running, probably should've cut it. Exosuit savior is ass, I guess you could rebuy some warped creature with it, but that's not great. At least it's a flying body for haliya. Can't decide if tenderfoot is actually good or bad, the mana sink is nice but playing it t2 feels rough.
Orzhov mana is so good that I think you can play BW sacrifice with only lands that produce black for this.
4 starting towns
4 godless shrine
4 verge
4 fast land
>>96221531I feel like this set is deceptively fast. With all the landers going around you'd think this would be a set that supports multicolored late game, but in practice the creature that drops it is some kind of underpowered and then it demands 2 more mana on top of that. If the opponent just puts down strong creatures instead you get run over before you can deploy your game plan.
I feel like landers are more useful as artifact fodder than accelerators.
>>96221568they trigger void too
>>96221568>I feel like landers are more useful as artifact fodder than accelerators. They are. If you aren't saccing landers to a triggered ability or getting landfall triggers when you pop them you shouldn't be rating them too highly.

Strayed from green and immediately got punished for it, 1-2 on UWr. I think the deck itself was actually fine, I just misplayed a few times. Psionicist is nutty, so easy to keep triggering as long as you have cheap cantrips. Or even just playing it and another 3 drop on t4 is pretty solid. Never actually got to draw my station monitors, but the double spell stuff worked decently enough with operatives and lightsmith. Shepherd is great as expected, whether it's making sure you hit your land drops or grabbing a 1 utility drop. Even better in the archetype since it lets you easily double spell t3 if you want. My late game was pretty decent, with all the card draw, maybe could've ran scour for scrap since I did have a decent number of artifacts.

>>96221568I agree if you're using landers just for ramp/fixing they're not amazing, but most of the stuff they're attached to is perfectly fine. Green has a 3/3 for 3, red gets 4/3 for 4, black is 2/1 for 2. A bit on the weaker side, but they can all trade with creatures on par. But like you said, they're pretty flexible so they can go in multiple archetypes.

>>96222671Not playing a shit format, probably
Went 4/3 with this one. Started in blue, then I thought I'm going to be blue/green, took a bunch of white and then suddenly green opened up and I ended up there.
I got 2 genemorph imago which I thought would be good, but they always showed up at the very end when I had maybe one land to put down.
I didn't draft enough removal to fight it out properly, I think. Only tractor beam and lost in space.
The deck wasn't a complete brick, but it wasn't very impressive either. Pretty bad that 4 wins is my best result in this draft so far out of 4. It feels like everyone is forcing green, the disparity between it and other colors is just too much.

