Game idea: make a Horus Heresy style game set during the Emperor's conquest of Earth, with thunder warriors instead of space marines
Anonymous No.96222135
They should not just make it a game but also another whole lore event to explore like Horus Heresy... Would be so kino

Imagine, Warhammer: Neoth's Crusade

"Game idea: take any mysterious and unexplored time period of the lore and set a Horus Heresy style game during the period to explain and remove the coolness of it"

Thunder Warriors to me feel like they should be closer to Stormtroopers+ than Space Marines-, f you get what I mean.

It’s for the best that gw doesn’t touch anymore mythical parts of the 40k settinf. Horus heresy has already been butchered.

Used to be they were inferior to space marines. Now they're bigger, stronger, tougher, but totally not as good as space marines because of reasons.

Can't wait for thunder warriors to be pre-Unification units and space marine legions were around for all the major battles of the Unification Wars, and fielding Saturnine terminator armour in large numbers.

GW would fuck it up. Find or modify a narrative skirmish ruleset and play out the battles of an OC rags to riches warlord

Skirmish seems right rather than a grand scale game

There's getting more written about the Imperial Army specifically the Old Hundred. Also remember the Emperor did use Techno-Barbarian mercenaries and many Techno-Barbarian warlords did bend the knee to the Emperor, so more on that would be neat.

They're not larger, BL cum guzzling lorelet. Canon TWs are small and wimpy prototypes, little more than glorified gland warriors.

newsflash faggot but you're not in fact the arbiter of what is and isn't canon
