I don't know enough about them, and really hope they are fleshed out more in later expansions, but the conquistador vampires are my favourites. Their Queen hasn't been "revealed", and there isn't anything more than hints through other cards regarding her, so hopefuly we get more imperial vamps sometime in the future.
Vona, Butcher of Magan and Elenda, Saint of Dusk are my favourites among the cards that we do have.

To be honest, if you're building your deck right, everyone one of your permanent, including your lands, should be remove on sight. Whether it's cEdh or casual, every card in your deck should be part of a synergistic whole that should, in most circumstances, make your opponents sweat. If you can play multiple cards and your opponents don't care about a single one, your deck fucking sucks, sorry.

Seems fun. You can just search out any piece, but if your deck relies on it too much your opponents can just leave it. Drawing 3 cards for 4 sorcery speed isn't too much above the curve. Even some politic'ing possible, by allowing you to search out the way to deal with an opponent's BS, if you can convince at least one of the other 2 to give you the card.

Either Gideon or Sigarda. Gideon is really fucking cool from the traditional warriors standpoint of being this daunting, hulking figure of strength and noble heroism that simply refuses to die (until he does. I blame indestructible being weaker as the years go on) and Sigarda being this empathetic, radiant figure that, despite her reservations, rallies humanity at the darkest hour where even Avacyn has fallen to corruption and remains a champion of light and justice for the people to follow is really great stuff

Avacyn's lore is really cool, i agree. One of the only magic characters who actually has cool lore. Teysa Karlov too, her lore being her advisors and handlers have her under a mind control spell and whore her out to Ravnica's highest bidder every night, and she doesn't remember any of it (actual lore from the guildpact novel)

Flash and cost reduction is just too good. I built him into a very jank pillow fort enchantress deck where the objective is to win with 3 card combos that cos about 12 mana without cost reduction. It is very slow, it doesn't play very well, and people still treat me as the threat cos Heliod.

Not sure what to do really. I have an esper enchantress deck now, and I'm cooking 2 other azorius decks. I'm really tempted to break Heliod enchantress down but at the same time I like the super jank combos and have nowhere else to put them.

There's a few enchantments that say "when you cycle a card, flicker a creature" so since the vast majority of initiative triggers are ETB, you include a bunch of creatures with cycle and a ton of flicker spells/permanents. And once you're already in that dungeon, every creature you cycle (once per turn, ofc) triggers Sefris herself as well as the Astral Drift/etc enchantments

To add on what the other anon said regarding Sigarda, it also helped that she tended to protect the far more remote villages, so when things went tits up for her other sisters and Avacyn, she was far away and didn't get hit with nearly as strong an effect as them.
Also she tended to be more emotionally attached to the humans she protected and guarded, as opposed to Avacyn and her other sisters who saw themselves more as higher beings, so that simplistic devotion helped keep her from succumbing as well.
I think it kind of reflects in her stats as well, as compared to her older version to her more recent versions, she went from a 5/5 higher cost to a 4/4 lower cost with more focus on humanity, going from Hexproof on herself as Host of Herons, to Hexproof on (You) and humans in Heron's Grace, to shifting more and more towards humanity in her Font of Blessings/Champion of Light cards, respectively. It's kinda neat how her cards really fit her story

In the exact same boat. Got a Golgari Spider deck as a Christmas Kringle from a friend back in 2019. Made Shelob as the Commander when it got released but Spider as a tribe has been shafted quite hard. I keep a set of those edh starter decks sleeved at all times. I think they are really well put together.
I did make some small tweaks like putting better lands in and adjusting the land/ramp/removal ratio slightly but only after like 20 games and only where it was extremely obvious.

The idea that the plane is all one place trapped within the domain and under the control of some eldritch demon is pretty cool. Probably should be the home plane of Ashiok due to the focus on fear and nightmares. Also I’m not sure how ghosts work on the plane but I imagine that it’s a “Death is not an escape” situation, which would also have the horrifying implication that Valvgavoth subsumed the afterlife as well. Don’t care for the retro horror aesthetic because I don’t think it adds anything to the plane besides filler.

Pitch a a setting for a new Hat set and five characters you would want to see there.
