Post a pic of the last /tg/ game you played
Stealing the idea from the boomers at LAF and trying to de-shit the board...

Post a picture of the last game you played.Tell us a little about the game. Don't dox yourself or your friends if possible.
--------------

Necromunda, Goliath vs Cawdor, played 'The Marauders' Scenario, Goliath defending.

Cawdor kept up a steady rate of fire on the big lads and put a Bruiser and a Bully OOA, but failed to achieve their objective of taking out the Leader and Champs. Pure bad luck on Cawdors end, multiple missed shots and lots of failures to wound with the templates. Not a single successful Blaze in the game.

Goliaths lucked into getting max reinforcements after the first round, thus fielding a full roster. Steady forward pressure and good armour saves eventually brought a number of goons into melee range, which spelled the end for the trash boys.

Highlight: Shortly fter a crossbow Firebrand flattened two Goliaths with a frag grenade, a cheeky Blunderpole Brethren peaked around the corner and shredded their asses on the ground. 2 OOA.

Basically the tanker at the bottom was an NPC making a delivery to the fortress at the top. There were around 8 gangs around the table, each with secret objectives (not just about the tanker). Gangs were 1000 creds with a couple of vehicles to help them cart loot and move around the large board.

So yeah it was pretty crazy in a good way.

Delightful board. I wanna say the lack of levels is disconcerting for Necromunda, but I suppose it's Ash Waste-y themed?

Are there any actual Necromunda models/gangs in there? I see like... a Skaven... an ankylosaurus... Alf... Karl from DRG...

Not too many actually, it was just the 2004 ruleset with simultaneous turns and some hacked vehicle rules.

We ran a game on remote. I can never find the time to figure out how to use Roll 20, so I used Google Slides instead. I have a TON of terrains I built, but I can never get my players together in a single physical place now that half of us have babies, so instead I took pictures of the terrains and minies and used them as assets.
I still can't find a mech that looks like it could be built for underwater operations, so I used a video game asset for that.
I quickly sketched the portraits of the PCs, given the dramatic lack of non-humanoid alien miniatures that I could use as stand-in.
Google slides was suprisingly easy to use and convenient and we all had a lot of fun.
All of the PCs are aliens from different species, because that's what this game is about.

Not the most recent but the only one I had handy. Messing around trying to figure out the mechanics of Kill Team a couple months ago. The LOTR orc is a marine with a grenade launcher.

Final game of a grand tournament, Imperial Guard vs Eldar. Because I was playing Bridgehead strike the guy was heavily being a prick by having his units models spread out just enough to still be in unit coherency and to keep out my aquillons and scions in reserves during his movement phases

Haven't taken photos of very many of my games, but I did get a pic of the This is Not a Test 2e game I played with my roommate using the prelease pdf a few months back. Clowns (raiders) vs. mutants (mutants). Trying to get schedules to align to start a larger campaign.

Last IRL pic I have of a rpg game is from 2017.
Note the epic scene of that trapped NPC wizard who put himself and the demons who cornered him into stasis, in hopes of somebody finding and rescuing him.

Brilliant idea, OP, you're definitely not a fag. This time.

My most recent game was a 1500 point brawl in 40k2e, my Iron Snakes space marines vs my mates Blood Axe ork army. My mission was to control the high ground on the table, while he needed to push through my deployment zone. In this picture we can see one of my dreadnoughts, Ancient Aritas, stomping around the smokescreen he'd put down the previous turn(blind grenade auto-launchers are AWESOME) to blast the greenskins advancing through the middle avenue of the table with his heavy plasma gun. I landed my template in a real nice spot, managing to wipe out a good chunk of the boys(nailed 4 of them!) behind the gretchin screen as well as the nob in mega armour leading them. Great times! I will say that I lost this match, and by a lot, but that was a real nice moment for me. I posted a battle report in the /grog/ thread, come check it out if you want to know more and see the rest of my pictures.

Game of scarlet heros (low party member osr game)

Goblinoids set up in an abandon temple, specifically a confessional gallery (That place where priests take anonymous confessions with the dividers.) Party bursts in, goblins just about to attack, but then an ogre bursted in as a third party. goblins had to split forces between pc's and the ogre and got recked, leader orc abandoned the place and only the worg was left harassing the ogre. we decided to dip for a turn, but the worg somehow lasted on, so we felt sorry and tried to help it kill the ogre. the ogre came at us and smashed a pen keeping other worgs, sending shrapnel at us. finally ended the ogre using a magic wand with 2 charges of magic missle. took the next turn befriending the worg since its erstwhile master abandoned it and all of its packmates were smushed jelly.

And to follow on, here's a shot of my most recent Warzone 2e game.

Dark Legion: Ilian vs. Mishima, unever points for a breakthrough scenario, legion are assualting to try and burst through the defensive line and escape the encirclement before the artillery and bombers can be brought to bear. In this shot we see the undead legionnaire screen is almost entirely depleted with the neophyte cultists starting to take the brunt of enemy fire, my Nepharite has pushed up to unleash her powers, she's just about to unleash a chain lightning that cooks a bunch of the ronin on that hill flanking my advance! In the end this game was another loss for me, which is to be expected since I came up with the scenario while on toilet break at work earlier that morning. So it was pretty rough to play, it was still fun, though definitely needs a proper sit down to revise and tighten up the scenario.

This was the conclusion of an ongoing narrative for our previous games, was good to play it out, but disappointing to see my men gunned down so easily. Will be playing my capitolians next time, I've got them half done and hopefully fully painted by the time my mate and I have another game.

This is where our VTT stands after last session. I make all the maps. Most of the minis are generic but I bought the ones they made for themselves and some major NPCs off heroforge. I make all the maps on inkarnate.

I know lots of people like other VTTs better, but I prefer Tabletop Simulator. It really does just feel like sitting at a table with dice and maps and minis and friends, to me. Or, at the very least, as close as we can all be assed to get to it.

Chain of Command 2e
Flank Attack, Germans attacking the Soviet village of Vilosi trying to capture the strategically important Hill 312 (loosely based on a real battle)
>Germans have jumping off points in the western forest and southern wood by the village edge
>Soviets cluster around the hill
>A german section probing from the western woods is quickly ambushed by 3 soviet sections
>The germans route and the rest deploy, a Flamepanzer and two more sections
>The flamepanzer burns down one of the objective buildings (yellow house) to route the soviets inside
>Also goes on to rout another two soviet sections
>A soviet BT-7 rounds the corner and after a few rounds of fire destroys the Flamepanzer
>The remaining sections slug it out, with the german morale eventually collapsing
Incredibly close and fun game, inspired me to get off my ass and start painting again

Yeah if you're a hobbyist you definitely lose out on the modeling aspect, but there is a much bigger emphasis on diorama building I've noticed. Even within the historical community 28mm Bolt Action players tend to have GW style boards while 15mm WW2 gamers put a lot of effort into it....not counting my felt board of course