Are simulacrum synthesizer decks good for Bo3 or is artifacts hate too strong for them to shine outside Bo1?
On the topic of landers, I think it's kind of colour dependant and of course at what stage of the game you're in but cracking them has felt fine.
Blue has a bunch of big drops that slow your opponent's offense for a couple of turns and that may be all you need to deploy with relative safety (Speciment Freighter, Mouth of the Storm. Mechanozoa), having some cheap landers in my deck has made me believe it's fine to play a bunch of 5s and 6s which is something I'm usually pretty allergic to you don't need to rush to crack them but having the option of knowing you can play your catch up 6 if you go a turn at half gas gives you some flexibility.
Green has pollinator and tapping landers can let you double spell before you need to crack them which is always fun but more importantly it gets fucked up wayfarer at common. Sami's Curiosity also read good since you can get your rampant growth on turn 2 which is the best turn to get it but it hasn't looked that impressive from my opponent's side.
Black and red seem to want a smaller game and having a trinket that can tactically trigger void on demand can be key. I expect these are the colours where people will cut their outs the most because deck thinning.
I'm not sure what white does but it didn't look like it was in the market for them, I just see people playing 1-2-3 power creatures and losing.
Splashes in general don't look very good, there's only one gold uncommon per pair and a lot of the rares want you to insist on a plan, you can splash for Warmaker Gunship in your GW deck but probably you shouldn't more often than not. Maybe Temur is a thing, without duals I've tried to stick to 2 colours but I'm sure there will be spots. BTW, command bridge can tap a lander, I usually think these want you to tap a land, probably correct to not play that card too often but splashers will have to make do.
I craterhoofed his ass in draft lmao. I can already tell this is the most kino thing I will do in the format
>have the Glacier Godmaw in play, landfall creatures you control get +1/+1 vigilance and haste
>play the mythic whatever it's name is and sacrifice all my lands, getting 8 more from my deck
>final fantasy clapped-cuz-i-saw-it freshies getting their souls sucked out their assholes realizing what mtg really is
It's been fun.
So what does mono-black run now? Is mono-black or rakdos aggro going to be a thing? pic related looks like a fun card
>>96223466Same cards as before. Annex, Preacher, Revenant, Duress, removal
>>96223593>Same cards as beforeExcept all the ones that rotated out....
>>96223355Most green decks should be looking to splash, I think. Maybe not WG, they're on the beatdown plan. Temur is especially good, like you said. A lot of land synergy there, which is perfect since you want landers for fixing anyway.
>>96223363wtf I love EOE now?
>>96222758If everyone is forcing green then they all have fewer good cards. Also why didn't you run labship or eusocial engineering? They're fantastic cards.
>>96223685>>If everyone is forcing green then they all have fewer good cards.Exactly. Everyone's fighting over the green cards and then they add whichever other color sucks the least.
>Also why didn't you run labship or eusocial engineering?I wanted to deliberately make it as aggressive as I can and while Eusocial Engineering can get you a 2/2 on turn 3, that one mana will remain unused and you're paying 3 for a 2/2. Similar idea with the ship, it's a dead card until you hit 6 mana and then you have to invest more attack power into manning it.
Maybe the deck would be stronger if I made it more late game, but this run I really wanted to emphasize aggro.
>>96223725Playing Brawl is cancer.
Its either a faggot meta deck that just autoplays itself or another deck that just steals your cards to play with.
You can't come to Brawl with the mindset of "I'm gonna play a gimmick deck" because it never happens.
>>96223157Artifact beats everything that isn't pure aggro or almost every flavor of combo. Anything that doesn't stop you from setting up or have full board wipes will struggle to beat you unless they can beat you faster than you can setup or have some alt combo wincon but you can probably sideboard in something to stop it
What is controls wincon now anyways? Jace is gone so I have no clue what they could even attempt to use
>>96223955Beza, Shiko and Elspeth.
>>96223978>>96224000Landfall deck with a green base with Felidar retreat and Elspeth as the wincon and Ultima as the anti simularcum printer tech.
Chocobo, ogrelord of green land printing and then whatever.
jankGODs... is it a better enduring curiosity?
Are stations actually viable outside of timmy combos?
>>96224031Depends heavily on if you're dealing damage with multiple small dudes or one or two big dudes. Even then Enduring Curiosity having flash and being hard to remove are also huge boons. One of the few things this has over enduring is that you can crew for 7 instead of just 4 which is pretty marginal.
>>96224040in limited a lot of them are fine. they have some decent enters effects and synergize well with a lot of the "when this thing gets tapped" effects
in constructed? idk maybe. these ones are okay
so many of the spaceships are just outclassed in standard. like this for example
in exchange for 2 power, losing a VERY GOOD omen effect and only being able to target creatures you can... mill 4 cards eventually
>>96224082>uncommon vs rare
>>96224123the rares are all commander bait
>>96224072Obviously they're good in limited
>>96224130Sure, but if Marang was uncommon it would be something like
>coil and catch 2UU>sorcery >Draw three cards, discard 2And the creature side would only return 2 non-dragon creatures and probably have lower stats.
>>96223725>this run I really wanted to emphasize aggro. Why though? There are times you'll want to stray from the given archetype, but it's not like you had super good aggro cards other than imago and baloth.
can someone suggest me some youtube channels that aren't shit?
>remove my commander the turn it's played or you lose
Is this a healthy meta?
In order for spacecraft to be good it has to have the same requirements as vehicles. Either super cheap for a body that's better than a normal creature of that rate or have a pretty solid ETB effect.
I like station more than crew but this is a one set mechanic that will never get support outside of random cummander sets until maybe a decade from now when they run out of UB sets and return to this.
At least it's fun in limited with the warp cards

Another 2-1 on WB. Almost had the trophy, but sadly got screwed on lands. This one was pretty fun, lots of sac and paying life and shit. Comet crawler isn't p1p1 material, but it's solid filler. Don't think it'd be worth running unless you can feed it maybe half the time. Sothera worked nicely with it and culler though, basically a 1 mana edict every turn until their board is clear. Saboteur is nasty when your opponent misses their 2 drop, or even just as a 4 power blocker for 2 mana that's hard to remove. I don't think monolith is actually good, but it's fun and I didn't feel too bad about losing life thanks to all the crawlers.
>commander decks are going to start having cut content via secret lairs releasing with them now
Genuine question with no shit flinging, how much are you willing to endure from this company before enough is enough? Redemption 3-0, back on WG. Nothing crazy here, just play dudes, buff them up, and swing in. Almost threw a game because I forgot biosynthic burst gave hexproof along with the rest of the soup. Exosuit savior had a cute synergy with broodguard elite, bouncing it back to hand to get four uses out of it since the counters transfer on LTB. Plus a flying body to put the counters on, too. Didn't have stations for mite, but it's a cheap body that takes counters pretty well, so that worked well. Same with broodguard and dockworker. Between the warps, X costs, and mana sinks, this one had solid late game gas too. I probably should've cut inquisitor for breacher or something, the effect isn't that significant and a 1 mana 2/1 is fine but nothing amazing, especially in a set with multiple other ones. I still really like focus fire, even if the numbers don't back that up. Yet to get a deck that can reliably bring back anything with reclaimer, but a 5 cost 5/4 flier is still great even against spaceships, I'm guessing most of the time you're not going to be warping it.

