Reaching 7 yields seems rather easy if you actually play first and not do this gay ass go 2nd to shoot to pieces, with memnyr you you rushed 2 objectives in no man's you should be easily on 7 points or more in the OP's command phase so you can bunker down which is what they want to do

I wanna make some Khrushchevka style apartment blocks that stand really tall(a foot?) and are about one foot by one foot, because I'm a slave to spectacle.
I'm not really sure other than that. I was thinking ground floor would just be a generic foyer, but I like the idea of mixed development, where theres a store on the ground level, or even on the ground and first levels, or maybe make the ground and first floor a transit hub?
But if not mixed developments, then maybe seperate buildings for warehouse stores? Like grimdark Costco.
Any other ideas for infrastructure or buildings would be appreciated. I was thinking office buildings might be a good idea too?

The problem is 1000pts gives you a very limited unit composition so more often than not your opponents simply will not bring anti-tank to deal with them. I face Rogal Dorns quite often at 1000pts and always have lost against them until last week where I decided to chew my opponents infantry and other stuff and simply ignore the Dorn. My opponent had one Dorn left and some mortars in the corner and was not able to score any VPs with it even though it can kill anything. So yes, it's winnable against them but quite distasteful to bring those kinda models at 1000pts.

-If an attack wipes your entire infantrymen and its command squad in one go, before the command squad becomes a separate unit, can you still target your infantrymen with Combined Arms' Reinforcements strategem?
-For the missions that complete at the end of your turn, say controlling a no man's land objective at the end of your turn, is it possible to stretch your units in a straight line to break the coherency to complete it? Coherency gets checked at the end of the turn, so does the objective so do you as the player get to resolve which one goes first?

I'm not sure how they are going to balance the difficulty because the difference between a good build and a bad build is massive and I don't think you can fix that primary problem by change the enemies numbers. Also it's one of those games where most encounters are fair and reasonable and there are just a small handful of huge difficulty spikes that count as walls.
Spoilers Fighting the first space marine is a genuine wall if you dont bring the navigator and will force many players to lower the difficulty and then find the rest of the game too easy. By FAR the worst wall in the game is the final GSC ambush because theres not really a way to prepare for it without knowing its coming and once it happens you are locked into it. the RNG stun 3/4 of your party and give the opponent 3 rounds of unopposed combat is genuinely awful design for what should be one of the most absolute highs of the entire game. narratively 10/10, that final ambush by the trains 2/10. I say this as someone who beat the final boss with every difficulty slider cranked to max without taking a point of damage

Hey guys I have a shooting phase question:
If I peek a model around a corner, if I'm reading this right... I can fire my whole squad at what that one model can see right?
Then once my unit gets shot at, I just kill that one model to prevent the whole unit from being hit by as many units as they can fire at them right?
I'm not sure if I'm getting him. I'm a big collector, but given what GW has been doing in the last decade it feels weird to support them.

>>96262112Once attacks are allocated they are allocated. If you want your unit to not get shot don't let your enemy get LOS. You can allocate wounds to any non leader unit you want though. Once the exposed unit dies, if the unit survives, another unit nearby wont be able to follow up on that shooting.

They've always been less popular than most of the og legions, I would worry that this is a testing product to see what kind of interest is there for cf, and if enough people don't pick it up that it'll be the new rg where you get one model every ten years. If you're going to buy the rest of the army from recasters I'd say go for it. But if you love cf, and want more I think it'd be in your best interest to show gw that you are a fan of cf and want more