A nasty RG deck that went 2-1, stopped only by someone playing double emissary into a bunch of artifacts, twice. Only real issue was that it was heavy on 4 drops, but zookeeper and pollinator helped with that. Never got to draw vestige, but it would've helped too. Big tannuk didn't really do much in this deck honestly, other than a cheeky warped kill ship one time. Still, the threat of fat hasty dudes was worth the slot I think. Thawbringer has actually been doing alright, didn't expect much from wary thespian/watchdog's big brother. Crasher did better than alright, especially in these types of lists where there's a mini combat trick in every lander. Never got to combo pain for all with resolve, but it would've been fun.

Green still looks like the top dog, though I saw some pretty strong decks without it today. These games have been pretty close, EOE feels quite skill testing with a lot of decision points. I definitely had some games where I regretted crewing a ship or warping for value instead of just playing it regularly, and some games where my opponents probably did too. I wouldn't call it fast or slow, there's options to go either way. I just personally leaned towards the slower green decks. One thing to note though is that the synergies are pretty strong, I think you'll want to stick to archetype most of the time. I don't think people will be able to heavily rely on tier lists for this one. G has mostly been landers and counters, U has mostly been double spells and artifacts, W mostly counters and going wide. There's been some deviation but I haven't seen it work out much.
EOE day 2 totals:
Two 3-0, two 2-1, one 1-2, for a record of 11-4
Spent 7,500 gems and won back 7,250 for a net loss of -250 gems
Won a total of 19 packs, worth 3,800 gems
Trophied twice for 4 play in points, worth 800 gems
Have 50 drafted rares now, up 22 from last time, or roughly 2,200 gems
All together, gained 6,550 gems of value today.

>>96225940idk i don't play anything in timeless other than oops
>>96224203Because I wanted to try and see how it turns out.
>trying to do my three daily wins with a combo deck
>keep going second against blue decks
I really hate this game sometimes
>>96225881Nothing is gone when you can build your own decks.
>>96225763>game 1>go 2nd>opponent plays seed-ship on 3 and is able to station and attack with it on turn 4 putting a lashwhip into playits already joever.
What do I do with all of this? I'm dogshit at drafting btw.
>>96226562At least spend your draft tokens.
Then turn the gold into packs, probably. Or if you want to be autistic, wait until you accumulate 90k gold so you can buy the big pack with the irrelevant bonus.
>>96226901Gotcha. Any good resources for getting gud at drafting? I know about 17lands and limitedgrades, but I assume autistically following rankings isn't the best course of action.
>>96226916a mix of playing constructed enough to know the basic principles of the game, knowing what limited decks for each archetype are vaguely supposed to look like in the format, and autistically following rankings will get you pretty far. Basically knowing which cards are good and which decks they are specifically good in gives you the best chance while drafting. You see a pick 6 blue uncommon that is insanely good in specifically blue/white you start to get some ideas.
>>96226938Cool, thanks a lot. I'll go research the archetypes first then before I jump in.
>>96226916my primary drafting knowledge resource is shitposting in this thread and seeing what come up in response.
bros why are midrange decks so expensive? it's all i like to play but i cant even craft one right now because they require so many rare wildcards
>>96227052That does sound smart too. I think this place is probably pretty good for advice when it comes to making cuts.
>>96225376>>96225576Is it just me or is red worthless as anything other than a support color in this format? It can be a secondary color that is supporting the main color's themes or part of a green soup deck, but any deck that has red as the main color is dogshit.
>>96227170Because they require so many rare wildcards.
Any good rakdos burn listo for standar these days?
>>96227963There is Kuja and his black mages deck, but it's not actually good.
>>96227490Yeah it's in a bit of a poor spot because most of the mechanics for it are done better by other colors. Green has better landfall support, blue has better artifact support, black has better void support, white doesn't really have better "2 tapped creatures" support, but that archetype just sucks anyway. The removal is good though, there's some decent cards here and there, so it's fine as a support color like you said.
>>96228355sad, i fucking hate vivy meta
and the alternative is way ass boring token control
>>96225576True, but that's what green does every set and sometimes the numbers just don't work out in its favor. Like if you compare hazard of the dunes to icecave crasher, hazard wins easily. But then we've got innocent looking creatures like wayfarer that just feel really good to have.
>fuck up my order of spells and cant win
>opponent concedes anyways
hehe
>xyr won't stop highlighting permanents
enjoy the rope
>>96229118Just grinding the event or? Where do I find good alchemy lists? Do I just grind mono-white lifegain?
>>96229324Just grinding the event or? yes
Where do I find good alchemy lists? that's the neat part, you don't. which makes it the best format by default since you have to come up with stuff
Do I just grind mono-white lifegain? timmy noob strat unless you're running life-mill with the ff card
>>96229336>the best format by default since you have to come up with stuffWhy do you say this when you just netdeck the top deck constantly?
alchemy actually sucks, going back to standard
alchemy is standard, you are going back to nu extended
>>96229609Nu-extend this dick

Green players aren't bullied nearly enough
>>96230135>nooo you have to stay and play against my faggy decklol
>>96230135correct, green is the color of low iq
>draft bombs
>never see them in 9 games
>run lower than average land count
>flood out in 2/3 of games
I've gotten this unlucky in paper once in the past 19 years. On Arena it's every other event.

Not a fan of UG, but we got the 2-1 still. Lack of good removal made things pretty dicey at times, despite having some strong cards. Selfcraft mechan was a bit awkward without relic, since you obviously don't want to sac creatures, and the deck wanted to use landers for the lands. Still, they worked well enough and upped the artifact count for escort. Navigator is no merfolk looter, but it does a decent impression when combined with pollinator or the stations. Lost in space is very nice against opponents using landers, if you can time it so they shuffle away their creature. I think I got baited into G this run, I probably should've went UW or something like that. Despite it being the best color imo it's not worth forcing that hard, since you're really looking for synergy this set. Not sure how I feel about godmaw, I was usually either already winning when it dropped or so far behind trying to ramp up to it that if it got removed, I lost. Especially since it's not craterhoof, it basically costs 8 or even 9 if you have no lands in hand. That being said, the effect is great so idk maybe I played it wrong.
elegy acolyte should not exist
yeah i'm not going back to historic
the only thing this challenge has made me realize is how unfun the meta has become
>>96230135They complain but t1 mana accellerant is one of the stronger things you can possibly do... but a removal spell? Also a green deck should usually be happy about you blowing a swords on a 1/1
decided to draft some tdm
>>96230811b-bu-but my ramperinos!! me want cast big thing!!!
>>96230827Holy shit first ever 7-x
I didn't even think the deck was that good
>>96231166congratulations, you won 2 packs and 950 gemmies when you could have made 6 packs and 1000 gemmies plus 2 play-in tokens were you to have played constructed events like alchemy instead
>>96228810>True, but that's what green does every set and sometimes the numbers just don't work out in its favorLander tokens are great because it combos with nearly everything you'd want to do in this set
>Landfall>Artifacts>Sacrifice>Void>TappingLiterally half of the cards that create Lander tokens this set are in green. Also green having some of the best big boys matters more in this set since it's slower paced, aggro is still possible but it requires specific combo pieces to work. Slower decks win by either playing out stronger big boys or by having a lot of removal and card draw
I got the dumb jump in token. Will there be an EOE dedicated jump in or do I just dump it on trying to snag a rare or 2 I dont have from normal jump in?
>play EOE
>draw all one land
>lose
>game two
>draw all other land
>lose
>game three
>opponent playing same deck but has perfect curve, never misses drop, always has answer to my plays even when it looks like I can turn it around
Yeah no lol give me back FF this draft sucks, worse than Ikoria
>>96231601sounds like a string of bad luck but I kind of agree, the bombs are a bit too good and if you aren't playing that you are pretty much forced into playing mindless forcing 2-3-4 curve slop. Too many dead commons/uncommons.
aaah this piece of shit client never keeps my show phases thing toggled. googling it shows that it's been a recurring problem since 2022

Strong WG deck that got absolutely robbed of a trophy through getting fucked by lands twice in a row, to go 2-1. Started out with p1p1 haliya into three rayblade troopers in a row, and pulled solid stuff after that. Seriema was very good here, pulling out either haliya and becoming a big flier itself. Even better with big haliya because you can swing in for free with her and the flying body is easy hits. Germinating wurm also happens to work really well with small haliya, getting you the 3 life by itself, potentially twice. Same with radiant strike, a potential reason to cast it on your turn. The rayblade troopers were great, lots of counters, lots of tokens. At worst a 3/3 for 3 that gives you a 1/1 on death, good shit. Biosynthic burst is sweet when it's just creature on creature combat but man does it feel bad when you get blown out. I think swapping out a 3 drop for a pilot or two would've made the curve better, but all my stuff at 3 was strong so I just left it, might not be the optimal choice.
>>96232163>greasfangthis is alchemy, grasegirl is long gone
>>96231166it wasn't. you were too spread between all three colors when your manabase couldn't really support it. also, aside from your behold spells, the card quality in your deck is pretty atrocious too. still, congrats on the win.
